The space is great, the equipment cared for, but it's the people that make it special. The instructors are great. They're knowledgeable, patient, and personable. They are constantly adding more value and options for their members. They have a PT clinic moving in and cycle classes starting very soon. I know you might be asking, "but is Alpha for me?" Are you a 20 year old college kid whose never touched a barbell in your life? Alpha is for you. How about a 45 year old mother of 3 who wants to get back in shape? Alpha is for you. Yes, they have weird rules to play to their "this-gym-is-for-the-ungymed-marketing". Like, you can't be that construction worker rolling in with jeans and your boots and your wife-beater. You can't throw weights around. Who cares . . . It's $10. Also, everything is super clean. I am SO impressed with this staff for still cleaning and maintaining this place as if it were in its first week of operation. All the equipment is well maintained, and there is a huge variety. I withheld a star because the dumbbells only go to 75, and in general I wish there were more plates around on the smith machines and leg press. This gym is a winner. The value is unbeatable. The staff and clientele are all kind and respectful. The equipment and bathrooms are clean. There's free wifi. Plenty of parking. Why wouldn't you join?

They offer many different fitness classes and the trainers there are top notch. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get into great shape.

The equipment is all pretty dated compared to the nearby YMCA and planet fitness. It's also twice as expensive as planet fitness with dirtier locker rooms. Another huge issue is the parking.
