I shouldn't have to I was ready, and I came in at the same time the other girl came in, sooo why do I need to reschedule? The class was pretty packed for 8 AM on a Sunday, but we worked so many different things and I burned more than 400 cal. The instructor was just super nice overall and did a great job motivating quotes and also demonstrating the moves. They definitely take pride in their studio by keeping it clean. After each class, they go in and clean/sweep the studio. They sell alo mats, but everyone can bring their own mats or rent one. A drop-in class is $10, which isn't too bad. I didn't get a chance to find out about the memberships as I booked through ClassPass. There is plenty of parking directly in front and also shared by surrounding businesses. Would I return? absolutely!

And I know that may be a cliche but it isn't. This is a community gym. The atmosphere is kind and supportive no matter who you are or your fitness level. For reference I am a 30 year old woman and have friends here that are twice my age. I've never felt pressured, bullied or creeped out once. Now let's talk about the staff... Brent. Brent, is the manager and has been since I joined. He has built a wonderful team and as far as I can tell a pretty positive work environment for everyone. He always remembers my name despite the fact that I've hardly ever worked with him directly. Wendy. Wendy is exceptional with members and our community. She always waves and stops to talk to me when she passes. And I'm pretty sure she knows everyone at this point :) I've made friends with many of the trainers here and so will you. Let's see who we've got... Zoe. Zoe is someone I've known for two years now and have actually become close friends with. She is without a doubt the nicest woman I've ever met. She knows a lot about running and cardio, so if you've got the thrill for a race she is your girl! Dan. Dan is a character and who many people turn to for advice about basic movement mechanics and health. Oh and he is pretty much athletic in everything. Just ask what he does in his free time. Haha Chris. Chris is a rockstar. He does classes in the early mornings along with a few other trainers and is consistently a happy guy. He will always try to make you laugh...don't tell Dan I said that. Stacy. I don't know Stacy very well but I know she works hard and is an early bird that loves to run. She has always been very sweet and kind towards everyone. I can't list all the people that make this place great but these are definitely the people that have influenced me the most. For the first year at Oak I worked out almost every day and every day I was greeted with the same kindness and support. Without that I'm not sure I would have stuck out with my journey. I can now do 5 pull ups in a row, deadlift over 220lbs and hip thrust over 300lbs. These are just a few of the goals I've set and reached for myself and I'm so glad I was able to accomplish them in such a place as Oak. If you have toured the place you already now how clean it is and that there are countless showers and lockers to choose from. Equipment is kept clean and ready to use. I hardly see a broken piece of equipment. And if I have it doesn't stay broken for long. Not all gyms are great so if you thought this place doesn't have enough to offer I think I can gladly state that it does. So if you are thinking about joining please don't hesitate. It's worth it. Roxanne and her cleaning crew are the best for this facility. This ensures that everything runs smoothly and that there are no unexpected interruptions. This level of organization reduces the time you spend looking for equipment and allows you to focus more on your workout. Bright inside. 5/5 Equipment Availability & Condition: Limited range of weights and equipment, mostly cardio focused. 3/5 Staff & Customer Service: Didn't interact too much but overall was good. 5/5 Atmosphere & Crowd Levels: Moderately packed; mostly a diverse and middle-aged to older crowd; actually saw a lot more folks in their 50s and 60s at this location than elsewhere. Everyone was friendly or minding their own business, though there were some people actively just goofing on equipment or staring at cell phones with no intervention from staff or anything, causing unnecessary wait times. 2/5 Amenities: No available hydromassage beds or chairs between what was being used and several being out of order. Feel like that part of the black card advertising is a scam because PF does not seem to maintain them at all. They did have a good reclining regular massage chair, but it's limited to 10 minutes. 2/5

Generally clean, decent array of equipment and amenities, and usually friendly staff. Over time, I did think sometimes equipment took a bit long to repair, and the lack of simple basics like paper towels in the bathroom was something I wished they had. I also just found myself having to wait on equipment way too frequently, even when the gym wasn't that crowded because they only have one version of some machines and they have a much older crowd at this gym that likes to just sit there talking or scrolling their phones and doesn't seem very serious about working out. Having to navigate the One Loudoun traffic and parking garages also felt like a chore sometimes. At the end of the day, if this gym were a little cheaper I might have considered renewing after my initial term. But it's 1:1 the same cost as the brand new OneLife in Ashburn that has way more equipment + dozens of locations, open space, aquatics, recovery room with compression, red light, and hydromassage, towels included, and more, with a convenient parking lot only one exit farther down Route 7 to boot. I've actually seen 20+ regulars I knew from TFE now working out at OneLife so I think most of the serious gymrats have picked up on the fact they can get more for their money and jumped ship. Farewell, TFE. You were a good gym, I'll always cherish our times together.

I still consider myself a novice, and over the last 3yrs, I have accumulated some cool stuff. I have an annual camping trip with a large group next month, but I wanted to do a small intimate trip to one of my favorite childhood places. I must say, Lake Fairfax has one big change from when I was a child. It now has a HUGE waterpark that has giganic water slides as soon as you enter. I was a little disappointed to hear from the check-in Park attendant, who had the personality of a disinterested teenager, that the L shaped pool I referenced was no longer there. My picture of laying poolside or chillin in the pool were shattered, because with waterparks, comes tons and tons of young kids.. and honestly, I would just rather not..LOL! Once we made it to our assigned camping lot, I was super pleased at how close we were to the extremely clean rest rooms that were equipped with showers. The camping site was noticeably quiet, almost library quiet, so that suprised me a little. I didn't want to disrupt the flow, so I kept my speaker at a low level. :) All in all, I had a memorable experience at Lake Fairfax Park and I can definitely see myself coming back sometime next Spring/Summer!!

