The nicest and most knowledgeable pharmacists in the Greensboro area. I go out of my way to go to this location.

I've been going to this CVS for a couple of decades. Their staff have always been super cordial…read more The store is typically clean and well stocked. They have added a self check out that can help speed things along if you don't want to have a chat with the cashier. I actually prefer the friendly banter with the cashiers. The cashiers are always helpful. I usually use the drive thru for the Pharmacy. Their drive thru is always busy. This is the only CVS for a few miles. Some days the drive thru zips through fairly easily and other days it doesn't. I like to use their app to help track if my prescriptions are ready. I haven't run into any unpleasant Pharmacy staff in the drive thru. This location also has a RedBox and photo department. They have ample parking.

Scrolling through the 2 reviews, I realized this place has unfair ratings...I recognize that…read moreeveryone's experience is different, but I've had only good experiences with getting my prescriptions filled. With that said, this is one of the only places of it's kind in a fairly large and expanding part of the county, you may have to have a little more patience and grace when getting your prescription filled. Just take a look while standing on line at the pharmacy, there are prescriptions filled overflowing from the shelves. The one "complaint" is the drive thru that is shared with prescription pickup AND Covid testing. The Covid testing is taking up time/space in the drive thru. I know we don't want people with Covid in our store, but we also don't want potentially very sick people having to traipse past us shopping, to the back of the store to pick up meds because the drive thru is too long. There is a double drive thru at this location, I wish they could figure it out. The pharmacist has been very responsive as far as notifying me about potential drug interactions and the tech was very helpful when I panicked because my blood pressure was very high and the blood pressure pills I needed weren't in their delivery. They were able to get me some pills to get me through. I deeply appreciate this location for the location and the care provided by the pharmacy staff. The friendliness of the front of store staff is also very appreciated.

Review of Pharmacist Conduct - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior Randleman Road Greensboro…read moreNC #5593 As a licensed medical provider working with a nationwide medical clinic, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct of a pharmacist at this location. One of our patients returned to clinic after being refused her medication refill--despite presenting a printed prescription that was properly signed, included the physician's NPI number, and met all legal requirements. This method of issuing prescriptions is standard across hospitals and private practices nationwide, especially with the growing use of electronic medical record systems. I contacted the pharmacy directly to clarify and ensure the patient received the care she needed. Unfortunately, the pharmacist I spoke with was not only uncooperative, but outright rude and arrogant. I answered all of his questions respectfully, yet he continued to challenge my legitimacy as a provider. Shockingly, he even asked if I was "acting like a paramedic." For the record, I hold the appropriate medical degrees and have over 30 years of clinical experience. His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and inappropriate. Despite confirming that the prescription was for a non-controlled medication, he refused to fill it, asked the same questions repeatedly, questioned my authority without cause, and ultimately ended the call by saying, "Let's not waste any more time," before hanging up on me. This kind of behavior creates unnecessary barriers to care and disrespects both the provider and the patient. I was forced to redirect the prescription to a different pharmacy to ensure the patient received her medication without further delay. I have filed a formal complaint with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy to ensure this incident is reviewed appropriately. Addendum: I asked the pharmacist for his full name, and he gave me an incorrect name--most likely to avoid being reported to the pharmacy board. I called the pharmacy again and asked a technician to provide his full name and correct spelling, but she refused and said she would connect me back to him. I explained I did not wish to speak with him again. On a third attempt, I asked for the store manager. The staff member who answered was kind and went to get the manager, but the manager also refused to provide the pharmacist's name, citing it as private information. This is incorrect. A pharmacist's name is public information--it appears on every prescription label and is listed on the state Board of Pharmacy website. I proceeded to file a formal complaint for disciplinary action with the board due to this pharmacist's unprofessional behavior and for obstructing a patient's access to care. If all of you who have had a negative experience would contact the NC Board of Pharmacy, this nonsense might get addressed properly. There are numerous reviews here regarding the same issue with this particular pharmacist. The pharmacist's name is Ylber (Ben) Rraci. License #: 29329
