The rink opened it's door 40 minutes before the first game. The snack stand isn't open for most of the morning. The bathrooms for the locker rooms are padlocked so that young players need to walk half dressed in through crowded public areas. The entire operation is a disgrace to the sport of hockey and doesn't even deserve a 2-star rating.

Be sure to bundle up as it is cold on the ice. The push bars for beginners are hung by the side of the rink, and its first come first serve, free. They have a basic snack bar, no locker, but plenty of space on the bench to park your shoes and things. Great place to bring your kid for a few hours of indoor fun.

The rink is shared ice during these times, meaning multiple groups at different levels being instructed on adjacent but separate sections of the rink. What might be most impressive is they actually Zamboni the ice before and after every 40 min session, which makes the ice perfect for a group of new skaters that likely need semi-decent ice at best, but hey, no complaint!