I didn't have to talk to anyone or fill out a form. I just got to go and do the classes. When walking thru the main level, there is a whole basketball court, pickleball court, child care, FULL locker rooms (that are huge). You go upstairs and huge weight training room and group fitness classes. I love Heidi's Barre classes. Everything is so clean, looks so nice and welcoming. The reason for 4 stars is the price of the membership. $170 seems silly.

Most (like me) only arrive on the dot at class time and leave the studio immediately at class end time. It is no secret that I have had insane difficulty with making a single acquaintance at any OTF studio location. My review history supports this too. However, I'll rate up bc the location is convenient enough, parking is free and generous, and I get along w/ most of the coaches. Which is at least the bare minimum that one can ask for. The one thing I dislike about this or any other OTF studio is the insane high prices (for the unlimited tier I pay 180$ monthly) and also even despite paying monthly costs, it is impossible to meet anyone or make even an acquaintance to start. Life is brutal and OTF even more so. As said, to be fair I think this location is OK, and the coaches are friendly enough, most of the time. I will likely revisit but I don't hold any high hopes on forging social connections or meeting any worthwhile folks here.

Walked up through what the company was, what to expect and checked in with us at the end of the class to explain the results chart. We felt fully engaged the whole time during the course. It was awesome that the course lasts 60 minutes and it's easy to work into busy schedules. The calories you burn are based upon what you put into the class, though I burned almost 600 calories for my first class. The only part my gf and I didn't like was waiting after the class to see the prices. The prices are pretty steep, $169/mth to go unlimited. The heart monitors are pretty steep as well $69 for the waist and $109 for the arm band. Apparently the prices vary based on promotions that are running. I went to work to ask my coworkers if any of them tried OT and someone from greenbrier OT said their club rate is $159 and he get's additional for first responder discount. So I started calling around to other clubs, since you are able to visit any of them without extra payments (except for city locations). Overall we had a great time checking out the gym. I like the OT concept and the group of customers they had were super supportive during our class. I am still shopping around for promotions and heart monitors to see if this could be a feasible replacement for my current workout plan.

New Trail is a small cycling studio in Lake Anne Plaza that has a close family feel to its…read moreoperations. The folks here are very helpful and informative, and there are thoughtful little things that make the studio stand out. They have cycling shoes in all sizes that you can borrow for free every time, which you never see at other cycling studios! They also have cold scented towels available after class to wipe off all that sweat and cool you down. Although I've only taken a few of their regular cycling classes, they also have cycling classes that incorporate strength and barre-type exercises, and classes dedicated to 55+ folks as well. I also really like that the bikes have an RPM/calorie tracker and that you get a performance report of your metrics after class. As for the class itself, if you're expecting something similar to Soul Cycle or Zengo, this is not it. New Trail does pedal to the beat of the music, but the focus seems to be more on strength, pushing up hills, and reaching certain milestones as opposed to crazy speed, push-ups on the handles, and "choreography." So if you're looking for a no-frills kind of cycling class, or just don't want to be in a super rowdy or "spiritual" atmosphere, New Trail is an excellent option.

Members are hit or miss but is generally the golden rule across any studio you'd consider. Otherwise, good spot, bit out of the way, that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me that's acceptable as is the commute on my end. Empire is trying to increase the revenue by cutting back on employee pay, which is impacting morale in the studio and will thia eventually drive members to leave. Members options are not valued and feedback is ignored. Bring back the tank tops for Hell week and stop charging for hell and every challenge offered

I truly hope the members are not paying the same price as we do in Clinton. It feels like it was an old gym that OneLife came and bought. I went midday and it was not crowded. They have all of the machines you would need but about half of the machines look like they were from the 90s. I would come again but I think with many other gyms close by, I would think they need a bigger space and more updated equipment.

I pay way too much monthly to come into a one life gym that still has this style of equipment. Maybe because my home gym is for totten but this is ridiculous. This equipment is all older than this gym itself. The gym smells like a sewage drain. I legitimately had to work out with a shirt over my nose and ended my workout early because I couldn't stand it anymore. The layout of the gym is always chaotic as hell. Yes there's a lot of machines, they are all old maybe 10% of what's in here is "new". Studio has no fans, neither does group studio. That makes no sense to me. First time at this location, I unfortunately moved to this area, but I won't be coming back, I'd rather make the 25 minute drive to the Manassas location where is actually clean, and new equipment Editing to add that there is in fact not a single fan in this gym, even the treadmills, don't have a built in fan. My new workout place. Conveniently located and short driving distance from my home. The facility…read morehas a wide variety of weight machines, free weights. Exercise bikes and treadmills. Very good membership prices. Weekday morning staff (Jon and Vicki) are friendly and always greet me when I come in. Facility is clean and well kept. It does have its busy times of day. Opening to 0700 is a good time to go if you want to avoid the busy times. Recommend this place for weight training and fitness. When there is a small crowd in the facility you can typically get your workout done in a good period of time.

I told the…read morefront desk multiple times and left a review. 8 months later there are still worms in the showers. It's revolting that they don't clean the showers. WORMS IN THE BATHROOMS. It's disgusting. Needs to be shut down!!!
