This awesome food truck was featured in Galesburg's Register Mail. It travels around from the…read moreparking lot of H&R Block in Galesburg to Macomb on the square. Usually it operates from Tuesday through Friday (lunch hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner from 5pm-8pm) with later hours on weekends. They have amazing pulled pork nachos with topped with pico de gallo and nacho cheese. It's their top selling item, and no wonder, it's delicious! The breaded tenderloin is also quite tasty, with a well crusted cover and toppings of a sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich left a little more to be desired. It had delicious pulled pork but it needed some sandwich toppings or more BBQ sauce (which you can ask for). Both sandwiches come with greasy fries, perfect for a late night bar crawl. Since it's a food truck, it moves around but they're easy to follow on Twitter or Facebook to get up to date status and locations. Definitely worth checking out!

I reached out to Charles via email and got a timely response. He was upfront on cost-- how much was needed for a down payment and how much his minimum was. The entire planning process was painless. I had an event of about fifty people-- we had a two-hour serving window. Keepin Up With the Jones's food truck came about 90 minutes or so early to prep. The menu we had included: pulled pork, buffalo chicken sandwich, chicken bacon and ranch sandwich, cheeseburger, hamburger and popcorn chicken. Along with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad as sides. I am not kidding when I say everything that came out was great! Everyone was clean plate club. (And that is saying something. Those are some LEGIT serving sizes but the food was THAT good.) If you want reasonably priced, yummy food-- hire Keepin Up With the Jones's for your next event!

The menu had al pastor, asada, tripe, chorizo, carnitas, and buche - a good mix of the classics, and something for different tastes. I only had the al pastor on this visit, and it delivered. We're excited about trying it again and at this point it's going to be our go to spot when we visit the farmer's market.

A delight of a restaurant on wheels that served up some mighty fine vittles! We had a breakfast bar that consisted of rice, sausage and eggs - served cold and in rectangular form. This action was solid! If not for the miles ahead, I would have partaken in the meat laden sandwich. Apparently you can rent this beast for gatherings as well! Everything is fresh from the farm and they even make use out of things like the radish greens - love that! Oh, and I suppose I should mention that these dishes are unintentionally healthy, because they are. This is the kind of food you want to eat all the time not because it's good for you, but because it's tasty. The fact that their menu is loaded with a bunch of super foods, is a mega bonus. Also, can we talk about the truck for a second? Because it's the hippest thing that's rolled down Washington Street since horses were the only mode of transportation! The style is perfectly on-par with their local, farm-to-table mission. I can't wait to work my way through their whole menu!
