We spent over $130 total, got only $5 off instead of the $7, which was fine, but somewhat unclear as listed on our last receipt which said if you spent $30 you'd get $7. Is it a big deal to only get $5 credit for this particular visit? Not really, but the cashier was SO unpleasant, we are considering not going back there again, a shame since we've enjoyed so many of our staff experiences there and have been regular customers there for 12+ years. Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

Everyone at TenderCare has been such a joy to work with. I am so glad they decided to expand their…read moreservice to Colorado Springs because we had heard so many great things about them but until recently they didn't service our area. Now that they do we've switched and I understand why their families LOVE working with them. It's because TenderCare is a family operation and the families they serve are treated as family from day one. They have take a very frustrating part of my life - ordering medical supplies for my trach and vent dependent son, and made it so easy. There are less boxes coming in which means I have less porch pirate worries, everything is packed efficiently so my recycling isn't overwhelmed with boxes anymore, all of the supplies that get to us are exactly what I needed. I never feel like I can't call text or email my service people when I need something and they are so invested in solving problems for me. And that contact part of things, being able to email my service people whenever, is HUGE because I have toddlers, very mobile happy toddlers one of whom has a trach and vent and having that reassurance that they WILL get back to me the next day about whatever it is I thought of at 2am makes our life so much easier. Their problem solving skills are superb. I can call and say this is my issue that I need a solution for and they will help me work the problem until we have a functional solution for our family. A great example is our vent is table top and we were using a kids toy as an IV pole because again we are dealing with toddlers here who like to knock IV poles and equipment stands over just because they can. They had a solution for me immediately. TenderCare is just an absolute joy to work with.

His vehicles were highly capable of transporting me and my wheelchair. I paid a pretty penny to have him available throughout the day and evening if I needed him. Fortunately for him, we did not require much travel accept to and from the Olympic Center and hotel On the morning of my first shoot, Ray had an argument with his girlfriend and was late taking me to the Olympic Center. Fortunately, the shooting event started late so I technically made it in time. I was a bit frazzled, but I still shot okay. All other scheduled drives were on time. His prices were a bit high, but I was satisfied with his service and I intended to use Denver Amulet for future shooting events in Colorado. Our final trip was a ride to Aspen to participate in the Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. I found on the morning of that he mis-quoted the cost of the trip to Aspen by quite a bit. Before traveling to Aspen, we looked at his laptop to confirm that the quote he provided me was actually in his system. He countered and said he would be losing money if I paid him the actual quote provided. (I am leaving out the actual dollar amounts). I reluctantly paid the additional cost, and we made it to Aspen safely. A couple times, we asked him to put the phone down while driving and he eventually complied. Ray is a great guy, and easy to speak with. He successfully took me to all my scheduled destinations. The missed quote to Aspen didn't sit well with me so I will be looking for transportation with other companies.

It's now after 11am and there is no way for us to get mom to her 11:20am doctor's appointment. Still haven't heard back from the company after leaving messages on both phone numbers over 30 minutes ago. So disappointed that this company made my mom miss her important doctors appointment!
