The theme was "Trap, Twerk, and Booty Werk" and the playlist did not disappoint! You know the class is gonna be hype when the first song is Beyoncé "Drunk in Love". Check in was so easy and everyone was really welcoming. At the time I went, the first class was $10. This location is small since it's Midtown. You can park in the Publix lot for free or do street parking. They do have lockers and restrooms to change, but I believe there are only 2 or 3 single person restrooms so I would just come already changed. I like how you don't have to pay extra to rent cycling shoes like some places. Once in the studio, there are people to help you get situated and get your bike adjusted and shoes clipped in, which was so helpful! The class is so fun that you don't even really feel like you're working out since there are lights and music videos. It's kinda like you went to the club and just happened to be getting an awesome work out in as well, haha. They have a leaderboard if you're the competitive type. And if you're not, then they only show it for like 5 seconds a few times during the class. They send you a progress report email after class to see how you did! I had a great experience at this studio and can't wait to take another class! Work out classes at studios can sometimes be awkward and intimidating but there is none of that at all here, which I really liked!

As part of our "try em all" approach, we booked at Vibe Ride for their first class of the day! Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the staff and quickly checked in! The team all helped us figure out the bike setup (different than what our home studios use) and we were on our way! Based on the friendliness of the instructor and the high energy from others, I was excited. As the class started, I was a bit shocked to see we were using music videos on YouTube as our music. Considering there are commercials/ ads and they wanted to skip certain parts of the song... it was a struggle. After a couple of songs and it not being anything like what I was used to (smoothly run, no breaks in music, etc), I was pretty checked out. I wanted to love this place from the staff and the vibes but my colleagues and I all left saying we wouldn't come back. The class seemed choppy with the YouTube use and the moves shown didn't always seem safe with the stability of these bikes. Unfortunately not a place for me but others did clearly love their experience.

Ken is a huge asset to the business because he is such a genuinely nice, relatable guy. Issues: The music is loud and usually a bad choice, which is inexcuseable. The equipment is old and the entire gym needs an overhaul. The cleaning lady is doing a great job but some of the patrons unnecessarily leave the showers nasty. Some of the patrons talk very loud while using gym equipment, like the treadmill. Some of the patrons talk excessively loud in the whirlpool and gym. Some of the patrons don't clean equipment after or before use. The whirlpool has chipped paint around the upper area. Sometimes there is debris outside blowing around the entranceway and parking lot. They promote and charge us for a HEATED lap pool but the only thing heated is ME when I have to walk under that leaky, rusty, dusty backrooms looking hole in the ceiling and swim in cold water! the women's locker room ceiling is horrendous and nasty! It's been like this for over a two years they even put buckets right under it to catch whatever tf leaks from it blocking egress to and from the aquatic area. The men's pool entrance ceiling doesn't have this problem theirs it normal. This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY only then will I update this review. This is nasty and unprofessional I've been a member of la fitness for TOO long to keep walking under this bs.

I've always felt insecure about my physical abilities, I was the kind of kid who would fake sick to get out of P.E. because I was too embarrassed to participate. There is absolutely nothing to be nervous about inside of Vibe Ride's walls. There are bodies and skill levels of all kinds. Instructors push you, but never shame you. Everyone is just there to become the best version of themselves. All of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. If it's your first time, they're happy to give you a studio tour, walk you through the experience and help you get setup. At every location people have taken the time to learn my name and remember me, it makes me feel like a part of the community and keeps me coming back (even when I fall off for a bit haha). I'm a creature of habit so I attend Daryl's classes. They're positive, high energy and an AMAZING workout, but I encourage everyone to try different instructors and see who has the right vibe for you. Black owned, LGBT friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. Pro tip: Take the 7:15 class so you can get a cold eucalyptus towel afterward. Heaven! Check Vibe Ride out and bring a friend!

The staff was super friendly to my girlfriend and me even though we were running a bit late. We came to this location because Coach Kayle(our favorite Coach) was doing a class there and we want to check out this location. The spinning class is set up differently than our usual location but it was just as fun, the bicycle I used was brand new and that was very refreshing, and the shoes I used were so new it felt like I was the first person to wear them! The location is quite amazing with changing rooms, bathrooms, bathrooms with showers, a hair blower station, and lockers to put your extra belongs before classes. I definitely recommend if you live in the Midtown area(especially West Midtown/Georgia Tech area) and looking for a great work out take a class at this Vibe location, you might sign up for a membership right afterwards!

