I am a regular customer of the CVS Pharmacy located at 375 Queen Anne Rd, Teaneck, NJ 07666, where I frequently pick up my prescription medications. In the past, I have written a review regarding the quality of customer service at this location. At that time, I described my experiences as generally average, sometimes quite good, though not exceptional, and at other times simply satisfactory. Overall, I had not encountered any major issues. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was markedly different. I had a very poor customer service experience and felt that I was treated disrespectfully by an employee named "James", whom I had not seen before and therefore assume is a newer staff member. I want to emphasize that my previous interactions at this pharmacy, particularly with the female staff members, have generally been positive and courteous. This incident, however, stood in sharp contrast to those experiences. The recent installation of the self-service kiosks in the prescription pickup area has been an excellent improvement, making the pickup process much faster and more efficient. On August 4, my wife and I visited the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions for both of us. At the time, there were no other customers waiting for service except for an elderly gentleman who was seated and waiting for a prescription refill. Both self-service kiosks were available, so I proceeded to use one of them. At that point, "James" reprimanded me and accused me of attempting to cut in line. This accusation was entirely unwarranted, as my wife and I were the only customers actively seeking service. His comments were also difficult to understand because he spoke unclearly, making it challenging to determine what he was trying to communicate. My wife had to explain what he meant before I understood his concern. Feeling that I had been unfairly and disrespectfully treated, I asked for his full name so that I could report the incident to a supervisor. He refused to provide his last name, identifying himself only as "James". To my surprise, my wife was also informed that she would have to return later because her prescriptions were not yet ready. She was not offered the option of waiting a short time or given any explanation regarding when the medications would be available, despite the pharmacy not appearing to be busy. I believe that employees working at the prescription pickup counter should demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication. Patients rely on pharmacy staff for assistance with matters directly related to their health and medications, making respectful interactions and effective communication especially important. Based on this experience, I do not believe the level of customer service I received met those standards. This is my local CVS and the staffs at the front registers are very friendly, especially the managers. Pros- They always greet their customers and asks if they need any help. The stores has been renovated a few months ago and it like night and day. They now offer a large selection of healthy snacks, which I am a fan of. I noticed the check out lines are usually not longer than 3 people because someone behind the register would always call for a back up cashier to open up another register whenever the line continues to grow. Lots of parking and weekly sale items are generally in stock. Con- Sometimes the coupon kiosk machine is down, and I would not be able to print any coupons. Also, if I print out coupons from the kiosk machine, then I would rather not have to receive 10 more coupons that comes with my receipt. Too much paper, just very wasteful. When your doctor sends your prescription here, don't count on getting it when you need it. Commonly, the prescription is not in stock and you will wait, and wait, and wait. I was told to return yesterday to pick up my backordered prescription after going to the store 2 days in a row. Of course it wasn't there. I won't need the prescription next week or next month. This is not unusual. I will go and I recommend using the smaller pharmacies who really value my business. I loved Alvin's pharmacy then CVS stole their business. It's been a disaster so now I'm out. Always a nightmare. They never have your prescription in stock, don't notify you and never transfer your prescription properly. So after you go to another location you have to wait longer for them to call this pharmacy and transfer it properly. read more

The pharmacy just doesn't have good costumer service They sent me a text message on April 25 saying they are filling my prescription and it would be ready to be picked up soon, So on May 8 I finished the last of my prescription they still hadn't texted me or called saying it was ready for pick up then when I come in they tell me my insurance rejected my prescription and they didn't seem to care if I ran out and they didn't bother to call anyone either. A well run Pharmacy would have called me when my prescription was rejected by the insurance but now they wait for me to run out and then come in before they bother to tell me. And their response is basically pay out of pocket or go without my prescription, it would be nice if they let me know when they found out... when I still would've had medication left on my prescription. thanks for the heads up CVS. Zzzzz.... What a bad experience! A very dismissive pharmacist that was very put off after I asked for a flu shot. Told me 25 to 35 minutes after I told him I just called and they said come right up. Stay away from this jerk-off place. My time is valuable too... read more

Very attentive and quick service! The pharmacy technicians were very friendly. I was worried about starting this new medication, but the pharmacist took his time in explaining to me all the infromation about the product. I did not feel rushed at all. I would give them five stars for the service. This is the best CVS pharmacy that I ever went to. read more

CVS PHARMACY DEPT. #3097 did not refill my prescription which I have been on for 5 years. After waiting 5 days without a call or text that it was ready I finally I walked in (waited from 9am to 915am because she was late with her morning coffee), I was told there were computer issues so she couldn't even begin to look for my pills! I said I was having withdrawal symptoms and the pharmacist said," oh, that's not working out for you huh?". I asked if they could check the bin, the answer was no. I asked if they could call my doctor, the answer again was no. When I called my doctor, they confirmed they put the refill in the system 5 days ago, but I alerted them that the CVS on Queen Anne was having computer issues, maybe call in to another CVS because of my withdrawal symptoms. Office said it was really as simple as just calling it in over the phone now, not to worry. So she called, they took the order for pick up today (hopefully) and the nurse apologized saying that CVS should have called in to confirm and give me a few pills to help with withdrawal.
