We really had an awesome time from the food, petting zoo, and safari. The buffet was nice for the price. I will go next time on a completely empty stomach, having Starbucks prior to ruined my appetite. I will try the steakhouse and Tavern next. Beautiful and well manicured grounds. Animals are extremely cared for. Just a wonderful family space.

Could not have asked for a better way to end a long day of shopping!! The resort is impressive and speaks for itself. Ambiance and privacy of steakhouse is top notch. Food and service was specialized for each customer, amazing. Reservations are recommended, manager was excellent. Thank you for experience.

Awesome spot! If you're looking for some family fun and good food definitely go check out the Lodge. The animals are great, the petting zoo is cool, and the shopping and restaurant are fantastic. Be sure to try the Highland Cattle-shaped cupcakes!

Ask the Community - Cypress Point

We are planning to bring a small group to eat Saturday night. We have some people that don't eat seafood. Can we have some people order buffet, while others order from a menu?

That is exactly what we did. Half our 12 person party ate buffet while the rest ordered from the steakhouse! Have fun! It's a great place! Try the cheese!!!

The waffle maker dispenser was broken so they had premade cups sitting out. I don't really like grabbing open containers because if you travel as much as I do you'll see people coughing and sneezing all over the place. True, other stuff is the same but I just get some false sense of security with covered items. But otherwise not a whole lot of complaints. It was walking distance to a lot of restaurants.

This is the first hotel review I have ever felt compelled to write. Over the years, I have had…read moreseveral less-than-ideal hotel experiences, but none that warranted a public review. Unfortunately, my recent experience with this property and Marriott's customer service process left me with little choice. To be clear, the hotel itself is perfectly acceptable. My family has stayed here multiple times. The property is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. My concern is not with the facility itself, but with the complete lack of communication and customer service from hotel management and Marriott's corporate support system. After an issue with our stay, I spent more than a month attempting to contact the hotel manager, Kimberly Jones, to discuss the situation. I called the hotel on three separate occasions and was informed each time that she did not have a voicemail set up. I was advised to contact her by email, which I did on three separate occasions. None of my emails received a response or even an acknowledgment. After weeks of trying to reach someone who could assist, I was informed by Marriott that our request had been denied by the hotel manager--the same manager who never responded to any of my attempts to communicate. Whether the decision itself was right or wrong, the absence of any direct communication or explanation was disappointing and unprofessional. For full transparency, our situation involved circumstances in which we were not entirely without fault. I understand that policies exist for a reason, and I recognize that businesses cannot accommodate every request. However, customer service often requires evaluating situations individually, and exceptions are made every day when circumstances warrant them. I genuinely believe our situation deserved thoughtful consideration and, at the very least, a response. Equally frustrating was my experience with Marriott's corporate customer service. Rather than helping resolve the issue, I was repeatedly redirected to different phone numbers, email addresses, and departments without receiving meaningful assistance or accountability. What troubles me most is not necessarily the final decision, but the process. Customers should not have to spend weeks attempting to reach a manager only to receive no response whatsoever. Respectful communication is a basic expectation, especially when a customer is making a good-faith effort to resolve a concern. As a result of this experience, my confidence in Marriott's commitment to customer service has been significantly diminished. We will certainly not visit this hotel again and don't intend to stay at any Marriott property moving forward. I hope this review encourages both hotel management and Marriott corporate leadership to take a closer look at how customer concerns are handled. It will be interesting to see whether a public review receives the response that repeated private communications did not. Summary of our situation: Our reservation was for Saturday night. Because there was a possibility that the athletic event we were attending would be canceled due to weather, with a final decision not expected until Saturday morning, we canceled our reservation through the app at 11:15 p.m. on Friday, believing we were doing the responsible thing if the event did not take place. Once the event was confirmed, we rebooked the same hotel the next morning--approximately eight hours later--and stayed there as originally planned. Unfortunately, we did not realize the cancellation policy required 48 hours' notice rather than 24 hours. I requested a one-time exception since we ultimately stayed at the hotel and paid for the room that night - not an unreasonbale request. However, Ms. Jones apparenlty denied the request, resulting in us being charged for two nights when we only stayed one. As repeat customers, I expected at least the courtesy of a return communication. The fact that the one person who could address the issue chose not to respond speaks volumes about the level of customer service we received.

