Well, not everything works 100%. I picked up my road bike that was dropped off for maintenance and there was a missed issue. I don't judge a company on a mistake, it happens. Went in here to get some details about the squeaking noises my bike had been making. The lady assisted me swiftly and she was able to oil the parts of my bike that needed it in no time. She did mention that I will need a complete tune up soon, which I will definitely go back there for. The people were friendly, the place is nice and clean, and service was great. Was on a ride and decided to take a detour out of my way because I noticed my rear brake wasn't working it just needed to be bled as it's a hydraulic break. I walked in looked at four employees behind the counter. A lady from a different spot greeted me and asked what I needed. I told her that I just needed some help. I didn't have a rear brake it wasn't working and I was writing on hwy 1 obviously and it needed to be bled if she couldn't do it I would buy a bleeding kit to do it myself. This repair would have taken around 10 minutes, and she told me I had to leave the bike there while looking at me covered in sweat with my helmet and my gloves. Needless to say I won't be coming back there anytime soon if you're just in it for the money and you can't actually help somebody who's also into the sport then that's not bike repair shop I want to support. It's not like I was asking them to do a full tune-up or overhaul anything. I just needed one disc brake caliper bled. I guess I don't know what to expect I'm still kind of new in town and people here just aren't that decent don't be fooled this bike shop isn't either. Do better Treasure Coast Cycle Works and Port St Lucie for that matter. read more

This is a very good bike shop. I've been going there for years and feel like my bike is in good hands. The owner, Chris is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I've always felt their prices are reasonable and Pepito , his dad and Chris are patient and willing to help you. I recently bought a Liberty electric trike that I love and was worried that they might not be able to continue do the tune-ups. But, I feel like anything they don't know, they want to learn about, so that's great. My new purple trike is in good hands and at 81, I'm thrilled with it. Got a flat tire today and took it in to get fixed and they charged me $80. An extra $45 fee cause it's an ebike. Something they could've told me before I brought it in. $24.99 for one tube that Amazon carries for 18.99 but you get two. I had gotten a price for two tires and two tubes with brake replacement on another ebike from the electric bike shop. So for this place to charge $80 to change out a tube is ridiculous. I have a very expensive Australian recumbent bike. I cannot do any maintenance on it. Moved here from NC where bike shop there assembled and maintained it. Moving here, lot of local semi professional riders recommended this shop. They have been wonderful especially since NC guy died and his shop was liquidated. Where I originally had the manuals. While visiting in the area and just before Covid restrictions were lifted, I found Cycle Werks. I purchased quite a lot of bells and whistles for my bike. The gal that helped me was very knowledgeable. Their variety on hand of almost any item kinda' blew me away having come from an area with no inventory whatsoever. When I returned home a couple of weeks later, I called to see about returning some of the items that didn't work on my bike. Absolutely the best bike shop on the Treasure coast and I have been to most of them. I have bought several recumbent bikes and trikes from Cycle Werks since they first opened up years ago and they have maintained/repaired over a dozen of my recumbent bikes/trikes since then - absolutely no complaints from me. They have also provided valuable advice and assistance to me as I cycled well over 70K miles in recent years. Chris, the owner, has always been able to hire highly skilled bicycle mechanics to handle the large volume of business (many returning customers) that he has developed.
