I visited Minute Clinic in March 2026 as I lost my insurance due to separation from my domestic partner and explained all this to provider Abraham. I needed my cholesterol meds filled. She told me she would write a rx and if I went to the lab for bloodwork she would renew 2 times. I paid over $200 for the visit. $175 at time of visit and I was billed about 6 wks later an additional $50. Now that it's time to refill they are refusing saying I need to come in for another appointment and pay again. They lied to get me in and now trying to get more money from me while I'm still unemployed. I am 61ys old and need this medication as family history has proven I'm an a candidate for heart disease and stroke. Dropped off a prescription for my son over a week ago. Pretty sure they never submitted it SINCE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE READY 4 DAYS AGO. This is the second time. Most likely will have to go back to the doctor to get a new prescription as this is considered a schedule II drug. Impossible to speak to pharmacist on the phone. Automated system is frustrating and useless. You leave a message and nobody returns your call. YMMV read more

I would rather give 0 stars but cannot. Yesterday, I experienced some of the worst customer service in my 70 years. I was discharged from the hospital after being admitted for acute respiratory failure and bronchitis v pneumonia infection. I was discharged with prescriptions that were sent to the CVS at Zephyrhills. I was only discharged after these medications were reported to the hospital as ready for pickup, according to my discharge papers. Upon arrival at the CVS, I was only given 4 of 5 of the prescriptions, at 3:43 PM according to the receipt. The tech was acting as though the transaction was complete, when one was missing. We asked about the fifth prescription. We were told Aetna would not pay for it and the cost was over $18. We responded that we were agreeable to pay, that that was acceptable, that we needed the medication. She said that she could apply a discount, to pull through, drive around, wait 10 minutes, and come back for a lower price, even though we repeatedly tried to tell her that we did not care about that, but we did pull through. After we waited 10 minutes and then drove back, we heard a different story, were told to pull through, drive around, wait 10 minutes, and come back. We went through this multiple times for more than 50 minutes, until she finally told us that the CVS store did not have the medication, that we needed to go find it some where else. There was no offer for any assistance even though the store had reported to the hospital that the meds were ready, otherwise the hospital and/or staff could have adjusted plans. She said that we had to go back to the hospital, get another prescription from the doctor, and call or drive around to find a store that had the medication. I find this unacceptable service. A hospital releases patients when no longer in respiratory failure, when their life is no longer in danger, that does not mean that the patient is "well". They are generally not "well". I was not definitely "well", just because I was no longer in acute respiratory failure. I find it extremely poor customer service that a tech was telling me that even though it was the CVS store's fault that they did not have the medication, even though CVS told the hospital that they did have the medication, that the onus was all on a weakened, sick, infected 70 year old to deal with it. I have been dealing with it for more than a couple of hours today, calling back to get another prescription from a doctor who is no longer on duty, to be sent to a different pharmacy chain. When you really truly, need good pharmacy support, this CVS store in Zephyrhills is not the place. At this time, I would not have the new prescription sent to a any CVS store. I am extremely unlikely to ever spent as much as 1 cent at a CVS, or funnel any money from any insurance to any CVS ever. I could only recommend this CVS Store if you want poor substandard service that leaves you worse off than when you got there. read more

I have used CVS for years. This location on G all in Zephyrhills is definitely the worst. The woman who helped me never spoke to me. She took my drivers license and kept arguing with the other person on staff. She never told me the price, never asked if I had questions, nothing. If I could give no stars, I would. This place is an absolute joke. Just today, I've had my prescription called in for a week so finally got a ride up to the CVS and they said "oh it will be an hour or so to fill the prescription" are you kidding me? It's been called in for a week! She just said sorry but we'll rush it. Well I've been here over an hour now and nothing yet. Also my daughter has a medication that they needed to get an authorization for which THEY HAVE but keep saying I have to call the insurance to have them pay for it. I called insurance and they said nope, it's on them to call. I'm over it. The people are rude and don't care one bit. Even heard them talking crap about customers after they walked away and saying "yeah we don't care, go find another pharmacy" These medications are life saving for most of these people so a little caring would help people. read more

do not, repeat do not buy an ebay gift card at the store on coats when jesse is working. i bought a $50 card on sunday, went to purchase something on ebay with it and it said the card had a zero balance. i'm out $50 and my gut is screaming he scammed me. cvs won't refund it and ebay won't do anything either. this is a warning to others. read more

