The estimator happened to be in my neighborhood and came right over. He gave me a great price to clean up 5 fallen trees. We then had them come out in January of 2026 to take care of another huge branch from a storm and some other branches. Again, quoted a fair price. Just 2 weeks ago, another tree fell on our property from a storm. We cut back what we could and hired Forresters to come finish cutting it up and hauling all the wood away, including some brush we had. Every time they cleaned up the yard perfectly, left the yard neat as a pin. I highly recommend them!

In the spring of 2020, I contracted with Gemini Lawn and Landscaping to complete some landscaping for me in New Buffalo. I was asked to put down a 50% deposit (of several thousand dollars) which I did. Following my deposit, Gemini Lawn and Landscaping alleged they never received the monies despite clear evidence to the contrary from Chase that the funds had been removed from my account. After several attempts to rectify the situation, I was left no other options but to pursue legal recourse. With so many landscaping options available to us in Harbor Country, I would urge all to steer clear of this deceitful company!

Based no recommendations from locals, we called Jeff. We saw the lawn slowly reappear over the summer and fall. This spring, we have the most beautiful lawn and landscaping. Jeff and all his crew are always on schedule and never miss a detail when they work in our yard. The are also very consccientious about not destroying our property. If you live in Harbor Country and need lawn work, snow removal, or housesitting, I would highly recommend Gemini.

Earlier this month we contacted four different tree service companies in northwest Indiana to give…read moreestimates for taking down some large trees that were growing dangerously close to our house and garage. A big wind storm at the beginning of October had caused one huge limb to fall on the garage roof which made us realize that we could not delay this task any longer. Of the four services we called Jon's tree service was the most responsive as well as the most reasonably priced. They came out within a few days of first contact and emailed us an estimate within 24 hours of that visit. While they were taking down the dead or dying trees that were threatening the garage we did another inspection and realized we had additional trees that were in bad shape and so we expanded the project. Jon was happy to revise the estimate and was very generous in combining certain pieces of the project, like the chipping and the clearing up, so that we wouldn't be doubling the price. His team was very professional and efficient and we were astonished at how quickly they were able to get down these huge trees without damaging anything around them. Because we had expanded the project considerably we had to ask a family member for some financial assistance and Jon's was very gracious in giving us another week to pay the final installment after the job was done. We were truly impressed with every aspect of Jon's Tree Service and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a good tree removal company!

Most of the people I called flat out refused the work or like another local company, kept giving me the run around, saying they would give me an estimate but then never did. Jon's tree service gave me a fair price, and the crew finished the work in three days, climbing the high trees and taking them down piece by piece. The crew knew what they were doing, were friendly, and they were fast and efficient. I had a good experience with this company. Thank you!
