I finally found a Dr. who listens. Saw Dr.Bui a few years back when I needed to get a second opinion. The wait time was long but I did not mind. Went back to my regular Dr. which made me realize I made a mistake and started going to Dr. Bui again. The staff is not the friendliest at times but I'm not there to be smiled at and chit-chat. I am a first time patient here, I had an appointment, arrived to my appointment and wasn't greeted by a Hispanic woman with black hair that was on her phone and couldn't even look up to say HI, welcome in, I'll be with you in a second nothing. what I did get was a horrible attitude. I am a young adult who is getting out into the world and trying to figure things out to keep up with my health. i have been having some issues going on with my body and in this economy my mom could not take off work to take me so I decided to go alone. I am glad my mom didn't go because she matches energies 10 fold and that lady is going to run into the right one, one day. When I made it to the back and got checked in everything was smooth sailing, the Dr and the nurses were so sweet and professional but the face of their practice is not it. This will cause a practice to go down so fast because patients are already dealing with health concerns and to be treated like your bothering someone who is suppose to be doing their job is crazy. I would highly recommend the Dr and nurses 10/10 but you will have to deal with a negative Nancy when you first get there so be prepared. read more

Went in for yearly physical and waited 1 hr 20 minutes to see dr. After an hour staff member suggested I see mid-wife for my exam which I declined. Dr did not do normal exam that I have experienced 50 years. She did pap and was ready to walk out when I stopped her to ask for mammogram be prescribed, oh yes we need that, well YES !! Terrible service. The RN was pleasant and kind but everyone else seemed inconvenienced to be working. The lady who drew my blood was extremely rude and even talked bad about me in front of me as she was drawing my blood because I didn't have the "common sense to come in and sit in the chair" ( I was waiting at the door after signing my name on the wait list wondering where I should wait to be called back). I love Dr.M. I just wish she was at a better office though or has a change in staff. It takes forever to get through on the phone. Also, the wait is extremely long. Just imagine waiting almost in a hour in the waiting room at 8 months pregnant and having aches from sitting there too long then having to sit in the room for another 30 mins to 1 hour to see the doctor. I wouldn't recommend Dr.bui for any one I chose her only because my sister had recommended me to go to her, I felt like she didn't really care much for anything I had to say, every appointment I had with her I was in and out, she wouldn't really listen to my concerns, I was concerned because my little one was still breached at 33 weeks I had my 3D ultrasound done that was the only reason I new i voiced to my doctor than dr. Bui she blew it off and kept telling me he would turn on his own, whole point to this paragraph I felt like she didn't listen, didn't care, I was just another paycheck to her pockets. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Extremely rude front desk staff, I had to wait over an hour after my appointment time to be seen, the staff seemed in a hurry and annoyed at any questions I had, most likely because it was closing time but I got to my 4:45 appointment on time and it's not my fault I wasn't called back until after 6. The doctor was nice, but definitely not worth it to go back for her to be treated like that by the staff. Absolutely ridiculous. Ok after a bad experience I had at this place I was called in by the manager and we were able to speak about it. The girl who was extremely rude is no longer at the office. Also, I been back here at least four times this year and every experience I had was great smooth sailing. Everyone was very professional and very polite and I did not have to wait a long time. Same issue as everyone else. The absolute worst customer service. Everyone is rushing around, making annoyed faces. The only good encounter I had was with the actual doctor in purple scrubs who did my pap, she was friendly and quick. She even helped me at check out because I was told to go 3 different places. They all look at you lost and are ridiculously unhelpful. The lady who took my blood was really nice as well. Anyone else with blue scrubs absolutely not. One lady even ignored me and walked away, older Asian lady. No one has name tags so being descriptive is all I have. I guess this is why I stopped coming here. They also still have a mask policy in place which isn't an issue but they did not tell me on the phone and will charge you for masks on site. read more

I have enjoyed the courtesy of this office and the niceness of the staff. They send a text prior in reminder and advising to call once arrived to check in. They get you in to your appointment quickly and are very efficient. Any time I've had a curious question or need medicine they are always quick to help! I can ONLY speak for Dr. M.... with that being said, I love her! She is very thorough and she actually cares! I went through a very emotional pregnancy with complications and she became my friend, Dr. and therapist I completely trust her judgment and has always given me options instead of suggesting what she may think is best. I even had an emergency and they called to ask for her opinion and although she was not a dr at the er and was definitely NOT on call she went out of her way to perform emergency surgery on me! I am 28 weeks along now decided to change my obgyn because the fact their in responsible . when it comes to scheduling a appointment etc .. also when I needed my papers faxed to another obgyn , they took their sweet time sending my paper work to another doctor . Also NEVER met Mrs . Bui ( my obgyn ) at cypress obgyn .. I understand they have have other patients but they don't cater to all their patients . Also , they're willing to take in new clients but can't even keep up with the ones they have . The doctor there did a malpractice on someone I know and it caused her to lose her baby definitely don't recommend

