The community center has a large pool with lap lanes and diving boards and a smaller pool with slides for the kids. There are indoor basketball courts, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and a huge selection of gym equipment. We have free weights, rooms for yoga and karate classes, stationary cycles, and the list goes on and on. There are all sorts of activities from Murder Mystery dinner nights to Arts in the Park and so on. Living out here is a breeze with the community center to keep active, but before you get all happy about coming here, you should know that you have to live in the community to be a member. They don't let any Tom, Dick or Harry just walk in off the street and start using the equipment. So buy a house out here, and you'll have great use of a fantastic gym. Otherwise you can just look through the window and see the smile on my face as I work up a sweat.

I can see stars at night as it was 100 years ago, it's quiet, clean and best of all an overall steal of a value. we have lived here since July 2020, started our first build in nov 2019. base price of a 2,426 sq ft home at that time was 231,990. that same home today, July 2024 is still only 391,990. I know what you're thinking but really think about that. it's still a great deal. I follow the towns meetings on you tube and the surrounding development and this area is up and coming for some major growth residentially nearby and commercially. the town has and applies a good amount of resources such as police and fire response and community activities. I read that Florence, AZ is the safest city in all of AZ - I believe it. the community has a bunch of parks and green space for children and adults alike. I'm sure it's still a ways away but there is and has been a bunch of talk of the north south corridor highway going past the community which will make that 30 min drive to Costco more like 20 there is currently a big commercial parcel for sale in back of the new circle k (maybe a fry's grocery store to help offset Safeway across the street?) I'm a fry's guy - one other review on here states that parking in the road has become a problem and I agree, this would b my biggest complaint - hopefully this review helps someone

Joe in maintenance deserves a special mention--he is always kind, helpful, and reliable. There are vacation rental units here as well. Sometimes those bring unpredictable guests. That's more the nature of short term vacation rentals. The long term rentals residents are friendly. The challenge has been with management and billing. At move-in, I was asked to pay $225 in pet fees, and they'd refund them later when their system was fixed, even though I had an approved ESA. Under the Fair Housing Act, those fees were unlawful, and I respectfully declined to pay them. Since then, I've been charged pet rent fees across numerous billing cycles, with management attributing the problem to "system issues" (perhaps Entrata). Unfortunately, money has even been taken from my account for pet rent over my authorization. Despite acknowledging the mistake, management has refused to refund my money, and there are no safeguards in place to keep it from happening again. My communications are often met with silence, and the last communication was basically "don't call us, we'll call you" when it's fixed. So far, 4 billing cycles in and it's not fixed. My lease terms are also stricter than most--rent is due on the 1st and considered late by the 2nd, with higher fees (special provisions) -- while other tenants have until the 5th. This feels uneven and unfair. I want to emphasize that I love my condo and community here. Avenida is a wonderful place to live, but I sincerely hope management improves its billing practices, communication, and fairness. Fixing these issues would make it an outstanding place to call home.

I called the landmark offices during office hours five times in two days and asked for a return call. my check in was going to be a late check in and I wanted to make sure there was someone there to give us the keys. After five attempts they never returned my call. We asked for it to be fixed and the person who came disconnected the wiring to the modem. That was hard to believe. The water occasionally will stop and then all of sudden come firing out of the faucet. There frequently is someone parked in our parking space and we send them emails and call the office and nothing happens because then there is a different car parked in our space. Then one day I find a warning sticker (see photo) attached to my car! Also read the lease carefully and make sure everything they say to your face actually shows up in writing because we were told one thing and then the actual costs steadily increase because they were not in the lease. Bottom line, find a different place to rent from.

Maintenance man on staff had a dolly and ladder for us to borrow on move in. The apartment was in perfect shape. The are not appartments. They are more similar to single level casitas. They all have premium appliances, walk in showers, granit countertops, back yard patios... In addition, they have valet trash service from your front door and dumpsters on-site to facilitate moving and dispose of larger items. The property is quiet, professional and clean. This is home.

She was wonderful to talk to, so kind, and provided me with a great tour and answered all of my questions. The Canopy is nothing short of amazing and I felt right at home. Walking into the one bedroom home I immediately was in awe of the openness, high ceilings, and fine finishes. After living in apartments for so many years it is wonderful to see that these are single level-detached apartments that are similar to and give you single family homes vibes. Beyond the homes I love that there are hammocks and a fitness center, which is well equipped with pelotons, free weights, and elipitcals. I can so see myself living and relaxing at the Canopy! I can't wait!

Had a charity event held here one Sunday afternoon…read more The club has a very large function room with glass on 2 sides, and overlooks the pool. So throughout the function we had to look at half naked people splashing around. And not the half naked people you want to look at either. Food was ok-good, atmosphere seems dated grounds and surroundings were well kept. The highlight of the place is the restrooms which are decorated by the womens club. They did a really good job and they are really great. Seems like you are in a first class cabin on an ocean liner.
