It has been some time, but wanted to share because there is just not enough info out there for people looking for cat groomers! Why is it so hard to find someone that knows how to properly give a cat a haircut?! Regardless, I did my research a few years ago and saw mostly stellar reviews as far as dog grooming at Pom. Found only a few reviews from cat parents, and those were all 5 stars. Reasonable pricing and reasonable proximity to home. Decided to give it a shot and bring my 11 month old Ragdoll in for a lion cut. Yikes. I never had a long-haired cat before but knew that this was not what a fresh cut should look like! Not at all what I had requested, completely choppy with lines and unevenness all over. Plus a few cuts! Poor Tila I don't understand why she trimmed her tail at all... It was not tangled, matted, or anything. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I did my best in going in with texturing shears to blend a bit and get rid of some blockiness. I wouldn't want to bash any small business, but my intention is to help inform anyone with the difficult task of searching out a cat groomer. This ain't it. Looks like people are very happy with the dog grooming, but they don't seem to have enough cat experience. No need to find another groomer. Pom Pom is here for you ! Very welcoming and nice people. Angie took care of me as it was Chucks first time. Treated me like family and because of that I'll be back. Took about 2-3 hrs just as they had mention. I would recommend making an appointment. Cash and or Quickpay/Venmo no CC. I'll be back thanks Pom Pom. The worst place I have ever taken my dog ​​to, they gave her a super uneven haircut, and apart from how horrible the haircut was, my dog ​​came back with fleas, the place was dirty and looked poorly maintained. read more

Excellent service and wonderful customer service. They do a great job at comforting and grooming my dog. Every other place I ever took my dog for grooming had him come back almost traumatized however whenever I've brought him afterwards he is his normal energetic self. read more

A warm and homey place which is a reflection of the owners, Angie, and her mom in law, Virginia. We brought our 17 year old cat, who has never been professionally groomed, to Pom Pom because his fur was getting matted. Angie confidently and tenderly groomed him and clipped ALL his nails. I'm sad to write this. I didn't really want to write this because I rather not think of it but I took our 6 month old puppy and was cut in several places. I don't know if it's common because he squirms but I'd still would never go back there. I wish I would have taken photos but I was so upset that I didn't want to think of it. Our puppy didn't seem harmed in the beginning because his hair is really curly but when we got home, my husband noticed several small cuts near his eyes. Also, I asked for a trim but she really cut his hair really short. His hair was matted in several place so I understand but it was only matted towards the bottom, not the top so it shouldn't have been that short. However, I wasn't offended by it at because he still looks cut regardless of the cut. The only reason I'm writing this review is because our pediatrician encouraged us and it hopes that they get better. read more

My mom recently took my dog here. We like that this place only takes one dog at a time. He had been here before, and he seemed to like her so we wanted to give her one more chance. We asked to her please not shave/go as short because my dog becomes very irritated with short fur. (His fur is thick) My dog came back, about 50 percent shaved, 25 percent not cut at all, and 25 percent cut so short, it could almost be shaved. This poor dog has bald spots everywhere and has been so irritated the last few days. I've never seen my dog look so bad. He looks like he was in a fight with the way his hair is so uneven in so many different places. His "mohawk" is one half bald spot followed by a bunch of uncut fur that falls into his eyes. Absolutely Awful Angie! is what this place should be called. I requested a very specific haircut for my puppy. She completely disregarded my request. And did whatever she wanted. She is obviously incompetent. Could of at least called me and ask if I wanted my puppy completely shaved bald. I could of shaved my puppy at home if that's what I wanted. SMFH read more

Wow so impressed by Angie's teeth cleaning!!! My dog has a few medical conditions that prevents her from going under anesthesia so I needed a nice teeth cleaning and Angie did GREAT! my dog is very hyper and anxious but did wonderful at Pom Pom grooming. I am so happy with the results! read more

We have been taking all of our dogs here for over 20 years. The owner is delightful, intuitive and attentive to the dogs' needs. She has specialists who come in to work in their teeth as well. I would recommend PomPom to anyone who asked about a local groomer. Definitely A+. read more

I really like how flexible Virginia is about taking appointments. I can count on her to get my dog in for an appointment last minute. I think she's reasonably priced, my dog likes her and she really listens to my requests on how to trim him. I find it strange that Pom Pom has three great reviews and one negative, from a 26 y/o, that felt they needed to tell about their background and how they were treated. Who cares about what you do? If you were unhappy about the service, then express what that dislike was. This platform is to advise future customers what your experience was about. The question is, did you approach them with who you are and what you've accomplished, or was it about your pet? You did fail to mention that. But because of the really good reviews from others, and their positive experiences with their pets, I will be sure that my relative continues to patronize this establishment. read more

We could not be more pleased with Pom Pom Grooming! We had been recommended to give them a call to service our Stafford Terrier when other places would not. Although they were friendly they could have cut my dog better, they did a terrible job and I could have cut my dogs hair better than how they cut him,in addition to that they accidentally cut him and upon returning to pick him up he looked very frightened and scared.Overall my expectations were ruined and my dogs hair was cut bad. read more

I needed to get my cat shaved to get rid of matting fur. Angie did a great job with my cat, who had never been groomed before. Angie was gentle and kind the whole time. The owner was also there and gave me some good tips as we were talking. I was so happy with the result. The price was reasonable. They don't take credit cards, but that was not a big deal. I have two babies Crystal and Kayla their my Maltipoos throughout the 10 years Crystal will let me give her a haircut. I think she knows she's going to feel better. My Kayla she turns into a snake and slithers away. I decided to get professional help LOL LOL. I called and talked to Virginia she explain the services that they offer. Virginia even offers teeth cleaning. And her prices are sooo reasonable. I crossed my fingers and made an appointment.
