Dr. Wang and his wife Pamela are really nice. It's a small place, but that doesn't mean that they don't have big hearts for your furry family members! Their waiting room has a big wall filled with pet pictures and thank you cards expressing patients' love and appreciation for their vet. :) I have been there several times throughout my dog's life, and it seems like 1 out of every 2 times that I am there, there is another patient in there raving about how wonderful they are and how happy they are to have such a great vet who takes so much care of their animals.
They are really sweet and gentle with your pets. You can go into the examining room with your pet if you want also! I think this is a great bonus so you can really see how your little one is treated. Both Dr. Wang and his wife are very patient and polite with your fearful pet.
My dog gets her regular check ups here, teeth cleaning under general anesthesia, vaccinations (rabies, etc.), any bloodwork, heartworm checks, and other treatment as needed (i.e. one time she constantly had diarrhea for a few days straight, and another time she was vomiting every few days...so they took care of that).
They do not do unnecessary treatment at all - if you inquire about something they will educate you about it and determine whether or not your pet needs it. Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable and intelligent - this is apparent when he explains everything to you.
If you ever call and they don't answer, just leave a message on their answering machine - they will be sure to call you back immediately! I think they are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays...
It's worth the drive to bring your pets here! (They have a big private parking lot, too!) I would recommend them over and over again. Best vet ever :) read more
