    Do not use this business! They totally tried to scam me. Took Jetta in for a simple timing belt…read moreand water pump change. Tried to quote me $1,500 then went up to $1,700. Claimed a $100 rise in water pump costs!? A DEALER quoted me only $791 for same work. Then when I said no, they tried to charge me $100 for a diagnostic!? That means they hooked up their OBD II Scanner and got the code and claimed that it read codes for routine mainenance of water pump and timing belt. Ridiculous! Codes don't tell when it's time for routine maintenance, and Autozone reads this same info FOR FREE!? They get 1 star from me because there's no option for zero stars!

The seat was working fine when dropped off both electrically & manually but when picked-up it wasn't working at all. The car was in/on their premises the entire month they had it but yet they denied it being their fault. Someone had to have known what happened to the seat because the seat molding was cracked where they tried to force it back into position but couldn't. Spoke to mechanic that stated no work was done in the seating area then went to get Blake who came & looked it over then said it could be left to be checked out. I was afraid to leave it again; no telling what would happen to it the 2nd time around; also felt that the charges/fees were to high. So now the car has to go in for seat repairs but it won't be taken to Forza!!!

I told the guys at Cates what was going on and they went with the logical solution: actually looking at the transmission and telling me what needed to happen. Turns out I only needed a new torque converter. They seem to be a very honest shop. Everything they did was on time, and they followed through on their word as far as pricing. If I ever have any transmission issues in the future I will more than likely be returning to Cates if I'm still in the area.

About 4 days later the car started struggling to shift gears and the transmission went out! We towed the car on a trailer back to Cates so they could fix it again. It took them TWO weeks with our van to IDENTIFY the problem and they said they will try to have it fixed next week, but no guarantee on when it will be done. I'm very upset with their lack of communication, as I have had to call them each week for an update. They have not called once to tell me anything- even when it was done the first time, they had it sitting in their lot without any notification! I am very dissatisfied with the service and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Back in August, I bought a 2023 Ram 1500 SLT (3.6L) from Classic Dodge & Chrysler. When we first…read morearrived, a salesman named Conner greeted us. He seemed genuine and eager to help. He showed us several trucks and promised he could get anything we wanted from their sister stores. When my wife and I mentioned we might keep looking, he got nervous and said his bosses didn't like people walking out -- that he'd get in trouble. Not wanting to make things hard for him, we stayed. Later, when I mentioned going with another dealer, he went to management and came back saying they had a "better truck and better deal." Trusting him and management, I agreed to buy that truck. That's where the problems began. It took two weeks to even receive the truck. When I finally got it, it still had the previous owner's belongings, hadn't been detailed, and had several issues: Broken rear license plate light Missing passenger-side fender well No front plate mount (required in Texas) And later, the electronic braking system failed -- I lost cruise control on a four-hour round trip drive. They agreed to fix these issues after my trip. I brought the truck back as scheduled and didn't get it for three days, but the only thing they fixed was the rear plate light. I've been calling ever since. They keep saying they'll provide a rental car so they can replace the fender well (which they now have in stock) and inspect the electronic braking system -- but no one ever calls back. Every time, it's the same story: "We'll call you when the rental's ready." That call never comes. It's been almost four months, and nothing has been resolved. I've been patient and understanding, but this dealership's lack of communication and accountability is unbelievable. If you're considering buying from Classic Dodge & Chrysler, please get every promise in writing. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting their word.
