Cute shop dog - check Exceptional service - check Drop off the day before - check Speedy service - check Cost - completely reasonable Needed an exhaust and tires fitted to an MT-07, scheduled a date to bring the bike in and dropped it off the day before with all the parts (Tires plus a full system), picked it up on time the very next day with all the work complete. The folks at the Cycle Refinery have been so helpful and knowledgeable during the past couple of months while I tried to get an old bike going again. At one point I couldn't get it to turn on after doing a lot of work on it, and within a day after dropping it off the bike was running again and it is riding better than before. They gave me a detailed rundown of what issues it had and what they did to it. They have also given me a lot of good advice. Update: As when I first took my bike in & it was poorly tuned. Once I called the mechanic argued with me on the phone as to how he did nothing wrong & the bike was just a low end Chinese bike. Basically he took no responsibility for tuning the carb & getting it to bog when in every gear applying the throttle. Well after posting my review, he responded with the same attitude of, 'We did nothing.' You can see it in the response. Again, stay away if y'all have genuine work needed on your bikes... I took a 4-stroke enduro to get rejetted & checked for inspection. The mechanic was short & ride from the beginning, but the assistant was pretty nice & helpful. Long story short the mechanic couldn't get my carb rejetted because he said he had never seen my type of carburetor before. Called it some Chinese piece of crap, which if it is don't tell your customers that!!! Doesn't take a genius. Then he charged me 150 for his time & he said that he adjusted the idle on the carburetor. Well right after the bike wouldn't give much throttle at all, every gear bogs & misfires while the throttle is turned to accelerate. Lastly I called to ask him what the hell he did to my bike & he was argumentative and refused to accept any responsibility on what the bike was doing, when clearly he was the only one to adjust anything on the bike. I did a little research & rejetted my cArb & set the proper idle. The front desk kid is nice but RUN THE HELL AWAY from this shop. DONT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR BIKE!!!! The service sucks & the main mechanic only really knows how to work on a couple of bikes apparently. YIKES!!! read more

I've had Jesse and his crew order parts and work on 2 of my motorcycles in the past year and have had nothing short of exemplary service each and every time. From giving me advice on what tires to use for my dual sport to dialing in the carbs on my restored vintage GSXR1100, it has all been a fantastic experience. I gave this shop two stars instead of just one because the shop dog was very friendly. If you're looking for a reliable bike shop in south Austin this is not the place. I took a chance on this shop because it was closest to my house. After going over my budget by about 40% (with zero communication along the way) I still didn't have an operable motorbike. After getting the bike rolling a few days later I realized a lot of the wiring wasn't even connected (important things like the headlight and brake lights weren't even hooked up) If you're looking for a good bike shop in S Austin I can recommend Austin Moto on S Congress. I pulled over, called him and he was the only shop in town to have a new cable that fits my bike that I could pick up the same day.
