They are always very helpful to us. Never a problem. The pharmacy is easy to talk to and seems to function well.

If I could give a zero star I would. Poorest customer service of any pharmacy ever visited. Phone calls not answered or returned. Takes forever to have a prescription filled. Runs out of medications and does not notify customer until they arrive. read more

This is Minute Clinic specific: I gave a 3 star because that is what the two experiences averaged out to be. If I was being more accurate I would give a 1 and a 5. Today I was helped by a lovely NP who listened to my symptoms, did a full physical eval, was able to diagnose my problem, and assist with getting the correct course of treatment. She did her job kindly and professionally, and most importantly I got the help I needed. That's it, that's the bar, 5 stars you pass! The same cannot be said for when I came in a few days ago. This experience was with a different NP, I came in with the same primary symptoms (debilitating vertigo and dizziness, pressure in the sinuses and ears) and at the time pain in the ears and sinuses as well. I was panicked as one would be when they are sick and so dizzy they are struggling to walk, and walked in with some conjectures about a possible cause (flu, sinus infection, or ear infection). Before tests were run I was told to "not rely on doctor google" and that I needed to be less anxious and calm down. She did run a flu test for me, look in my eyes, check my balance, and prescribe me some medicine for dizziness before telling me it was probably just some virus and I needed to rest. She then reiterated how anxious I was, implied I was making my symptoms worse than they actually were, and gave me the usual "eat healthy, drink fluids, get rest". She was right, I probably do have a virus. But, that virus caused a double ear infection which was causing the dizziness that was so severe I had to get someone to drive me to the clinic and help me walk in and if she had put her ego aside for a second instead of dismissing and belittling me and looked in one or both of my ears she would have seen that. This is very indicative of the level of care I have received at the clinic, and I think it very much comes down to luck and who you see. I've had great experiences and am likely to return again because of convenience and cost. It was important to me to write about this experience though because regardless of what a healthcare provider thinks about their patient it should not impact their standard of care. It could have all been in my head, I could have scared myself into thinking something was wrong when it wasn't, but that should have been decided after tests came back negative, not when I walked into the door. If a crazy person says their toe hurts, it doesn't matter if you think they're imagining it, you still look at the toe because that's your job and that's how you determine if they are in fact imagining it. For your future patients, please do better. Thank you. read more

The pharmacy will send you a voicemail telling you to come pick up your prescription. However, if you get there at 1:30 they close and they don't care if you're sick and they're only one minute over 130. They just close the gate on you and make you wander around for 30 minutes feel sick as a dog until they open up at two. I think a better course of action would be to remember that the customer comes first and they might be sick as I was today and maybe the company should consider staggering the lunch hours so there is someone there to wait on customers read more

No one ever answers the phone at the pharmacy. I have called several times over the last 6 months and have been on hold for over an hour each time, and have been disconnected from my call 4 times. I called back and still no one answered when I pushed #7 to speak with a pharmacist. I went to talk to them in person and it didn't do any good. They were rude and unapologetic. I understand that it's hard to find good help these days but after calling around other pharmacies, the max time I was on hold was 3 minutes. read more

I have used CVS for 50 of my 70 years. Over 20 years at this very store. I have had minor issues; but, considering the volume, and considering the hundreds if not thousands of my personal transactions and the satisfactory and polite resolutions, (some in my favor and some adequately explained, not so much in my favor), I felt satisfied with the relationship. However, recently I experienced an event where I considered the clerk to be so rude, confrontational, unpleasant, disrespectful, and as unprofessional as I have experienced anywhere in many years. I have taken steps to move my prescription needs to another pharmacy because I no longer have confidence in the CVS team being part of my health management team. read more

Yep. Just like Haywood Regional Hospital a decade ago, this pharmacy had a breakdown two months ago. It started with a simple phone call to refill a medication. Did that. My husband told me to call back to set a pick up time. Tried, but couldn't. I thought that was a little odd. We went to pick it up. We were rudely told at the pick up window that it was not ready because the CVS computers were down. And, we were told that the medication wasn't in stock. I was perplexed and worried about withdrawal symptoms. I asked what to do. The employee replied with rude words again. My husband parked the car and I suddenly wished he wasn't a human-grizzly hybrid. My brain nor body wouldn't let me catch up with him due to fear. He told a different pharmacist that his at-the-window pharmacist was rude. You know how it is- placating words to move us along. They did offer to give us some of the sought after medication if we brought the bottle in. We pondered that, but decided to wait for their computers to be fixed and to see if our original request had been received within their data banks. So, I called again either the next day or two days later to see if my daughter's prescription was ready, or if I had to resubmit the refill. Of course, it got even more bizarre. First, the woman told me that my daughter's insurance was no longer valid. (That problem got solved.) Then, I was told that I had to request from my daughter's medical provider that they authorize an override for this medication. Huh? Isn't that CVS's job? (In fact, it is.) When I called my daughter's nurse to do so, she definitely thought it was weird. She called up CVS and got even more weirdness. I am withholding the name of the employee whose shenanigans created unneeded work for others. Maybe she is related to the rude employee and was seeking revenge. We have switched to another pharmacy now. I will say that once they gave me a free, three-dayish dose of another medication when I forgot to renew it. That is good, but not good enough for me to go back to them. read more

In my humble opinion this is easily the worst pharmacy in town. If you're looking for red tape, disingenuous guidance, lack of customer empathy or generally poor service, you might want to patronize this place. For a better experience you might pick any of the local non-chain pharmacies where the concepts of community and customer care are more than an advertising slogan. read more

