I can't speak highly enough of her. She's caring, professional, definately has working knowledge of dog behavior and we can rely on her, even when we had to make a schedule change on short notice due to an unexpected work trip. Our Lab just loves her, and waits for her patiently as soon as she senses it's about "that time" (with the same precision as "it's dinnertime!"

Why is it so hard to find someone that knows how to properly give a cat a haircut?! Regardless, I did my research a few years ago and saw mostly stellar reviews as far as dog grooming at Pom. Found only a few reviews from cat parents, and those were all 5 stars. Reasonable pricing and reasonable proximity to home. Decided to give it a shot and bring my 11 month old Ragdoll in for a lion cut. Yikes. I never had a long-haired cat before but knew that this was not what a fresh cut should look like! Not at all what I had requested, completely choppy with lines and unevenness all over. Plus a few cuts! Poor Tila I don't understand why she trimmed her tail at all... It was not tangled, matted, or anything. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I did my best in going in with texturing shears to blend a bit and get rid of some blockiness. I wouldn't want to bash any small business, but my intention is to help inform anyone with the difficult task of searching out a cat groomer. This ain't it. Looks like people are very happy with the dog grooming, but they don't seem to have enough cat experience. Thankfully hair grows and we've since found Tila's forever stylist after this awful first haircut.

I would give Tamara a million stars if I could. My dog Reese is people and dog reactive and very…read morehigh energy. We have worked with trainers to manage his reactivity, and he has improved so much with us - but he absolutely would not let anyone else come near him to put a leash on and walk him. We couldn't figure out what to do with him while we worked because no one could really get near him. We tried 4 other walkers over 5 months and I truly lost all hope - he HATED them all. I reached out to my trainer in desperation, who recommend Tamara. Even after explaining my dogs behaviors and failed walkers, she was still willing to take on the challenge. She came over to meet Reese and just sat on the floor with a million treats until he was comfortable. She then did this for every day he needed a walk until he was comfortable. She has been walking Reese for about 8 months and sometimes he even still has a freak out on her when he has off days. She never gives up on him, she is always patient with him and she even brings other dogs with her to socialize him on walks. Not to mention she has learned his triggers outside and avoids them or manages Reese's behaviors on walks. I do not know what we would do without her. I never would have imagined that Reese and her could be besties now - she even came to his birthday party. If you have a reactive dog, I would not trust anyone else walking them besides Tamara.

This would put animals at risk if they used our property. The owners of the business need to put an airing station on their own property. At present access is blocked to the business's own property for the dogs to use. Please be kind. We have grapes and other things growing on our fence and its area.
