On Tuesday April 28 at 10:22 am my boyfriend called the store and spoke to a female worker. He inquired about a tire and installation. She confirmed that the tire was in stock and installation could be provided. She informed him that it could be done after 2pm, due to being short staffed. On May 2 we arrived to the store to purchase the tire and have it installed. The male employee stated this is not a "repair shop" and he could only sell the tire to us. It's honestly not hard to communicate with the customer if installment isn't available at the time. We had a poor experience, I suggest speaking to your employees and being on the same page of what is offered so this doesn't happen again. read more

****Attention**** Head up to other customers: make sure you fully understand the return policy before buying motorcycle tires from Cycle Gear. I purchased Shinko 777 white wall tires from Cycle Gear and had a very frustrating experience. I took the tires to four different shops -- including two attempts at Cycle Gear -- and no one was able to properly bead the rear tire. The tires were never ridden because the rear tire simply would not seat correctly on the rim. What made the situation worse was Cycle Gear's tire return policy. I strongly recommend anyone considering buying tires from them read the policy carefully before purchasing. Once the tires are removed from the packaging -- or in my case mounted on the rim -- they will not refund your money, even if the tires are unusable and have never been ridden. I hoped the company would be understanding given the circumstances, especially after multiple professional mounting attempts, but that was not my experience. I'm now out roughly $300 and stuck with tires I cannot use. At this point, I honestly feel ripped off and scammed. read more

I've been coming to this Cycle Gear location for the past few days with a lot of questions and a few different purchases. Jasmine, Travis, and the manager Jenna were all incredibly helpful every time I stopped by. They were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure I got the right gear for me. You can tell they take their time with each customer and really know their stuff. Every time I needed something they worked with me to make sure it was taken care of the same day. Shipping to the store was fast too my order came in within three days. They even helped install my Cardo system, which I really appreciated. Overall, they're just good, down-to-earth people. Tire was delivered, but they wouldn't look for it. I had to wait the next day where I asked if they could mount the wheel, they said no one was there, but I could come the next day. Before going in, I called and asked if someone could mount the wheel before physically going in, and they said I could drop it off. I dropped it off, at 11 and they said it would be done by 3. I could've waited till they closed, or just went somewhere else for the amount of time I've waisted just trying to get decent customer assistance. read more

I needed a tire plug kit and was over charged i even told the employee it says $5.99 on tire plug kit and tag on wall and he tried charge me $9.99. Then he changed it to 7.99 i told him again look at sticker on plug kit which says $5.99 and he said he changed it but he didnt and i had appointed and didnt have time to argue with him..then not even two weeks later i come in and employees were trying to avoid me and walking opposite direction even when asked where items were and only responded with over there...i buy chain cleaner, chain lube, and it rings up to $24 and some change..i give cashier $30 and she gives me back change and missing $5 i tell her and she acts like i stole it..really $5 go check you're cameras!!! Had to sit there and argue with the lady then all sudden she remembered not giving me my $5 and gives to me..every time i come to this location have issues. read more

I came in on Saturday to get some oil and left very unpleased. When I was waiting to check out the Manager Damien was being extremely disrespectful to the sales associates has he was yelling and slamming his hands down on the counter in front of about 6 other customers. For me as a customer I feel "manager" should know better than to yell in front of customers as it gives the whole store a bad look. I will not be shopping here again, I will take my business elsewhere so I can have a peaceful and pleasant shopping experience. read more

I called ahead of time to ask if I could replace an item with a different item and pay the deference since the one I just bought has an issue. The lady said sure you can bring it anytime. I drove 63 miles and get there to a standoffish customer service, as soon as I walked in the lady seemed to be checking me from head to toe. The lady wouldn't even let me talk and explain to her the issue, she kept interrupting me and tried to prove that there's no issue with the item even though there was. I decided to avoid confrontation and to never shop at this store ever again. ***UPDATE*** I ended up going back to this store and the two gentlemen in this store are awesome, I mostly deal with Dave who is very knowledgeable and won't hesitate to give you a great advice when you need it. A few months back I got my first street bike and Jeramy was more than patient with questions more than advisable he took genuine interest in my safety and giving me knowledge that at other places would have never been offered. Today October 12 at 6:15 AM I was involved in a motorcycle accident with somebody made an illegal U-turn in front of me causing me to lay my bike down because of Jeramy giving me the advice of what helmet which exceeded the DOT standards advising me to get riding boots and advising me to get the proper gloves and riding jacket I was able to walk away today with nothing more than some road rash and a bike that needs to be repaired and a helmet that needs to be replaced the staff at this location has always been more than cordial and filled with information. In my opinion if it wasn't for the advice in the care and taking interest in their customers I may not of been as lucky to walk away today as I was so thank you to Jeramy and the entire staff at the cycle gear location I will forever be a customer. read more

Been there quite a few times, each was a pleasant experience. The staff there were always helpful and courteous. Even when you're just browsing around, they'll let you be. Anything that I purchased was backed and IF a problem arose with it, I'd get refunded or exchange it with no problems. Granted some of the items are not top shelf, but most do work out for me. Some items must be quality for me and if needed they can order or I'll just go online. Overall I'm happy with this place and will be a fateful customer. First off the customer experience as soon as I walked through the door was phenomenal! I'm a new rider and needed gear to start with. Bryan was the one to help me out and I would definitely recommend speaking to him! He was patient with all my questions and had in depth answers, especially when in came down to how to size a helmet based on my riding needs. Nice but when I first walked in a man named Jeremy started to help me with helmets but kept trying to up sale me a shoei helmet after I told him that I was looking for a bell helmet, after that he proceeded to tell me that I don't know what I need and what I'm looking for and started to yell at me when I told that I just wanted a bell helmet. Cycle gear is just about everywhere. In other places they have meet ups which is great to meet up with other bikers and maybe go for a group ride. I go here for preventive maintenance supplies and gear. They usually have some sort of discounts going on expetually on meet up nights which makes getting high quality gear at a very very good price possible. Any type of leathers or helmets that I need I wait for them to release them at a discount because the discounts are truly unbelieveable. Staff is always friendly and helpful and it is a great place to go for motorcycle needs. They don't do service to my knowledge and if they can't get a part they so well at directing you to where you can get it. Never had an issue getting something here read more
