Not finding everything I needed at prior stops I knew what I needed would be in here. How, because it is a drugstore essentially and they would carry this. I actually almost bypassed this since I am not from the area. I apologize to anyone that was behind me when I cut across three lanes to make this turn. We all made it...again, I'm sorry. Came inside and made my way to the sections I needed. Grabbed everything. Prices are higher because it is CVS, but having no other place to grab this at, you have no other choice. Coming from the beach, and suffering from a sunburn, I also needed something to ease that pain. Luckily for me, they had a display set up so browsing for that was easy. My experience with different CVS pharmacies has been... poor, but the Yorktown location has got to be the worst.. I have sat in their drive-through for 20 min (!!) To compound the issue their staff is almost universally unfriendly. I don't know how they do this without going to training to act a board with customers. The icing on the cake is how difficult it is to change stores. I recently moved from one city to another and when I attempted to move my prescriptions from one CVS Pharmacy to another they flat out told me it would be easier I just got every doctor to send brand new prescriptions to the new pharmacy. This location including the pharmacy staff and the pharmacist is perhaps the worst in my 20 plus years. I really do not recommend this location because, no one is motivated to do their job, Pharmacy tech pushes the work to the pharmacist who is not motivated to do the job, I'm still waiting for my prescription to be made available after 2 long days and it is still not available..That is because they're sitting around and NOT working! read more

their customer service in the pharmacy area is terrible. they don't welcome you or say hello they snap your fingers at you and tell you to step up to a screen to sign in for pickup and don't even say hello or how can I help you. this is why I had my prescriptions moved out of here unfortunately my doctor accidentally sent it here again. cvs at 13000 warwick blvd in NN VA: on feb 17 i was told my medication was out of stock so I waited and waited and waited. Each time i visited their it said med was out of stock Two weeks later i see they are preparing it and actually get text stating it is ready. Go to pick up and im told my med was put back on shelf because it was ready two weeks ago. That is not what my texts from cvs show or their website show. they argue with me. I dont know why CVS is so SCREWED UP but they need to do better! I cant imagine being elderly and getting this type of service.! Please do better! Someones life may depend on it! read more

Let me start by saying I visited two other locations trying to get a passport photo, and either the paper was out or the equipment was down, and I was turned away with no alternatives. Arrived to this location and was told their camera was down but I could take my own photo and upload it. Unfortunately I was having Bluetooth issues, but that didn't stop the manager from going completely out of her way to help me. She got my photo taken, uploaded it and printed it, and never left me stranded trying to figure it all out. She was so patient and kind through the whole process, and I'm so grateful. I've also gotten a covid test done here in the past via appointment and everything was super smooth. Thank you SO much to the manager here for all you did for me! We always have a pleasant experience in this location and staff are friendly and patient with customers using coupons. Daniela (I think that's her name) was super friendly and checked us out quickly. This is our neighborhood CVS so kudos and keep up the friendly atmosphere. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!!!!! The pharmacy never answers and when you go in there they are RUDE. They need to lose their jobs.. they do nothing there. There system has been down for TWO days and nothing is being done on their end to communicate that with customers. I have tried and tried to get in contact with them then they put me on hold after 20 mins then left me on for another 10 then I hung up and this has happened 3 times now. Great pharmacy staff is always in a great mood, service is fast and efficient. They are always knowledgeable and answer my questions. They are extremely busy but try to accommodate everyone. They try to answer phones to the best of there ability. The girl said they have 10 phone linesto bad they don't have that many people to answer all those lines. read more

This staff is really knowledgeable when it comes to questions about products in the store . Even the pharmacy staff knows where to locate items and answer questions. The pharmacy is always looking out with my prescription. They always make sure I am aware of when my doctor changes my medicine and ask if I have question about the new medication. read more

