The absolute worst pharmacy in the world. Customer service is an atrocity. Their computer system causes errors more often than not and unfortunately their employees have neither the ability nor knowledge to fix this. Their answer is to have the patient tell the doctor's office to call them. So, as a doctor, I tried calling. We had a patient who picked up the same prescription from the same provider 2 weeks earlier and the pharmacy tech told them "the computer" did recognize the prescriber as valid. Their solution was for the provider to call CVS. As a prescriber I was on the phone for over 45minutes when I finally spoke with the Pharmacist. She couldn't explain the computer glitch and did not have a way to fix this valid prescription. Mind you they told us to call them and they can't do anything. Mind boggling stupidity. read more

During a hiccup with my insurance card flagging me as having the wrong birthdate, both a pharmacy clerk and pharmacy manager made jokes about how expensive my shots were going to be. They did try to help reduce the out-of-pocket costs by setting me up with a rewards card, which knocked about $25 off of the $240 tab. I appreciate that something was tried, but I also believe customer service could be improved by NOT JOKING ABOUT UNEXPECTEDLY HIGH HEALTHCARE COSTS. read more

The pharmacy closed the drive thru on us despite being in line and waiting well over 10 minutes before closing. Went inside to see if I could catch someone and saw them helping a customer inside through their security/closing gate. I asked if I could get assistance and explained how I was waiting outside and the drive thru just closed, no one said anything, no assistance. Wanda the manager told us they close at 7. Frustrated with this situation, I asked the front cashier for a number to complain and while explaining the situation, Wanda proceeded to approach us at the front and said they close at 7, she "has her own life" her "mother and daughter are sick" and "if it was so important" why didn't I "come sooner." Text the prescription was in progress was received at 4:48pm. I didn't receive a completed text, but I thought I'd try. My child has an ear infection, who wouldn't try? Who wouldn't be upset with the situation knowing you're there before closing and no one assists you or says anything. Had I been inside, they would've still helped me. People in line at closing buying stuff at the front wouldn't be ignored and treated this way. I wasn't buying a birthday cake!! I was picking up a prescription for my child. This is healthcare. Wanda wanted my compassion for her schedule and her sick family, yet she didn't have an ounce of compassion for me as a customer. For my child who was sick! I called the next day to speak to whoever was in charge of the pharmacy and Wanda said the store manager. She put me through to Ray who SAID THE SAME THING TO ME! "If it was so important why didn't I come sooner?" He also informed me he actually isn't in charge of the pharmacy, it's the district leader. I called another location who was kind enough to tell me that a CVS at 91st and Yale (I think) is open until 8pm and I could have gone there! Sure wish Wanda could've shared that instead of making it personal. The actions of Ray and Wanda are absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and disgusting. They do not belong in a management. We all have stuff in our personal lives, but you have a job to do. At the end of the day, the 5 extra minutes she spent arguing, she could've gotten the prescription. Approaching us at the front of the store was WRONG. Wanda saying what she said was WRONG. Thankfully Walgreens assisted us and I highly encourage anyone considering this pharmacy seeks their care elsewhere. You run the risk of not receiving your prescription! After filing a complaint, two weeks and 5 phone calls later, I kept insisting to speak with the district leader. I finally got a call back from Renee who understood my concern and my frustration. She assured me this would be handled and apologized. As a parent, as a human being, this is not acceptable service and never will be. Period. read more

They are pretty good here! They're doing what they can with what they have, and that goes far in my book. They are helpful, and call if there is an issue instead of just waiting for me to come in to pick it up, which is why I stopped using Walgreens. read more

The people are really nice. I really want to like this pharmacy. But they are exceptionally understaffed. Everything takes forever to get done because they are overwhelmed. The service is just not good because of the amount of work they have. They need to bring in more staff. A prescription should take 2 to 10 minutes to fill. Instead we typically have to wait an hour. So we end up coming back. Not convenient at all! read more

We decided to stop in at 6:15pm on a Saturday to grab snacks/drinks for the movie. They had a hand written note saying closed due to not having enough staff. I don't know why I try and patronize this location. It's a challenge most times to shop there read more

I went to the pharmacy to get a flu shot. I stood at the counter (where the sign said to go for flu shots) and waited for at least 5 minutes without being acknowledged by any one of the FIVE guys working there. There wasn't another customer in the pharmacy section during this time, but two employees seemed to be helping customers in the drive-through. One was stocking. One was bagging up prescriptions. I'm not sure what the other guy was doing. I understand that sometimes you need to wait, but a simple acknowledgement would have been nice. After at least five minutes, a man went to the pick-up counter and was assisted immediately. At that point, I left and went to the CVS on Hillside Drive, (where I was greeted immediately, and the pharmacist came out right away to do the flu shot). read more

I had to transfer a Prescription from Walmart to CVS and the gentleman had it filled the next morning. There was no waiting when we picked it up later. Everyone was quite courteous. read more

Nancy with "customer service" checked me out at the register with 2 items. Very rude. I asked to join cvs membership since I didn't have one to save some money, and she was very short and obviously annoyed she had to provide customer service. I asked if that was too much work, which she ignored me but making a point she was irritated with helping me. Next time I'll go to Walgreens to avoid bugging anyone. read more

This CVS pharmacy is a pleasant surprise. Anytime I have questions of the pharmacy staff, they are met with considerate attention and thoughtfulness. I believe the technicians seem quite efficient and hardworking. I will continue to visit this location when in the area. read more

This is seriously the worst pharmacy. I live super close to this CVS and I will purposely go out of my way to avoid it. The store portion is fine. There is only one person working in the pharmacy at all times. So it's fine if there is no one else waiting. Also they never get the prescription when it's sent over from the doctor. And if you go at peak times, expect to wait 30+ minutes. They are horrible. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs!!! read more
