They took out 6 large trees and additional branches of trees to clear a path to the neighbors property. This destroyed our back tree cover and we can now see into our neighbors windows. I have been trying to reach the owner for 3 months to get the damage fixed and have received no contact following my calls, email or better business bureau contact. They also drove their truck through our burn ring. Strongly recommend against using this company.

Gandy's Landscaping has been great for us and stood by their word! They came by our neighborhood…read morejust at a time when we were remodeling our backyard. They seemed like nice guys so I told them what we needed and they wrote out a quote which was much less than anyone else considering the size of trees/shrubs we wanted and that installation was included. I told them I'd call them - so in the next few days I checked them out on the internet. They had some bad reviews, but they were all from a few years ago, so I decided to give them a chance. Everything went well, but we did have several trees that didn't make it (we planted in the middle of summer in 100 degree weather). But true to their word, they came back in September when it had cooled down and replaced the trees free of charge. We've since used them again for additional plants. Great guys!

I contacted Ellis Tree Service the same day a tree fell on our house after they were recommended to…read moreus by State Farm. I was told we were number 22 on their list, they were currently working on number 6, and that they expected to be at our property within two days. On the second day, I received a call saying they were running behind and would be out within the next couple of days. That was the last I ever heard from them. No call. No text. No follow-up. Nothing. Obviously, when you have a tree sitting on your house, you can't wait around indefinitely wondering whether a company is actually going to show up, so I had no choice but to find someone else to handle the cleanup. I completely understand being overwhelmed after a major storm. What I don't understand is telling a homeowner they are on your schedule, giving them a timeframe, and then simply disappearing. At the very least, a quick phone call asking whether we still needed service would have taken a couple of minutes. When someone is dealing with damage to their home, communication matters. Unfortunately, based on my experience, Ellis Tree Service completely dropped the ball on that.
