When I was checking out at the self-checkout kiosk, I kept getting an error message from the card reader and was getting frustrated. Fortunately, a woman at the front helped me out right away. I had seen her earlier when she was greeting customers entering the store. She was super quick with fixing the problem and was friendly with a good sense of humor. I was grateful she helped me out since I was short on time. 5-stars for great customer service. I've been to this store a number of times, and the aisles are always stocked and neat. I haven't tried the pharmacy section because I normally go to a different CVS location, but I may switch over since this one has a drive-thru (though some of the Yelp reviews about the pharmacy are a little eye brow raising). For a long time, I hesitated going to this CVS because it was built on the former site of Pal's Cabin, a West Orange landmark that was torn down for the chain store, but I guess enough time has passed. Shop Rite is often our go to store because of their robust baking/flour and Kosher sections. Their…read morebaking section has many different types of flour and it is well organized. The Kosher section has very good selection of dry goods, dairy, fresh, frozen and some prepared goods (although the prepared goods selection has gotten smaller in recent years). The fruit and vegetable selection is well kept with many options. Checkout can sometimes be uneven, however. Many items in the Kosher section (particularly meat) are insufficiently or inaccurately marked, which makes checkout slow and you need to keep a sharp eye on items as they are being rung up. There is a lot of parking.
