It has been over a week later and I still have not heard anything. Yes, I could call and request my estimate, but I should not have to chase down an estimate to spend my hard earned money. I feel that having to chase down an estimate is a sign of things to come if I were to go with the company. This business needs to improve its communication and follow-up. They asked if I'd be "okay with leaving it as is" and did so. Two weeks later they said they couldn't do the mowing because the grass was too high and that's not what they quoted me for. That's not my fault you misquoted me because you didn't think about when you could get out to get the job done. Told them I wouldn't mind if they came out in two weeks, I'd cut it one last time. Cut it, then didn't hear back from them at all a week later. They also couldn't pull the ivy like they said they would (which is why I was quoted so much in the first place) and instead "sprayed" it. It's still out there because it didn't die off and I'm headed out to pull it out myself. I would recommend finding someone else for lawn care. They are no good. Update: The day I posted this, the owner?/Head guy? decided to text me directly essentially saying I was lying / calling me a liar. I haven't seen a single text from him for almost two full weeks when I was asking him how low he wanted me to cut my grass so they'd be able to come out and start regularly cutting. Almost two full weeks! His crew told me they only cut grass on Wed, Thurs, Fri., and this was set up on a Sunday (the day they came out to do the work). So yes, when it was posted WAS two weeks to the day. Not a single text scheduling getting service. No text back telling me "looks short enough" or "needs to be shorter", etc. Literally no word back from them at all. Then, as soon as I post a 1 star review on their business? Wow, all of a sudden I'm getting texts from them again. Obviously you're reading this, and you can try to get it "pulled down with proof" all you want, but the best advice I can give to you, H&J? Communicate with your customers more. Make sure they understand what you are going to do for them, and make sure you understand what they want done. Don't ghost them for almost two weeks and only respond after they leave you a bad review calling them liars and threatening to remove their reviews etc. Whatever "proof" you have, I never signed anything. The only proof you have is the same proof I have: texts. Whatever paper you wrote the quote on doesn't matter if I didn't sign it because we clearly have different ideas of what the job was going into this. But hey, if you get it removed, cool, I don't care. I'm over it. But do better. There's no reason that I should have to write a review to get you to text me. The last text was me sending you pictures of how low I cut the grass and asking if it was low enough and you never responded. For two weeks! Not a single response. So clearly you aren't communicating enough. To their credit: I will admit the work that they did outside of the above stated work did look nice. They trimmed a lot of hedges and got rid of a lot of weeds that needed taking care of. I bumped the review up one star for that. But their communication with the customer is why they are keeping a low rating for me. It was like they were guilt tripping me that I didn't ask them to do something after they did half the job they were asked to do.

The wait time was about 6 weeks from deposit to get on the schedule and then from there it took a little less than a week to get the patio done. We couldn't be happier with the final product! They made some suggestions to help with drainage and to make sure the patio was level. They also planted grass around the area that they did the construction.