I don't know if it's possible that so many dumb people can be put in one department but anything is possible. They do not fill your medications on time, waiting for multiple weeks, you call and they give you a time and date. When you go they tell you it's not done and it will take multiple hours. They are extremely lazy and incompetent. I think there needs to be a law put in place that medications should be down in an appropriate time or there is consequences put in place like a fine. People that don't get there meds on time have withdrawal affects that could have deadly consequences. Also this is not about employee shortages. AVOID!!! If you're looking for the worst CVS location in Virginia, this one probably takes first place. I've used CVS when I lived in another part of VA. It's not my favorite, but I've never had a problem with it. The staff at that CVS were nice enough. This CVS has been nothing BUT problems. I started using them when my insurance stopped working with Walgreens a few years ago. Earlier this year, I finally said no more after they failed to refill my prescription two times in a row and then stole my credit card. No, really. I'm not kidding. Day 1: I call in my refill and they confirm it will be ready by the next day. Day 2: I go through the drive-thru and ask for my medication. The woman takes my credit card, then goes to get the medication. She comes back empty handed. Not only do they not have my medication, they also have no record in their system of my refill request. I explain I called and it was confirmed, but she says there was nothing in the computer. Okay. Odd things happen sometimes. She asks if I'd like to put a refill request in and I say yes. She supposedly enters it into the computer. She say it will be ready in a few hours. I asked if I can pick it up the next day and she says yes. The conversation ends. I feel off, like I am forgetting something, but after waiting for a minute until I'm sure the conversation is over, I drive off. I couldn't figure out why I felt off. Day 3: I decide to go inside as I'm worried they messed up again. Everyone in the pharmacy is moving slower than a turtle and looks completely dead inside. It's very strange and unsettling, but kind of normal at this CVS. I get up to the counter to speak to one of these zombie-like employees and ask about my refill. They don't have it. They don't have any record of it. I'm not confrontational, but at this point, I've had enough. This is unacceptable. I've put in for a refill TWICE. I've had it confirmed TWICE. I explain the events of the past few days and my frustration to the employee. I ask for an explanation. Despite my obvious irritation, the employee isn't phased in the least. She certainly does not care. It's like talking to a robot. She ignores my request for an explanation, or perhaps she wasn't programmed to give one. Instead, she looks at me with dead eyes and a bored expression, and points my to the drop off area. I give up on getting anything out of her. I go to the drop off window and try not to let my frustration leak out as I make a THIRD refill request. This time, the woman at the window puts the refill in the computer, then immediately starts counting the pills out in front of me. About five or ten minutes later, my prescription is ready. There's still no apology or explanation. No one cares. I open my wallet to get this over with. My credit card is missing. Could this day get worse? I assume I left it at the grocery store the other day and use my back up card. Now remember the weird feeling I had after day two? I now know what caused it. The grocery store wasn't the last place I used my card. I went to CVS afterwards and the drive-thru lady took it before even checking to see if my medication was there. She never gave it back. For various reasons, it's unlikely it ended up in someone else's hands, and that makes it worse. My name is on my credit card. CVS has me in their system. They have my phone number. At the very least, they could have called to inform me my credit card wasn't stolen by someone with intentions to use it. I cancelled it soon after and no charges were made, but it was scary all the same. And oh boy, was it fun explaining to the woman from the credit card company that CVS took my credit card and didn't give it back. She'd never heard that one before.... This store has always had an odd and uncomfortable atmosphere for reasons I can't explain. They've made lots of small mistakes and the staff has never been great. But this was the final straw. You couldn't pay me to go back there. I tell this to everyone I know and warn them to stay away. If you must use CVS, don't use this one. read more

This store might be the worst I've ever visited. I just had the most unpleasant interaction with Dani although I couldn't verify that was her name because she was swinging her name tag around instead of wearing it. This store didn't have diapers or wipes and when I spoke with her she was extremely patronizing and continually rolled her eyes. When I walked away her and her co-worker (who was on her phone and not wearing a mask when I approached her) started laughing. This place is a joke. Less than one star. Pharmacy went out of their way to try and escalate the chances of a stroke. #1 lie - I'm filling that right now..No, actually not in stock or available for 11 days. After calling , told not ready yet. Later found some of Rex was actually filled and ready for pickup 5 ! Days ago. Lie #2 - Pharmacist states, I talked to your mother and told her I could give a few pills to hold her over.. I listen to the call on speaker phone - lie. #3 lie - I sent you an email that Rex was ready - Not ! Unfortunately because Aetna owns CVS, we have no choice. How in the world do we as seniors allow this horrible business to continue to exist? I can tell dozens of other horrible experiences at CVS, and many from other folks exp. as well. Now, CVS is going into the Home Health business. They can't even handle seniors medications. Nooo Integrity people at CVS. Who flat out lies to folks,,,, yeah. read more
