This company posted a "contest" on their social media page with the terms of entry simply being to repost a flyer on our Instagram pages and stories and claimed two winners would be chosen a few days apart. I entered the contest and followed up after the first date they claimed they were announcing a winner had passed without any word. Someone else was named winner - ok. But when I checked the winners profile though there was no post on their page. So I waited for the next date the winner would be announced (July 5th) and checked in on the 9th when again no winner was announced. Imagine my surprise when I was told there was no second winner. Huh? When I called them out on their false advertising they switched gears and claimed a lot of people had entered (so a bunch of us got shafted) but all of a sudden they were determining the winner based on multiple reposts to our pages and stories and that we could delete and repost many times with them keeping track. Note, reposting multiple times was never mentioned in the contest rules and then they tried to blame me for not asking them about their odd rules. Look if you don't want to do a real giveaway pay for promotion and don't try to switch the goal posts and rules when you are called out on your unintelligible excuses. And don't give legal threats because I let others know the real deal. It's not slander to tell the truth about what I believe is false advertising. Interestingly enough they deleted the contest from their page when I told them I'd be sharing my experience. Nothing says "not guilty" like getting rid of the evidence, right? It's all good though because I have all the screenshots. So if you are thinking of doing business with this company learn from my experience. I know I won't ever be going back.

Not exaggerating when I say that this place has changed my life! I have often found it difficult to…read moremake time to exercise, or to stick with a workout plan once I've started it. However, a few years ago I signed up for one of the Park Fitness boot camps (first thing in the morning, three days a week) and the rest is history. I genuinely enjoy going to classes here and have noticed serious differences in my strength, stamina, and energy. The classes I've attended have been welcoming to a wide range of ages and fitness levels -- often, you'll be working with your own individual weights, so you have the opportunity to choose something heavier or lighter depending on how much you want to push yourself, or make adaptations to exercises if need be. The instructors and staff members are all super enthusiastic and supportive, and it really feels like a community. Facilities are always clean, neat, and well organized -- much nicer than many other gyms and fitness studios I've been to. I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance, but if I ever move, I suspect I will find myself traveling farther so I can continue to come here. It's absolutely worth it.

There's no body negative focus on losing weight, weighing yourself, measuring your muscles, or getting "in shape" as a mandate to determine success. It's really about doing what your body can do, and sweating and smiling while doing it! Janine (the owner) leads awesome boot camps (I've only done the beginner one, and it was very challenging for me), and she does a great job of getting diverse, nice, down-to-earth instructors. I LOVE Lizette and her energy! I also really enjoy yoga with David. Overall, the "feel" of the space is welcoming and warm. I feel good supporting a local, woman-owned business, AND I feel good, body and mind, from being active!
