I've had work done on my Hayabusa from D & A before and was very pleased with the cost and the quickness in which they get you in and out, unlike other places in most cases you would have to leave your bike overnight. Had work done today 9 Sep 16, again same results, cost, quality and quick all while I waited. Discovered today that they carried Ceramic Dyno Beads. Had both tires filled with ceramic beads. My ride is much smoother at 100mph plus. Dyno Beads are a balancing bead that replaces tire weights. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop has a family environment and treats customers with importance. Very deceptive with the pricing, got told one price of 150, then got a price of 300 something, the owner Then agreed to 150 to only raise the price to 175, friend went to get my bike for me, told him I did not pay yet, as soon as I sent the receipt they changed the tune pretty quickly. The invoice came out with a 100 dollar inspection charge none of us agreed to. 150 dollars to do the work then they dropped it to 100, on top of that they changed me or attempted to charge me 20 dollars for a can of brake cleaner but in the end it was 10 bucks so they ended up extorting me for 175 dollars to get my bike out from there Ransom read more

Have not had a problem yet with D&A work on my GoldWing but I am not happy with the pricing as it seems deceptive. Explained my problem over the phone and was told one price so we took the bike there. After arriving and without even looking at the bike the price increased $100 but we went ahead because we were there. The work was finished at a reasonable time and we went to pick it up but now the price is $50 higher than before. The explanation was the clutch was froze(even though I drove the bike there) and they had to fix it but they did not call or seek a OK for the repair or additional charge. My suggestion is you call around and get quotes and be sure whatever shop you use understands no additional work without owner approval. read more

Took my brothers Vrod in for a rear tire change. The owner assured me repeatedly that he had the proper tools for the job. When they were finished I checked the drive belt tension and it seemed loose. Asked the owner what procedure he used and was told that he had been working on bikes since he was 13 years old and he relied on that experience to adjust the belt. The shop doesn't even own the $30 belt tension tool that Harley lists as the proper(and only way) to adjust belt tension. So now I get to go home and order the belt tension tool from eBay and do the job I just paid D&A Cycles to do. If you want professional quality work done don't take your bike to this shop. The owner is deceptive and dishonest and will say whatever he needs to get your money. Don't say I didn't warn you. read more

Was told they couldn't even let me test ride it until I had bought it...also called today to ask how much it would cost to true a spoke rim and after explaining what I meant 6 times, the receptionist told me it cost $150 for a tire....I said I don't need a tire...which resulted her in telling me that I might need a new balancing after mounting sprockets on my rims....jesus read more

I saw all the good reviews and after my experience came to the conclusion these may be paid for. 1st clue) lots of people talk about this huge selection. Not sure definition of HUGE but it is not his place. 2nd) Dropped my bike off and they had it about 3 weeks before i got an estimate. Was told when i dropped it off that the estimate was free. When i finally got the estimate it was probably about average of what it should be but to high for the junker bike i was just gonna play with. But since i didn't do the work with them now i have to pay $100 to pick it up. After stating to the guy kevin or kalvin whatever it was that he told me "oh well its only free if you end up doing the work with us we just build that in to the price" when i told him that's fine ill just be leaving this review i was told "don't threaten me with google reviews everyone one knows that no one does free quotes without the service" Not a treat its a fact that's why google is here and no i don't live there in Macon but in Dallas they do free quotes as a part of GOOD customer service and getting people in the door that's why i went there originally instead of hauling broke all the way back to Dallas is what i replied and then was told "well its $100 if you want the bike back" and then hung up on. I run business and understand the cost involved in different things like quotes but good customer service and chalking things up as a cost of doing business is a part good business to keep customers coming back. I own three bikes now and i will not be taking them back here for any service i need. read more

Part 2: This business contacted me the following morning after I posted the original review. Stating that the tire was balanced and that they do have the necessary equipment needed to do this. I can not confirm nor deny these statements. Instead I agreed to take the wheel back off of my bike and to a THIRD place to make my assumption more precise. I found that I was correct in the matter. When taking the wheel to be rechecked by other shops I did not disclose any information regarding this situation ruling out all bias. I simply asked the shop to check this wheel for balance. Conclusion: The old saying "you get what you pay for" currently and unfortunately remains true. This place is the "cheapest in town" for a reason. read more

I know for a fact that this business has a tire balancer as I have specifically asked to see it. My tire in fact was balanced but it had a factory defect! WHOOPS! They replaced the tire for me with no issues. I've seen George around town. He has a zx-10. 2008 maybe? I watched him at another business try to complain and put down their services solely because they didnt give military discounts. The business wasnt having it and basically told him that they didnt need his business and to take it elsewhere. I have had NO bad experiences at this business and i will continue to take my 2009 honda cbr 600rr here for any and all of my needs whether it be parts, a big repair or just an oil change. read more