Worst pharmacy in town also one of the most expensive. Frequently out of the medications I need (which are common). For this reason I do most of my business at Rite-Aid. read more

They are still having issues with filing prescriptions. Someone yelped this complaint months ago. About 11am I dropped off my perscription, they said it would be ready about 2 or 3 o'clock, they wee short handed and it was going to be awhile. No problem I said. So I came back at 3:30, not ready for another 30 to 30 minutes, they said. Came back 4:30 they said they would be filing it now so I sit and wait. Didnt get it until 5pm. They are really really busy here. Next time I will choose another location. I love this CVS but not for prescriptions. read more

DO NOT go to the pharmacy for your prescriptions during tourist season! They will give you a time to pick it up, but it still won't be ready when you go to get it. Very disappointing. I had a question about a rx and I called to speak with someone, not only was I on hold for a total of 63 min, once the pharmacy manager called me back she offered no explanation to why my call was never answered. At this point I was at the drive-thru and there was not one single other customer at the pharmacy. i still didn't have the answer to my question at this point. After calling several time the pharmacist Brian called and left a detailed message in my mothers voicemail that clearly states her name (which is clearly not the the same as mine). When I called back to discuss this with him he was very rude and all he could say is he did not violate HIPPA. I would recommend not using this pharmacy unless you like dealing with people who treat you like you aren't worth their time. read more

The CVS in Waynesville is a very nice CVS location. While vacation in nearby Maggie Valley, we realized we had forgotten some necessities, so we made a trip to this CVS. The store is decent sized and has everything you'd expect from a CVS. The staff is friendly and full of Southern Hospitaltiy. We found everything we needed relatively easily. Overall, if you are in Haywood County and need a pharmacy, the CVS Waynesville is the place to go. read more

Terrible customer service on my first visit to this location. I waited 40 minutes with my very ill 7 year old for her prescriptions. I was the only person in the waiting area, there were 4 people and the pharmacist working at 10:00 AM on a Thursday and they were clearly struggling so I waited patiently. Most of the employees were friendly but the pharmacist on duty was rude and disgruntled. I watched as she blatantly rolled her eyes at customers with questions, acted incredibly rude to a young CVS employee AND huffed and rolled her eyes at FedEx employee needing a signature for a delivery. I've honestly never seen a pharmacist treat people so disrespectfully and behave with such utter lack of professionalism. I've used CVS for years and I would transfer a prescription to the nearby Rite Aid before I would use this CVS location again. read more

Not happy with this place anymore I went in to see if my prescription had been called in and no so we waited for awhile I went back to see if they had called it in yet she pretended to look for it and said no again so I walk outside sit down in the car didn't have the door shut the text went off it was ready !!! 4 hours and 2 return trips after they promised me an hour wait, they still don't have my script ready. I know pharmacies can get busy, but if you're in a hurry (say for a medication for a corneal abrasion) you can expect a loooong, painful wait. read more

This pharmacy has changed for the worse. They consistently are out of the medication I need and I'm told I will have to wait a few days, which I can't. I need the medication every day. They should be able to keep all medication in stock. CVS doesn't seem to care and get rude when you tell them you cannot go one day without the medication and will not offer advice on what to do, just say you will have to wait til the next order comes in which will be can be several days. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Waiting time for a prescription to be filled if they have it is usually 2 hours and pharmacy lines are long with people waiting only to be greeted with rude staff CVS on Russ Ave Waynesville is horrible. While in town visiting relatives, I brought my Rx to be refilled. I dropped it off at 10 am and was informed it would be 1 hour. I stated that I would be back later to pick it up. I returned at 8:30pm, and was simply shocked it wasn't filled. This pharmacy was disorganized to say the least. They couldn't find my bottle which I dropped off for the refill. The young lady, Brittany needs to learn customer service. She was rude and has a mouth on her. I will never go to this pharmacy again. Simply zero customer service and lacks manners. read more

Pharmacy is poorlly run. Very slow. They don't meet commitments on when RX' will be filled. Only person waiting but no assistance even when 4 people working. I will be using Rite Aid going forward. Pricing is also higher than anyone read more

I got stuck in the drive thru with someone behind me and someone else in front of me. Not a single car moved after 40 minutes!!! I called my RX in at 9:00am and this was around 5:00pm. I finally got out and asked several of the cars behind me to reverse so that I could get out of the drive thru. I went inside and waited in line, just to find out that my RX was still not done. She said to come back at 10:00pm as they were 5 hours behind. Not an apology or anything, even after I told them about waiting in the drive thru for 40 minutes!! Mind you, I called in my RX at 9:00am! I returned the next day at 2:00pm, and guess what, my RX was still not done!!! The tech stated that if I waited another 20 minutes, she would get it done for me. I had my 4 children with me, so I was not willing to stand around, when the prescription should have been ready the day before!! It is now day 3 without my medicine, and I have been on hold for 20 minutes with the pharmacy department to see if it is ready before I waste my gas to travel there for a third time!!! Mind you, we live in Maggie, so this CVS is not right around the corner. Save yourself some hassles and get your prescriptions filled at Kim's Pharmacy (which is the best by far) next choice would be Rite Aide, and 3rd choice is Walmart. I will not use this CVS again for anything, even if my prescriptions were free!!!!!!!!!! You could not even lure me with 25 cent 2 liters, and I love my Diet Pepsi Max!!! read more