I have a 1 year old delivered by dr. A and after my first experience with her I definitely came back to her for my second. I absolutely love her I had such a positive delivery with her with the first time and when a complication did occur she handled it perfectly. Did worry or scare me or anything. She has been so amazing through this pregnancy as well (35 weeks with baby #2) she has addressed every concern I've had and never brushed me off or anything like that I highly highly recommend her. So I'm giving this place one star because I just can't do it anymore sad part is I'm already 33 weeks pregnant! I don't mind wait Time cause I have early appointments and I'm usually 2 mins late now instead of 15 mins early. I've been with 3 doctors the 1st was Dr.M and I loved her she is great, i did lose a baby with her tho. 2nd was Dr.brown and I lost my baby on her watch and she basically treated me like oh well. She also was very pushy about me getting on a form of birth control. Now I see Dr.Bui and at 1st I honestly loved her but she admits me into the hospital WAY to much. As if I don't have to work. She's kinda short but we usually don't have many questions as my husband and I are both in the medical field. Most of these reviews are out dated so I thought I would throw my 2 cents in. I had a miscarriage in January I was treated by Dr. Brown she was very helpful and compassionate. Mind you I had another OBGYN in mind for this pregnancy. Once we were given the all clear to start trying again I knew I would return to Dr Brown if I got pregnant again. I'm currently 3 months pregnant and each visit has been pleasant. I haven't had any issues with the staff, but I must confess I do know most of them personally. I would recommend this office and not read too much into others reviews as most of the staff has been replaced since the most recent review before mine. All 4 Dr's are amazing! Horrible! Poor customer service . I arrived early for my appointment and still have been here 2 and half hours later. It's not busy at all so I don't see the hold up. This is my second time coming here because the first time I had a miscarriage. Now I'm reminded why I never liked this place. Beware. They will refuse to use your insurance for a covered procedure despite verifying that it is indeed covered. They will try to get you to pay for your visit or worse, give you the run around for weeks to get basic information to avoid servicing you. Absolute disappointment! read more

I have been a patient for years since they were at the NW medical center, not just me; my sister and mother also. I've had Dr Muolokwu & Dr Pierson; just depends on who got an appointment available. I've never had an issue. AT ALL. they've both been patient, and my appointment was at 3 pm I literally not joking, walked out at 3:36 pm even did blood work. I'm not pregnant so I can't speak on that experience, but they're awesome. This was my first time at the Jones location, the wait was normal. the nurses were kind hearted; guess they were having a good day. In conclusion, some people take things the wrong way as women we all are emotional so sometimes it may just come off rude but I'm sure it's not harm. 5 STARS AND I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE. read more

