Similar experience to the other negative reviews. I tried to cancel my membership when my work schedule changed and could no longer attend classes. It was very difficult to contact them and when I did via phone I was told I could only cancel via email (they don't let you cancel via the online account or mobile app). I emailed very clearly expressing I wanted to cancel the membership, which is the only thing the person on the phone said I needed to do. I received a response later that had an image of a form I had to print out to sign and send to them to be able to cancel. Over a month passed from when I first contacted asking to end my membership and I continued to be charged monthly. I asked for a refund because I had not been able to attend a single class and there was a clear record of me requesting to end the membership. They were completely unaccountable for the misinformation they provided and rude in their response. I enjoyed all my classes with Remy and genuinely was happy with the service initially but I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from agreeing to any type of membership and don't agree to keeping a card on file!! I read through the cancellation policy before I signed up but they make you jump through so many hoops it's like a trap you can't escape from. I felt judged being there to the point where I cried in the bathroom. I left feeling ashamed, overweight and out of shape. I felt excluded from their clique. Great classes, but I mistakenly bought a monthly class pack and have tried for weeks to get a hold of them without any luck. Tried responding to email, creating a ticket on the website, calling their studio (in the VM they say to not leave a message because the voice mail is not monitored), even texting hasn't worked. I had a similar experience as the other negative reviews on here about fraudulent membership charges. I have been going to the studio for about 2 years and initially just used class packs. Recently I had been going more often and decided a membership option would be cheaper. I tried to cancel in November ahead of the busy holidays, following the contract of giving written notice 30 days before the next monthly charge. I handed written notice to the desk employee who said they would transfer documentation to the manager. Then I was charged in December and had to text and call multiple times before the owner finally called me. Then she said they had no documentation of my first cancellation and I filled out an online form and sent it to the store email and the manager of the stores email and received no confirmation of receipt. They did not issue any refunds or honor the cancellation for their mistakes. Then I went again in person to check the status of my membership and the front desk worker said she could not help me because she didn't have access to anything, only the owner did. She said she would tell the owner to call me but I never heard back from them. Then they did charge me again in January and I went in person and they again couldn't help me reverse the charge or cancel the membership. Finally I got a response by email saying that they would cancel and reverse the charge that day. That was over two weeks ago and still no reimbursement. I had to report fraud on my credit card and prevent the business from ever charging my card again to get my money back and stop membership charges. There is no way to delete card information or cancel membership through their app or online. There have also been two other instances of over charges, I was a loyal customer and the owners truly do not fit into the local bend community. One instance, I was charged a no show fee even though I have never missed a class. They said there was no way to track it because my bike was not on, the class was a connect class with Maya where you are encouraged not to turn on your bike monitor. The fee was $25, more than the price of a membership class. On a separate occasion the internet was down and class was canceled without notification and everyone had already showed up. A credit was promised but no extra class or membership price discount/credit was ever received. At this point I would not even recommend any kind of purchase from this business because it requires your credit information to remain on the account permanently. They should be reported for scheming and fraud. read more

Charged me for a month when I cancelled before that month and when I asked for a refund the owner of the studio told me she would talk to there billing department and get me a refund and than I never heard from her again. I tried calling, emailing, leaving a voicemail everything and not one email or call back for weeks now. Definitely don't recommend even getting started with them. Hated it. They're going for a big, fun, immersive and social experience (complete with beer and wine after). They miss the mark entirely. The entrance is filled with friendly helpful staff and deafening noise. When you enter the room with the bikes you get cold, crowded and DARK -- as in they need staff with flashlights to help people adjust their bikes. The bikes themselves are nice and new but are packed in so tightly the bars are inches apart. Difficult to walk between them and virtually impossible to set up without getting into your neighbor's personal space. Think subway in Manhattan at rush hour crowded. And bikes are stuffed into every square inch including up front perpendicular to the instructor. Within minutes of class starting the room goes from very cold to insufferable heat due to all the sweating humans. Air flow is minimal. And, in a town with expensive spin classes, this place is at the top end in terms of cost. So a ton of money for a sub par experience (but you get a beer after). Poor review for the way they handle their monthly unlimited memberships. Owner signed me up for the monthly unlimited membership after a class. She simply swiped my card and said I am signed up. A few months later I needed to cancel my membership and it was a huge pain. Furthermore, she said they had a 30 day cancel of notice for their monthly unlimited. As I never signed anything nor did she tell me this, I was a bit confused. The owner thought she was doing me a favor by charging me for 4 rides the following month, after one of her employees told me I wouldn't be charged anymore. It took about a month, multiple text messages a few emails and one phone call. I gave up and will finish out my 4 rides and not sign up again. The instructors are all great with great energy. The only part I dont like, is the coordinated movement that makes it feel a bit more like a dance class...however, you can opt out and just keep riding during that. read more

CycleBar is one of the best indoor workouts in Bend! I love that the lights are down low, the sound system is incredible, and it's only 45mins! The workout is as hard as you make it and because it's low impact, I'd recommend it to anyone! As much as I love this disco dance party workout, I know what really sells it for me are the people who work there. Kirk and Stefanie are welcoming owners (who you'll probably cycle next to) and they've hired a group of enthusiastic cycle professionals! I love CycleBar Bend! Great energetic instructors, nice facility, loud music (finally some loud music!), good playlists, little touches like cool essential oil infused towels after the ride, and of course fantastic workouts. The bikes are new and smooth. I agree they are a little tightly packed and some additional fans would be helpful...maybe a bigger space is in their future? For me, though, I love that it is dark, loud, and immersive. I lose track of time, sweat like crazy, and feel great afterwards...which is exactly what a spin class is supposed to do. Cylebar in Bend is an amazing workout and an amazing experience. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The bikes are brand new and the sound system is excellent. If you want to get in a killer cardio workout and enjoy yourself this is the perfect workout. A bonus to top off your workout is the wet towels, bananas, nuts, wine and beer. read more
