    Open 24 hours

If staying at the casinos in Lake Tahoe, this is a great place to get supplies, snacks, and alcohol. It is open 24 hours a day, and has many different rooms inside. It has everything that a typical drugstore would have, and their selection is large. The prices seem in-line (not too much more just because it is in a tourist area). If you need gloves or knit hats, they have a large selection. It also has a large souvenir section, for very reasonable prices. It is a free-standing CVS, so unlike the ones in a Target, this one will accept all CVS related discounts and coupons.

Grabbed a coffee for the morning - came in late late. Quick experience and very convenient. I was in the mountain tower next door so I didn't get an in room coffee maker - and the Starbucks is at the bottom of the Lake tower - in the AM I thought it would be good to have a little something just in case. Check out was quick. They only seemed to have self check out available. Not sure how one would buy alcohol - but for me wasn't an issue. Clean store. Well taken care of and stocked with lots of different items. Food, clothing - anything you would need to be comfortable. Don't worry too much about what you forgot to pack.

Funny, I don't see the word "pharmacy" on the sign. Google Earth Street View screen grab.

Despite all the careful planning, the missus forgot to pack the charger and cable for her iPhone 4s. So here we are in Stateline and the nearest likely places (Office Depot/OfficeMax, Walgreens, Home Depot) are back down the hill in Carson City and Gardnerville. On a whim we wandered into CVS pretty certain our luck would be as good as mine was at the Spin Poker machines (let's just say Nevada is richer). And there they were: a USB to 30-pin iPhone cable and a matching charging cube. For less than an Andrew Jackson we were ready to feed her starving iPhone and as icing on the cake the cashier happily cut open that pilfer-preventing packaging that has sent people to the emergency room bleeding profusely. Back at the hotel we cleared the final hurdle when we plugged everything in and the phone began sucking up those volts and amps without the dreaded "This accessory is not designed for your iPhone" warning. It was a long shot but it paid off. UPDATE: Given the odd lack of hotel room electrical outlets in this rechargeable battery-powered digital epoch, we went back for a power strip and 3-prong extension cord. No more charging the phones in the bathroom or on the floor. And MUCH cheaper than if we had found them at all in a hotel gift shop or sundries shop.

Great addition to the Stateline Casino Corridor. Wide selection of food, alcohol, toys, makeup, gifts etc, nice to have something easy walking distance for those staying in the casinos, and with more choice than a casino gift shop, prices are good too. *There is parking in the back.

I just want to correct the information above...This CVS is actually open 24 hours and sells alcohol all 24 of them, 7 days a week.

A prescription was sent in for my daughter the day before for some antibiotics, we decided to see if it was available at around 10:30. The gal working the register was very kind and said it'll be around 30 minutes. No problem. We went and checked out goodwill next door and came back at 30 min. Again, she said it wasn't available and would be about 30 more minutes. Okay, went for a walk, came back, only to be told again, 30 more minutes. So we decided to wait at the pharmacy in hopes it would be done earlier. No one was in line, and again we were very patient, occupying our kids with toys and electronics. 30 min later the manager came over and curtly asked if we were waiting for a prescription (I think she was annoyed at my son talking to his friend), we said yes, she runs our name, walks over, fills the prescription and calls our name saying it's complete, literally no longer than 2 minutes. We walk over to her, she completely ignores us so we decided to get into the line that had formed. Just such bizarre belittling behavior. Anyway, I'll avoid this CVS in the future, thankfully being from out of town that shouldn't be a problem.

I usually go to Walmart pharmacy but it was past 7 and i just got out of the doctors. I came here and I'm so glad I did! The 2 workers were super nice- they had my prescription ready literally in 5 mins after it was received. Also the pharmacist was super helpful and told me how to take it so that it absorbs better. To contrast, last time I got this medication at Walmart it was a horrible experience. The walmart pharmacy took over 20 minutes even though there was no one else there (I think the pharmacist did it on purpose). She also did NOT give me the absorption advice (even though it was my first time getting this medication). Even though Walmart is a few blocks closer to me, I think I will switch to Walgreens! These workers had a good attitude and were very efficient AND wore their face masks (unlike some other questionable places).

When they mess up your prescriptions (and they will), it's a (bare minimum) half an hour wait to talk to someone on the phone- and usually is over 45 minutes. The lines in the store to pick up prescriptions are down the aisles (multiple) and the drive through is just as bad. Plan on an hour for a pick up. I have a prescription that was sent 7 days ago that shows as in process STILL. I ran out 5 days ago. That is the norm for this pharmacy. AVOID this place at all costs. They are the absolute worst. I just transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy 20 miles further away so I can actually call, ask questions, and get my prescriptions on time. I just want a functional pharmacy. Walgreens lost my business, period. They've had plenty of time to fix that store but do nothing but let their customers suffer.

I tried calling after that to check to see if it was ready. The first two times no one answered, but on the third try the manager said my prescriptions would be ready that Thursday. I waited until Friday to be sure and went in and waited in line for more than a half-hour.