Pleasantly Surprised…read more My stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise from the moment I booked. I reserved the room through the app as a Gold member, which comes with a few perks, and since I only needed the room for one night, the process was simple and convenient. I arrived around 3:00 PM and was greeted promptly by the front desk. I planned to check in at that time but was told it would be about five more minutes while they finished preparing the room--no problem at all. I decided to head to the conference I was in town for and returned later that evening around 7:30 PM. At that time, there was quite a crowd checking in and only one person working the front desk, which resulted in a short wait. Despite that, the check-in process went smoothly. I was informed that the in-person room rate was higher than what I had booked online; however, as a Gold member, they honored the original price. That genuinely surprised me, as I've never experienced that level of consideration before. Once in the room, there were a few details that kept the stay from being a full five-star experience. Upon entry, there was a noticeable damp, stuffy smell--possibly due to the apartment-style layout. Additionally, a bit more attention to cleaning would have helped: there was a broken fingernail on the floor, hair on the sofa, and a food stain on the dresser. Nothing major, but noticeable, especially since I had been told the room was being cleaned several hours earlier. From that point on, however, everything was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was a standout. While it was standard hotel fare, it was clearly prepared with care and had great flavor. On a cold winter morning, the hot breakfast, along with coffee, tea, juice, muffins, oatmeal, eggs, and a full breakfast bar, was both comforting and impressive. Overall, aside from those few minor issues, I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay here again. With a bit more attention to detail in room cleaning and additional front desk staffing during peak check-in times, this hotel could easily deliver a consistent five-star experience.

To be fair, Jackson, MS wasn't my destination, it's simply a great midpoint for me to rest when I'm road trippin' between Dallas and Atlanta. The Good: The hotel is relatively new and It's conveniently located near the University of Mississippi Medical Center and VA hospital. A few restaurants are within walking distance, which is a plus. It's also pet-friendly, which is fabulous since my fur babies love a good road trip. Also, the staff is really nice (shoutout to Francine!) The not-so-Good: There's an appearance of clean in the rooms, but not really. On my last stay, I was greeted by couch stains, rusty shower, and some leftover "mystery gunk" in the kitchen sink. It's the second time the TV didn't work, and the fourth time my digital key failed. The entire fridge moved around the kitchen whenever I opened it, LOL. Also, the lobby can get quite loud, since it occasionally turns into a hangout spot for large groups. Know before you go that the surrounding area can feel a bit mixed and while I've never felt unsafe, staying aware is a must. Pet owners, take note: The designated dog areas can get very messy since not everyone picks up after their pets and the hotel doesn't seem to maintain these areas well. If want your pup's paws clean, you'll need to find another spot for walks. Bottom line: When the price is right, this a decent option for an overnight stay. Just know there are some "quirks", and plan accordingly. Happy Stays!

What should have been a meaningful trip turned into one of the most stressful and unbelievable hotel experiences I've ever had. When my wife mentioned room issues at checkout (hair everywhere, clogged tub, bloody towels), the supervisor didn't listen--she escalated. She accused us loudly of trying to leave without paying even though our payment was already pending. Guests were watching. It was humiliating. She then called the police. For no reason. The officers were respectful, but the situation caused emotional distress, triggered PTSD, and disrupted our scheduled visitation with our son. We left the property thinking the nightmare was over. It wasn't. The very next day, I received a Cash App alert showing a $159.52 charge from "Spark by Hilton" on a card I used back in JULY. That card was NOT on my December reservation, NOT authorized, and NOT presented. The only way this happened is if an employee went into past records and manually used an old card. That is financial misconduct. Period. I have filed a corporate complaint, opened a financial dispute, and will be moving forward with legal action. I've traveled extensively as a veteran and as a parent of a medically fragile child. I've never seen anything like this. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Not until Hilton addresses the misconduct inside this building.

There is only one set of old ass Superchargers at the janky outlet mall. Getting in and out of that mall is mind numbingly frustrating. The traffic coming from Ridgeland into Pearl (where the SC is located) is always backed up. It sucks so bad. Sometimes it's ten mins to go one mile. Why is this relevant? I chose this hotel so I could charge overnight and not have to use the SC in Pearl. I arrived to find them all out of order, possibly never fully installed. Despite that it was clearly advertised as having a charging station. So I check in, dangerously low on energy and go to plug my car in. No power at any of the stations I tried. I go and ask the front desk lady and she says, "yea they work, try another one". Stupidly I listen to her and then the real frustration sets in. I now realize I have to drive to Pearl and sit there and charge. See above. Not to mention the POS chargers limited me to 75kW max on that visit. Lovely. Room was fine after my anger subsided. I would have actually enjoyed my stay had I not felt duped. AC units were extremely loud though. Breakfast offerings are so bad. I don't know who eats this at a corporate level and says "Yep!
