I was prepared to list a property for sale and asked Paul 4 weeks prior to listing to add topsoil and hydro seed with his best and fastest growing lawn seed product. Total cost was well over $1000. In order to get a bobcat into the backyard the fence was dismantled. When it came time to list the house the lawn looked worse than it originally did despite watering regularly. Not only did grass not grow, weeds grew rampant. It turned my yard into a mud pit and weed field. Don't trust me trust the attached pics. I called, texted Paul on multiple occasions to reinstall the fence he removed and asked him to resolve the lawn and weed issues. When he finally called back I was told that the grass seed only works 60% of the time. This information would have been useful before I spent $1000 to ruin my lawn and fence. Paul never fixed the issues, never warrantied his work and never called me back despite leaving multiple voicemails and texts requesting follow up. I ended up giving the buyers of the house a $1k credit and told them not to use this company. It was a complete waste of my time and money. Don't waste $2k like I did. I contacted Paul based on the previous Yelp reviews and I am very happy I did. My family is trying to sell my father's house in South Bend, IN and we needed some repairs done to satisfy the VA appraisal. I live in Florida and I found success on Yelp previously when obtaining quotes from contractors so I decided to do the same when I needed handyman services. I needed to have the drain spouts re-attached to the house, have any necessary repairs made and include extension onto the spouts themselves. I contacted Paul and he went out and properly assessed the situation and explained exactly what was necessary to complete the project, while also providing a reasonable quote. He obtained the materials and completed the work the following week. During this time, he kept me informed and even provided me pictures of the completed effort given I lived out of town. I am just delighted with the work of Paul and Luke Stevens in clearing my lawns and hauling away the leaves, without a lot of warning from us. After the county's second and final pass, there were still lots of leaves on our trees up here in Clay Township which soon inundated our lawns. We just contacted them on an emergency basis, but they worked us into their schedule, even working when the sun set and practically in the dark. Their responsiveness was a relief, and they left my lawn immaculate. And the best part, these are the nicest, most hard-working lads you'll ever meet, congenial, responsive and reasonably priced (in fact I don't think they asked for enough on the bill).
