I went in today only expecting to do a helmet fitting as I had already been doing a ton of research on the best helmet/comms system but Stacy not only clearly knew more and had first hand experience with her suggestions, she helped me find a helmet I'm much happier with than anything I was originally considering. I was going to wait to find a better price online but not only were the original prices already fair, their sale and discount offerings made them unbeatable. I'll definitely be a returning customer. I wanted to get a full face helmet for my girlfriend & so we went to this location. Jose was the representative that helped us figure out the right fit, comfort level as well as some other questions she had about breaking it in. All in all, it was a great experience. My only gripe is that they offer you a good discount coupon online but when you take it to the store, they suggest that it is only for certain products. Meh! Just say so, online too! Plus the inventory for variable sizes in full face helmets is low at this location. But customer service is absolutely top notch! Ordered my first helmet, a Bell Revolver EVO, through their online site. Received it, tried it on, & it was MASSIVE. Emailed them to ask how to return, received a response from Colin almost instantly saying I could return online or in store. Was told there was actually a store right by me! I drove down, returned it, then Courtney asked if I wanted to look at other options. She explained that Bell shells are the same for the mediums as they are for the extra smalls, only the interior padding decreases in size (which explains the massiveness). She then suggested her personal favorite the SHOEI RF1200 which is a lot less bulky for us smaller ladies, & was currently on sale ($100 off). Courtney & the other super helpful lady fully informed me about the RF1200 features & safety & how snug a helmet should fit (turns out I'm a small not an extra small) -- should be snug on the cheeks, but not so snug that it's uncomfortable, & the pads will form to your face over time. They also installed the chin curtain & a Pinlock for me after purchase. All in all, a really positive easy shopping experience with the most attentive helpful staff. In 2020, I'd successfully completed an MSF course and was excited to start buying gear. The sales rep in their Culver store was super friendly and helpful and helped me choose a Sedici Sistema modular helmet and gloves. As recommended by the sales person, I'd walked around the house wearing the helmet so I'd get accustomed to the constraints. This was the only time I'd worn the helmet for a year, before I finally bought a used motorcycle. I took a few private lessons from a man who provided a helmet with a comm unit, so I only really began to use my helmet this year (2022), when I discovered that the Sistema model that I was sold has a defect; the face shield screws often pop off when the shield opens/closes. I recall having it happen to me a few times while at home, but it being my first helmet, I didn't understand that it was a defect until I used the helmet during a Ride to Live course and a screw dislodged, leaving my shield hanging on one side. I never recovered the screw, but an officer helped me to remove the shield entirely so I could finish the course. While searching for parts on the CG website, I discovered a review of the new Sedici Sistema II helmet; where the reviewer mentioned how the shield issue was a major complaint by consumers and that the new model addressed the design defect. My 2 year warranty expired in June (it was August), but I thought that considering I'd only used the helmet 3 or 4 times, I could get an offer to either repair my helmet or get a decent enough discount to upgrade to the new model. The manager, Virginia was nice enough but explained that repairing the helmet was not an option; all I could do is keep buying more shield screws (while they are available). Virginia told me that the helmet I bought was a closeout item and that I should be more vigilant when an item is on sale. She also offered a 15% discount to buy another helmet. I'll admit that I was pretty disappointed about this. The sale price for my helmet was $160 which was a reasonable investment for a new rider. With an expired warranty, I didn't expect a new helmet. However, considering the myriad of online purchasing options available these days, I didn't think that eating the fifteen bucks for a pair of shield screws was a big sacrifice to express to a good faith commitment to a customer who would undoubtedly continue to support their local business throughout her riding journey. As far as the discount, it was a kind gesture, but as a noob rider who is dependent on the expertise of others (like the person who made the initial sale) to help me make the best choices for gear; riding advice, etc. That said, tell me why would I risk making another expensive mistake? read more

Came in hoping to exchange/ return some items I purchased from a different location and pick up a new helmet. I had a bit of an unusual circumstance with my receipt, and the manager (I think his name was Jose?) took the time to call the other location, locate my receipt and complete my return for me. He helped fit me into a new (to me) brand of helmet and scoured through the many, many boxes (that all looked the same) while being extremely patient, personable, and fun to talk to. When it came to checkout, another associate was at the register with him, and we talked for about 15 minutes about motorcycles (there weren't any other customers at the time). Easy parking in the lot, which is always a plus, followed by a good amount of gear in the shop. When we came in, Scarlett greeted us and basically became my guide for an hour as I am brand new to all of this. She recommended different helmets until we landed on one that checked all the boxes and she walked me through the different type of jackets, pants, and gloves and what the use cases for each are. TERRIBLE customer service! A Browser extension offered me a discount code, the store honored the code and charged me the lesser amount for the items only to then cancel my order a week later with no notification because I "took advantage of their promo code offer"! What??? That's what those codes are for, if you don't want your customers to pay a lesser amount then don't offer a discount code.... Penalizing your customers for being savvy consumers is a terrible business practice. Then after all of this I had to fight them to get my money back if you can believe that ridiculousness... ever again, Revzilla and cycle gear or the same company as convenient as it might be for you to use them I strongly suggest paying more money and going somewhere where you will definitely receive what you're ordering. read more

Took me a few weeks to get around to this review, but I had to write it! Scarlet is the absolute best!!! I bought a Comms system for my helmet online from you guys thinking, "oh this won't be so hard to install". Man was I wrong Couldn't find where the speaker go, felt like maybe I was putting on pads and things I shouldn't be pulling on, and was all around frustrated. I phoned in, Scarlet picked up, said it wasn't super busy, and bam!! Within the next 20 minutes (took me 10 to ride to you guys) my Comms system was installed! Easy Peasy. She was super helpful, showed me where the speakers would go (in case I bought another unit for my second helmet), and did everything was a smile. She's rad :) read more
