When I am traveling for business and I have no means to get laundry done, I often enlist the help of a drop off service. I arrived at 7am and there were already several people doing laundry. I walked in to see about the drop off service and the door to the office and closed and locked, despite the fact that they offer 24 hour drop off service. Needless to say, I left very disappointed.

The washers range from $3.50 to 9 for the biggest washers. The washing machine cycle runs 29 minutes. If you opt for a heavy wash, there's an additional charge of $0.50. Dryers are $1 for 40 minutes. Our clothes came out looking clean. The dryer dried out clothes for $1 each load. The space itself was spacious, well lit, and clean.

They have huge dryers that heat like they're supposed to and there's never been a time that they weren't all in full operation. For this reason, it only takes us one hour (after dividing everything up into three large dryers, including our bedding) to finish all of our loads. I always recommend taking your hangers, as their rolling baskets have metal poles and it just makes it easy to store everything when you get back home; not to mention your clothes remain wrinkle-free! What I like most is that the attendants are nice and they keep the place serviced and clean, including the bathroom. They empty the trash bins and pick up the dryer sheets that some customers are so careless in not picking up when they remove their clothes from the dryers. It is a huge liability to step on one and fall; so, I suppose that might be the major reason why they're on it (Idk). What I like least is the parking situation. There aren't a whole lot of spaces upfront or out back on this highly trafficked corner of Commercial Boulevard and Dixie Hwy. If there was a way to expand the lot, they would have even more customers. I was finally able to purchase a brand new dryer, but as convenient as it is to throw a load at night and go to sleep, for instance, it's also inconvenient to dry one load at a time. I can get more loads dried in less time here and I will still come and do my comforters, rugs, sneakers, etc.

She helped me buy a laundry card (which costs $2) and she helped me add soap to the washers. I would have put the soap in the wrong compartment. I used a 6 load for blankets and towels, a 4 load for clothes, a 3 load for throw rugs, and a 2 load for velvet party outfits. That totals 15 loads! It was $21 for the washers. Dryers cost 45 cents for 7 minutes, which is really a good deal because I only spent $4.50 to dry everything, including heavy towels and rugs. This laundromat deserves 5-stars because my clothes, towels, linens, and rugs smell so clean and my heart is happy.

What had happened was, my partner and I fell in love with an Airbnb location that did not provide a…read morewasher and dryer. So, threw a Yelp search. I found Oasis Laundry. It's a bit inconspicuous because there is no branding on the outside, it just says Laundromat. But I did see a van that said Oasis Laundry in the parking lot so I assumed this was the place. I was glad when I walked in to feel that it was cooler than the outside. It's a hot day. So they do have AC inside, but as you imagine for a laundromat, it is a lit a bit humid inside as well. One thing you'll notice right away is they have several washers of various sizes. You could get a large washer medium, or small. They all cost various amounts with these smalls being $4.50, the medium $6.50 and the largest approximately $8.50. I used the small washing machines because I did not have a lot to wash but I needed to distribute amongst three loads. Which ran 23 minutes. What's cool is you can pay via app. They have a QR code that you can scan to download the Huebsch app. From there, you can load money onto the app to pay for your clothes. I was a bit confused about where to put the laundry detergent since I had pods versus liquid or powder. The attendant was very helpful. She came over and showed me what to do and also in what order. Visited on a sweltering afternoon so it was a bit warm but ceiling fans throughout helped a lot. Music selection (80s-90s dance hits) kept me in a good mood.
