All my tune-ups at Pedalinx were professionally done. Pedalinx service has always been friendly and great. Getting the tune-up this year was complicated by Covid 19; demand for bike tune-ups this year went through the roof. I had to wait more than a month for my scheduled tune-up. One of the two gentlemen, with whom I spoke, was also very polite and friendly. However, I visited this location because of a specific bike they had advertised on sale and when they showed me the bike, I immediately noticed it was not as advertised. They had switched out the front shocks, tires, and shifters for lower end components which were not the components advertised on their website. For all I know, they may have downgraded other components as well that I didn't take the time to notice. While it is possible this was simply a mistake in advertising, I find it a little "fishy". When I asked if they could replace the original components, they made it clear that was not possible so I wonder what happened to those high end components. In any event, I walked out without the bike as it was simply not as advertised. As a result, I doubt I will return in the future. I definitely plan to warn my riding buddies and caution them against buying a bike from Pedalinx.

I've been cycling for over 30 years and Peter and his mechanic are the easiest guys to talk to. I never felt pressured to buy a bike, but when I made the decision to buy Peter gave me a great deal. The bike was ready when he said it would be and his mechanic fit the bike to match my body. My new bike has exceeded my expectations and I look forward to many more years of cycling enjoyment.

I ended up coming to Van de Velo after I was turned away from another bike shop because they didn't have the tube that I needed.  Since I was already out and had my bike with me, I decided to head here after confirming they had a tube. On their website, appointments are required, but I was happy they had time to accommodate me. Solved my issue at a reasonable rate, so I'm happy!  I was afraid that I'd hafta head to a park and take a walk, but I literally waited 10mins for the repair.  Good as new! We had just replaced my wife's Specialized bike (had to go into the U.S. to find exactly the same bike) that was stolen so I wanted to "keep up" with a new bike of my own. One of the sales staff, Derry, was really helpful and being a serious rider himself, was able to find me a Specialized bike that was exactly what I was looking for. We have been back in a number of times to get outfitted and all the staff at the store we have talked to, like Ryan, are all serious riders and very helpful and enthusiastic. Great experience!

This place completely and utterly destroyed my bike. I brought mine in for a simple tuneup, and they called me to suggest changing the pedals. I agreed. And within 1 hour of my first bike ride the pedals slowly fell off and it destroyed my crank arm and front chain wheel. My god! After bringing my bike back they very reluctantly agreed to fix it but replaced my very good chain wheel with a chain wheel you'd get in a cereal box. My bike has never functioned so poorly in the years I've owned it. Very incompetent staff. I just wanted a simple tune up and I got back a bike with lesser parts that functions significantly worse than it ever had.

After many calls Trek had the oil I required so I drove down to pick it up at there mississauga location just east of Winston Churchill on Dundas . This is a fairly new and large location that they openmed up recently. Seems like they had a good selection and variety of there Trek brand bikes and a great selection of parts and accessories for bikes , most bike related items . They also have nike techs on staff to do any tuning or bike repairs you require. They were friendly professional and helped me in a quick manner. Nice knowledgable staff , as I had some questions and they seem to really know there stuff there. I really recomend this store and just earned me as a new loyal customer. They seem to have most things in stock and an amazing variety of tools that I have not seen at other bike shops. Great experience and I got my oil.
