Northern Cyclones Youth Hockey : Buyer beware !! Do not play here !! They will give you a set staff but the head coach who you paid for to mentor your kid is overbooked and never shows. Your child will get stuck with some assistant hack who is only coaching for his nephew. You can expect your 11 year old to get sworn at by parents in the locker room after the coaches are the first to leave and by assistant coaches on the ice. No conditioning, no x's and o's and the losses pile up as the season gets going, outcasts from other programs thrive here!! Good luck unless your related to the coaching staff !! read more

Biggest dump of a rink. The locker room floors are covered in sand, not great for skate blades. Not to mention the trash in the locker rooms. It's sad, with just a little effort it wouldn't be bad. read more

Great facilities, great programs and great coaches. Everyone is focused on development. My son attends the program and he is loving it.

Do not go here. Do not pay for their 'academy'. There is no support, especially academically. PLEASE don't make the mistake we did. There is no support academically and they don't care if your child fails, as long as they keep playing. There's also no way to reach the owners or the hockey directors. I tried many times without a response. Unfortunately my son didn't do well his first time with online learning and he had no support. He failed out of school and they just didn't care....as long as he kept playing. read more

We were very disappointed with the Northern Cyclones so called Academy. They are nothing more than a glorified hockey camp that claims to be academic as well. We thought we would give the online learning a chance but there was NO STRUCTURE and or Discipline. They basically were unsupervised during this time. My son had an A average in school when he started and failed many online class during his time there. They will promise you the world about them moving forward in hockey onto the Juniors teams but the reality is that they move players around from one team to the next around playoff season so that their best team will move ahead. The owners were unattentive to our emails and phone calls. Please do your research before you think about such an academy for your child. I do not normally write such reviews but we were so upset I just had to.....shame. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. We recently went here for a public skate, but I can't stress how awful the customer service was. The people running the rentals were rude, and when we asked to use a basket for my niece to skate with, they laughed in our faces and told us they weren't allowed to give them out. I went to a second person for help, and she told me she wasn't affiliated with the rink, but was working at the snack bar. All in all - it was very odd and I can't believe how terrible the customer service was. read more

Horrible. Staff is horrible, dirty no TP in bathroom along with no soap. I told maintenance he added a few rolls of toilet paper but never gave any soap luckily I had hand sanitizer. With the days of Covid and the flu they should get their act together read more

Rink 2 has the worst ice conditions I've seen in years. Passes and icing attempts were just stopping. The kids couldn't see the lines or faceoff dots because they are so faded. You'd think that if you're hosting a big tournament that they'd have things in order. Not even close. I will not return to this rink. Stay away. read more

This place is a joke. My daughter broke her arm during a game on Saturday 6/29/19. We had an hour ride home to the hospital, so we went to the snack bar and asked the arrogant snot nosed kid if he had any ice for the swelling. He said, "No, this is a snack bar, why would I have ice." We explained why we wanted the ice. He never got off his chair, he looked at us like we were bothering him and he stated, why would I have ice. From reading other reviews, this seems to standard practice at Cyclones. I have tried to call multiple times to talk to a manager but the mailboxes are all full. Sad read more

The lady at the snack bar was cold and unhelpful. I asked if she had soft drinks and she brusquely said no. I walked into the rink adjacent to the rink I was watching and spotted a vending machine. And she couldn't have pointed it out to me? What a B. The rink was fine I guess for an amateur hockey rink. Cold and smelly but not unexpected. I'd go back to see a game but will steer clear of the snack bar if the same lady is working there. read more

Good ice and solid hockey organization in-house. Decent snack bar food, plenty of parking, easy to find. I think people may expect to find extensive amenities beyond a basic snack bar, ice, and bathrooms - but it's a hockey rink. Always find the staff helpful. Absolutely serves its purpose. read more

The website says that stick and puck is every Friday from 8 to 9pm. The schedule for August is on the website, "August 30, 2019- stick and puck 8-9." Even on the door it has the schedule posted for rink events but instead of updating the calendar for games or putting on the door that there is a game instead, I drove an hour to play hockey with 3 friends and we cant even play because there is a game that was never mentioned anywhere on the website or on the rink calendar. Im now sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Don't even bother calling either because they wont pick up the phone. Honestly some of the worst scheduling I have ever seen. This is the 3rd time it has happened to me. Id also like to mention how bad the ice is on the days I am able to skate. Frozen snow piles, divots, and being able to see bare concrete without anything marking it. On top of all that the locker rooms are always covered in trash with profanities written on the walls. To be completely honest I would give this review 0 stars if I could. Im never coming back here again, next time I'll go to Conway Arena in Nashua for an extra 20 minute drive. read more

In a remote location, this small cinder block facility has two rinks. There are bleachers from which to watch hockey games but no indoor viewing so dress accordingly; it's cold. The lobby space is small with a few tables and chairs and a concession stand where you can get some food and beverages. Plenty of parking. read more

My son and his three friends went to public skate on 1/11/19. The two boys paid and were waiting for the two girls to pay when the employee told the girls that he didn't have their size skates and refunded the girl's money. He refused to refund the boys' money even though they didn't skate and didn't even leave the lobby. Bad business. read more