Terrible bad experience at this location that I been using as my primary pharmacy since 2017. One of your pharmacist call me today to tell me about my insurance not approving one of my son prescription & she was very short on her explanation & on top of that after I ask her can you tell me what exactly I need to do & why the insurance not approve the medication, she just said call the Dr & hang the phone call in a rude manner. Now I understand why you guys have 2.0 stars on yelp cause the customer service here isn't a priority. After call twice cause the automatic system is a pain in the neck & the hang on me when I was saying hello the second time the next pharmacist with similar accent pretending it wasn't me who calls you explain me better what was the issue but without care in the way that I was treated before. This staff need to be retrained in customer service. Remember you guys dealing with patients that need medicine & respect should be always in place. If someone ask for more info that's your job to provide the info & if you don't have it answer with respect & courtesy. If you manage this facility please call me at the 813-404-5925 to talk to me about this poor experience with your staff. Also my wife went there after my call & receive similar treatment from the same person that hang off the phone on me & two of her peers. They never followed up with calls and after calling multiple times cvs customer rep at this location were not of any assistance. The workers at this pharmacy don't seem to want to work. This place does not even deserve 1star. Customer service is a joke. If you need to call to talk to someone you have to call the 800 customer service number. When you go to pick up a medication that you are told will be ready in 2 hours and you show up over 3 hours later they tell you another 30-45 minutes before it will be ready. AVOID this place if you can. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. A week ago I went in to purchase some 12 packs of soda and other items. However, the shopping carts were so jammed together that I hurt my shoulder trying to separate any of them. I went inside and told the male clerk at the front of the store, and he said "Oh, someone must have hit them with their car". Really?? They were not in the parking lot but on the raised sidewalk near the entrance and surrounded by metal railings. Then two female workers came up front to chat with the male clerk. I mentioned that if no carts were available it would have been nice to have some assistance. I am a senior citizen and just the 12 packs of soda are more than even a younger person can usually juggle. They just looked at me and went back to chatting. Today, a week later, I went in once more. I got several items including bottled water and went to check out. In recent months this store has taken away two human clerks and replaced them with self-checkout machines. I scanned my items, and then it said wait for help. No one came. So I pressed the button on the screen. Still no one. Then I pressed a second button at the top of the screen and could hear an automated voice request help at the front. Now while all of this was going on the clerk that was there ignored me and continued a chat he had been having with a lady for at least 5 minutes. Still no one came. So I left my items on the floor and departed the store. I have spent thousands in this particular store in the past but am fed up with their level of service and the attitude of many of their employees. I recommend that you seek other sources of supplies unless you enjoy rude service, if you get service at all. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced in the pharmacy. Exceptionally understaffed for the volume.

You won't find a lot that makes this CVS stand out. It's an older location, so the building looks like it's ready for an update. The carpet, for example, looks like it could use a good cleaning, and the outside seems to be screaming for a date with a power washer. Once you get past the look, the store delivers on being a reliable neighborhood drug store. The shelves are fully stocked, and they actually have a really great selection of certain items, like athletic braces. Maybe it's their proximity to the hospital up the street, but you can find braces and orthotics I haven't seen at other locations. On the flip side, the makeup section seems a bit on the thin side. The service at the pharmacy and from the employees is friendly, but not overly so. They won't remember your name, but they are helpful when needed. read more

Friendly staff and good selection. There are plenty of stores around that carry essentials cheaper. I personally like the candy selection. Always cheaper than the theater food and the boxed candy fits nicely in pocket. read more

I have had problems at this store. Prescriptions for my daughter was tough. I had to call at least 4 times in a 12 hour period. They said they never recieved them after talking to 3 different people. They tell me I have to come stand in line for them to fill it. Finally we got out antibiotics. read more
