2021 Acura Rdx. I was hit from behind on the the turnpike. Wow...these folks did an amazing job. It's flawless. It took about 6 weeks-ish but that's because of the supply chain issue. When I got in the car it was washed outside and detailed inside. Even though it's a new car, it looked like a new new car. The only gripe I have is that I reached out to them once on the phone and once in person I was told that they were waiting for parts but so and so will call me with the update because he's with a customer. I just wanted to share my recent experience with D&C Auto Body in Tenafly which has been a nightmare. I had an accident that caused damage to driver side of the car. While they worked on fixing the damage on the right side (driver side) of the car, I am guessing that they had to remove the frame on the right side (driver side) of the windshield, at which time they broke the clips. After picking up the car I did not noticed anything until I got on the highway two days later and the mold on the right side (driver side) was flying off the car. They basically just put the mold back without anything holding it down to the frame. I call them on Monday March 14th morning and I was told to bring the truck in, which I did. I was then told that they would have to order the clips and that they would call me in two days. Since they did not call me, I decide to call them on Thursday March 17th to find out the status. I was told to bring the car in on Friday March 19th. So, on March 19th I brought in the car in. They took it in and after about one hour of waiting they brought the car out. When I inspect the mold, it was still half loose. I noticed remnants of some white paste and realize that they did not use clips to secure the mold to the frame but rather some sort of paste. So, I brought the matter to the attention of the person that was handling my case. I showed him how the mold was still loose. He claimed that the mold had been mounted with clips and he asked if I would like him to have it glued. I told him that I want it to be fix right. He insisted on gluing it. I realized that continuing discussing the matter would be a lost of time as he clearly did not care about the quality of work perform at the shop or the customers so I left. I have contacted my insurance and will be addressing the repairs with them. I will not go back to D&C Auto Body in Tenafly as I do not believe that they care about doing the job right, moreover, I would be concert that they would break something else while trying to fix any damage. read more

Had my Honda Civic 2019 bumper fixed at D & C auto body after someone hit my car backing up. First time I had to take my car to a body shop and I am so happy I came across this place. My car was fixed and ready to be picked up within hours. The appointment was very easy to make, I was taken care as soon as I arrived, no wait time. I was T-boned and given the option to use my Geico insurance or the at-fault drivers USAA insurance to repair my 2016 Honda Accord. After learning that Geico guarantees their repairs for as long as you own your car I decided to proceed using Geico. D&C was an authorized Geico repair shop. Using D&C auto body made this experience SO easy! You cannot go wrong with this shop! Because they are affiliated with D&C Honda, the repair was done much more quickly than I expected. Juan from Geico looked at the car and explained what would be replaced, repaired & painted. Matt from Enterprise has a desk @ D&C so he was waiting for me with my rental car. James the manager at D&C was super! I had a mark on my bumper that was nowhere near the accident damage but he offered to have his guys compound it. My car was repaired perfectly! Was in an accident and decided to have this shop work on my car even though it is a RAV4 and I have always preferred a Toyota Body Shop. They did a fantastic job on my car. Of course I wish I did not have to bring it to them but I am very pleased with the work that was done to my car. I do not particularly know what's reasonable as far as price for how body shop-car work services but I am pretty satisfied with the work that they did to my car. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if at all possible. CANNOT believe this is the body shop owned by the Honda of Tenafly dealership (where I have purchased several cars)! Terrible, terrible service - liars, cheats, frauds - and i wasn't even paying out of pocket (covered by another person's insurance). Had to bring third parties into the problems they caused. To be perfectly fair, I had problems (many issues) with only one person, who seems to be simultaneously an office worker and a mechanic - maybe someone who is in charge of the day-to-day operations? And I think part of the problem is that he is on a gender and racial high-horse. But he should be careful, because even someone who seems young and inexperienced can turn out to be a lawyer, in this case. read more

Horrible place!!! I went in to get a quote for scratches all over my car. Mostly on the drivers and passengers.. And a few key scratches all over, maybe 5. I was quoted by a man that works in the office blondish/brown hair , short and stout..He quoted me $5500 for the work. Along with the scratches I had 2 dings(tiny little things, looks like a bb gun did it).. When I was surprised by the quote, he told me" well, we have to do body work on the car as well" I responded, yes you would, but its two tiny little dings.. Anyways, I went somewhere else and got it done for $400 Honda of Tenafly and their body shop are rip off artists!!!! read more

They did a great job fixing damage to the rear bumper on my Camry. But what made me give them a 5 star rating was Jim, one of their service advisers, giving me a call on a Saturday to tell me that I could pick up the car on a day where they were otherwise closed. In a world full of service providers that lack professionalism and customer service, I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to find D&C Auto Body. From the very beginning, I was treated as if my vehicle was the only one in their shop. The staff was professional, friendly, and courteous, and went well out of their way to see if they could assist with scheduling a rental car and to answer any questions that I may have. The work was done ahead of schedule, and my SUV looks as good as the day it left the showroom. Got an estimate from D & C Honda few months ago. When I brought the car in for repair, Jimmy at the body shop did not want to honor the quoted price. He give me the excuse that the estimate was done by another employee at the body shop and he does not have to honor it. He gave me a revised quote for more than $200 higher than the original estimate. D & C Honda Body Shop should honor their quote regardless which employee did the quote. Needless to say, I took my car to another body shop for repair for much less. I can not imagine this place is owned by Honda of Tenafly. Stay away from this body shop! read more

My brand new Honda Pilot was hit in a parking lot and, fortunately, the woman who hit it called the police because her car had a lot of damage. Her insurance paid the complete repair costs as they should. Since I bought the car at D&C Honda, I decided to bring it there for the bodywork. I had some concerns because of the bad reviews but that was not my experience. I was extremely pleased with Jimmy Best who is the manager. The problem we encountered was with getting the insurance company to appraise the car. One that was done, the car went in and, when I went to pick it up, Jimmy told me that the insurance would only authorize a repair of the bumper cover which he said did not come well. He put in a supplemental claim with them. The insurance company was very stubborn but Jimmy persisted. They wanted to have him use an aftermarket cover but he refused and made them pay for OEM. The car looks better than new. I appreciate all of Jimmy's efforts to fix the car right and he was definitely on my side. I have no reservations with recommending D&C. read more