I'm not a member, but went with a friend for a free Galentine's day workout…read more The premise is that you work out in small cubbies with infrared sauna that cause you to sweat more and have an afterburner post-workout. They offer lots of classes at scheduled intervals that you can view on the app. I believe you can reserve your space on the app as well. While attending the class, you start tracking your workout with the app. I'm not sure if they have their own tracker. There are short classes that you can stack, i.e., cycling, rowing and elliptical that are each 15 minutes each. Each sauna took typically holds 3 machines and you can control the temperature from 110 up to 130 degrees. Other classes like iso, barre and yoga are about 35-40 minutes. The front desk is staffed generally until 7 or 8 pm. There is a code that can unlock it after hours for entrance, as it's available 24/7. Hotworx runs challenges often and winners can receive free or discounted monthly membership fees. There's also a strength training area and a shower. There's merch in the front, including a stream suit to help you sweat more. I like the format of the place. My main cons are that the classes are pre-recorded and they don't change as frequently as I would prefer. Overall a solid place to work out that's self-paced.

The option to have a private sauna to workout and drown in sweat in peace is great. They say each sauna is big enough to have up to three people (you and your friends no strangers) but honestly me and my friend have taken classes together and I think that's about it. You need space to stretch out and perform the movements freely. Even in the cycle and row room I think two people tops is best. This location is the most convenient for me and it's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking available. It's accessible 24 hours and you get a private code to use to get access. It's only staffed until about 8pm most days but I've gone after staffing hours and it hasn't been any issue.

Unfortunately, since I moved and am now a broke graduate student, I haven't had the time to consistently keep up with a studio. I've tried several studios around ATL and since Rukus was opening up a new studio near where I worked, I figured I would stop by during their grand opening. **They are offering classes for free this weekend and if you download their app, you can get an additional 4 classes for free!** Although the studio is located in Midtown, there is a parking garage behind the studio. A worker from the studio texted me the code for free parking a couple of hours before my class (you get an hour and half for free- plenty of time to get in and out). The studio is very clean and bright inside. They don't have locker rooms here, but instead have individual bathrooms with showers inside! The bathrooms are fully stocked with deodorant, razors, and even toothbrushes for you to use! They also provide free shoes for you to use as well. The shoes do run a little small - I had to get a full size up. Unfortunately, the shoes I usually use to cycle didn't work here so I had to borrow one of their shoes. I use a different clip-in system than Rukus does and couldn't get my shoes to clip-in. My clip-ins are a little old though, so I think I'll try again when I switch them out . Plus, thinking back, I think I was trying to clip them in the wrong side of the pedal, oops. Also, a very cool thing about this studio is that they have a separate (smaller) rooms with a couple of bikes. Apparently, if you come to class late, you can enter this room and either take a class through Peleton or join in on the current class through a live-feed. I thought this was very cool as there's nothing worse than showing up late and setting up your bike during class. I can easily see myself coming back to Rukus as it's close to my workplace (and I have 4 more rides to use -yay), but there are a couple of things that I didn't like. I think my bike was malfunctioning because the screen would randomly flash during class and it took a while for the gear number to change after I moved the gear knob. Also, the gear number would randomly change even if I didn't touch the knob - not sure what was up with that. The music was very loud so it made listening to the instructor very difficult. I do enjoy loud music when I cycle, but if I can't really hear the instructor, it kind of takes away from the experience. The instructor didn't really explain how the different zones worked on the television screen. I noticed how the colors next to your name changed at certain times while I was biking, but I didn't know why until I got my stats e-mailed to me after class. There wasn't an option to book a certain bike number on the app either and the bike is assigned to you after you check-in. I'm not sure if it's just the app that doesn't let you choose the bike as I haven't tried to book a bike on the website yet. Overall, there are a couple of kinks that need to be worked out (especially the instructor's microphone), but I would definitely come back soon!
