I didn't want to travel too far to the grand canyon this time so red rock was the perfect spot. I'm glad I found this company. They were a great host. From shuttling us from the strip to explaining and getting us all ready for the bike ride. Their guidance was helpful. I enjoyed their hospitality and their genuine kindness in giving us the best bike ride experience. I love a bit of history too so I enjoyed learning about red rock from our guided. I recommend them if you're deciding on an e-bike tour close by Vegas! We even got a gift at the end!! So sweet

Allison and John set us up with well-maintained ebikes and led us on our way. The ebikes were stable, fast, and easy to control. Even the less confident riders in our group got the hang of it after half an hour and it was fun to soar up and down the hills without breaking a sweat. Allison and John were friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning more about the park while exploring the landscape. We also appreciated that there were plenty of bathroom opportunities (maybe one every 30 minutes) and water and trail mix provided. Two pieces of advice- bring sunscreen, and if you are on the shorter side ask John and Allison for tips on how to make the bike fit work for you.

Call and then someone will call you back, never had anyone answer without them calling me back but they always call back. Super friendly, informative, and reassure you that you can do it. And the system keeps you informed of your reservation. Arrival: we arrived via Uber but it is confusing because they share a store front with a shop, so just look for the number on the building. Greeted immediately. Jeep: the drive from Las Vegas to the rock crawling location is a 1 hour drive and it can be a challenge to drive the jeep. Check your jeep because our sway bar was not attached and it was a very hard and dangerous but even on the return with the sway bar attached it is a hard drive. It is also very loud! You are yelling at each other driving to the destination. You take a stop at a store to air down your tires, use the bathroom that is your last opportunity. Destination: gorgeous! And you will have initial panic on your first rock crawling but Tim is very patient and guides you, just follow his instructions and you will be fine and have a great time. Tim takes photos of you so that you remember your trip.

This involves learning how to drive the Jeep yourself, not just riding along as a spectator. If you're not a gear head, this may not be for you. Arrived at 7:05 a.m. at the designated pickup site. Tim provided a quick safety and liability briefing, and we headed out by 7:30. The drive from the shop to the Moapa valley area is about an hour. Driving a soft top heavily modified Jeep is not pleasurable. Our Jeep was not safe and impossible to control on the highway because (as we found out later) the staff had not secured the sway bars for on-road use. Tim was a great instructor. Learning to rock crawl is challenging but completely possible with a good instructor. We immediately tackled a seemingly impossible narrow rock canyon. The experience was exhilarating! After rock crawling, we also took on other terrain including very steep washouts, sand dunes, and a fun sandy hill climb. Overall duration: about 5 hours Value: For use of a heavily modified Jeep and instructor, $900 for two of us was reasonable. Gas station sandwiches and chips were included for a light lunch. Factors to consider before you book: (1) Plan on getting dirty and dusty and smelling like fuel by the end of the trip. (2) These Jeeps are horribly loud! We used a decibel meter app on our iPhones, and at highway speeds we consistently exceeded 105 decibels. We exposed to 100-105 decibel levels for the whole drive out and the return. At these levels, hearing damage is guaranteed. We recommend taking your own hearing protection.

My only complaint is that they don't seem to accommodate groups of five or more very well. We paid extra to reserve a 5-seater, but when we arrived, we were given a 4-seater instead. When we asked about it, our guide told us the 5-seaters were "junk" and difficult to drive. I felt very secure in my kayak even as a beginner and no one in our group came close to tipping over. 3. We weren't rushed at all. Our guide Jordan gave us several breaks, took us on a short hike to get the best photos, and invited us to swim in the cooling water as well. A lot of companies rush you to the Emerald Cave and back, but we were able to enjoy the entire Colorado river experience. 4. They employ Jordan. Ask for Jordan if you go (though we did interact with other Outdoorster guides who were all very friendly and helpful). Jordan had snacks and water for us, took tons of photos, was patient with all 10 guests, had helpful information and suggestions about Las Vegas, and was just a genuinely friendly gentleman.