I really should've read the yelp reviews first. I switched to cypress obgyn because i heard great things about the Memorial Herman Cypress location. The front staff is extremely rude and useless as everyone else mentions. They're all Vietnamese and act like it (and this is coming from someone who is as well). They have no compassion and sense of customer service. I had lots of phone calls from the machine to confirm my appointment, but since I'm busy with my own patients I had to call back to confirm. Receptionist states she can't confirm the appt for me but rather to do it with the machine. I've never. The lobby does look nice as others have mentioned. I was shuffled around with no clear instructions at all. A sonographer comes into my room with no introduction or explanation. Seeing as this is my first pregnancy I was very lost so I found this to be a terrible experience. Dr. Bui is great but was obviously pushing the optional NiPT test which is for high risk patients. Seeing as I am not a high risk patient I didn't appreciate her sales pitch on paying out of pocket for this extra exam. Patients BEWARE! Money grubbing is the focus of this office. Have went to Dr. Buiyi for 3 years now and the more and more I go, I realize how amazing she is but her staff is very rude. I'm not the only one who can agree. I have a few friends that's come here.It's to a point where I will be switching doctors. There's a lady that sets appointment and is nothing but snobby. I have to bite my tongue in order to deal with her attitude. All of them have their noses up high in the air. Dr.Pearson is awesome, she was super professional and patient with all of my questions. I would like to include that she was not late at all to my delivery! I have had no problems with them... Terrible Customer Service. I received a text instructing me to call the office whenever I arrived in their parking lot, but when I called their number, the call went to voicemail. Since I had to leave a voicemail, I decided to go into the office and found the waiting room full of patients. My appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM. I arrived early to my appointment, and the receptionist gave me paperwork to fill out. At 4:30 PM, I asked the receptionist why I had not yet been seen. She said the doctor had an emergency that occurred when I arrived. The receptionist never mentioned this to me so I could reschedule. The receptionist proceeded to tell me to wait until 5:00 PM to see if they would call me. I was going to wait, but I had another appointment at 5:30 PM. By waiting to see if I would be called, I would be late for my next appointment. I told the receptionist that I needed to reschedule the appointment because I had to fight traffic to be at another appointment. She said I was next after the next patient. I asked her how long that would it be, and she said it could be 20 minutes. I told to her to reschedule my appointment and refund my office visit fee. After I said that, she let it slip out that I had been checked out of my scheduled appointment. One of the other ladies said, "You're next at 4:50 PM". I said to cancel my appointment, refund my fee, and I would get back with them to reschedule since I had to be somewhere else at 5:30 PM. The receptionist told me she would refund the office visit fee. Turns out, the receptionist lied. She did not refund/reverse the charge to my card, and instead charged me for a SERVICE I DID NOT RECIEVE. I DO NOT APPRECITATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CANNOT KEEP THEIR APPOINTMENTS. There should be a procedure in place to account for when doctors are called away from scheduled appointments to tend to emergencies. read more

I visited the office this week for the first time. The office is beautiful and spacious. The staff, including the doctor (Dr. Brown) is very polite and helpful. However, the wait time is EXTREME. The office was very busy. I had a 3:15pm appointment. I arrived at 3pm since I am a new patient and had to fill out some paperwork. I thought by arriving early, it would help. The paperwork is quick and simple. I turned in the paperwork at 3:10pm purposely so that my appointment would not be delayed. Despite being there early, completing the simple paperwork before my set appointment time, I was called back for the weigh-in and urinalysis at 4:05pm, but there were no exam rooms available. So, the nurse asked me to return to the waiting area until an exam room became available. I was still not seen until 4:20, which is an hour after my appointment time? REALLY? What is the point of an appointment if you still have to wait an hour? I feel like they are overbooking, which only frustrates the patients. Based on the kindness of the staff and my experience once in the exam room though, I would've given the practice a 5-star review. However, the excessive wait time truly adds a negative turn to my visit there. Who has time to waste like that? I don't. I won't return for that reason alone, which is a shame because every other aspect of my visit there was positive. read more

This place is an absolute nightmare. If you care about your unborn child do not go here. They are unresponsive to your calls and information that should take only a week to be given takes up to three and four weeks. We had to switch doctors and pay another $2000.00 deductible because of this horrible place. My wife only chose this place because she wanted a female doctor who spoke Vietnemese. JoAnne and Jody who work there, you should both be fired. You two are the reason for all our nightmares. And yet we have complained and Dr. Bui still has not contacted us. Dude just super unprofessional. Went in for a follow up D&C appointment ( surgery was done in Mississippi) anyways- they did an ultra sound and I saw the I guess "Doctor" for like 3 min- saying I have P.O.S ( ovarian syndrome) but not really because I have none of the signs ? Ok- I'm vegan. I'm extremely fit- I eat strictly organic I get all my calories. My BIM is perfect Blood pressure. I don't have ache, never had, no facial hair (these are all side effects ) I'm not over weight/ I'm not not active. Ok so no blood work was done all she had was a picture of my ultra sound with "cyst" which is caused by this ? I supposedly don't ovulate but was pregnant in April and had a miscarriage in May. Also another sign of this disorder was abnormal periods..... I don't have that either and never had. So I walked in to pay 210 for a ultrasound photo and a doctor just assume I had this. Didn't even tell me what to do or how to follow up! I did all my research online! Too bad they're closed today because I'm calling whoever is in charge and employees these doctors. I want my ultra sound photos and a second opinion with a doctored that CARES. I was extremely emotion that day because I was reliving what happened the day they did an ultra sound and we found no heart beat. Do not waist your money. I will not tolerate this type of service and something will be done. read more
