They have added a self check out that can help speed things along if you don't want to have a chat with the cashier. I actually prefer the friendly banter with the cashiers. The cashiers are always helpful. I usually use the drive thru for the Pharmacy. Their drive thru is always busy. This is the only CVS for a few miles. Some days the drive thru zips through fairly easily and other days it doesn't. I like to use their app to help track if my prescriptions are ready. I haven't run into any unpleasant Pharmacy staff in the drive thru. This location also has a RedBox and photo department. They have ample parking.

With that said, this is one of the only places of it's kind in a fairly large and expanding part of the county, you may have to have a little more patience and grace when getting your prescription filled. Just take a look while standing on line at the pharmacy, there are prescriptions filled overflowing from the shelves. The one "complaint" is the drive thru that is shared with prescription pickup AND Covid testing. The Covid testing is taking up time/space in the drive thru. I know we don't want people with Covid in our store, but we also don't want potentially very sick people having to traipse past us shopping, to the back of the store to pick up meds because the drive thru is too long. There is a double drive thru at this location, I wish they could figure it out. The pharmacist has been very responsive as far as notifying me about potential drug interactions and the tech was very helpful when I panicked because my blood pressure was very high and the blood pressure pills I needed weren't in their delivery. They were able to get me some pills to get me through. I deeply appreciate this location for the location and the care provided by the pharmacy staff. The friendliness of the front of store staff is also very appreciated.

I am not sure if North Carolina has a Deceptive and Unfair Trade Businesses Act but I am certainly going to find out and see to it that this establishment is investigated and fined. If you have ever been confused or misinterpreted this bait-and-switch tactic, you are not alone. Case in point. I purchased supplements at this store yesterday. The $15 lured me in, as the brilliant CVS retail marketing people knew it would, and I marched up to the register fully expecting to be charged $59 as all other retail outlets charge for the same product. Instead, I was charged $74.99 with the assurance that I had a $15 coupon, embedded in a nearly two-foot long receipt for next time. And the coupon expires Jan. 3, 2026. Hmm. Sixty day supply equals Feb. 4, 2026. So, late yesterday, I called and spoke to a woman named Sylvia who identified herself as the Manager. After a long discussion, Sylvia offered to reimburse me the $15. I went to the store today to get said refund and Sylvia's stellar staff was clueless. I never got reimbursed. I am not sure what the State and Federal Fines are for this type of transgression but we are most certainly going to find out. So, if you have had a similar experience at this or any other CVS store, the North Carolina Attorney General's Office has a robust Consumer Protection Division. https://ncdoj.gov/protecting-consumers/ and we all know what the U.S. Federal Trade Commission can do! https://www.ftc.gov/ Call them. Write them. Send them a certified letter. Finally, for the CVS Leadership, DELIVER WHAT YOU PROMISE OR DON'T PROMISE AT ALL.

I've finally reached my tolerance limit with this pharmacy…read more To clarify, the techs are helpful and always busy. However, the pharmacist, particularly the woman who has been on duty these last two days, has consistently caused delays in my RXs over this last year. Again, its not the first time this has happened, but the rudeness and lack of urgency she shows is abhorrent and this time, my dog is suffering because of it. Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I dopped a paper Rx off. This is for a sleeping pill for my overactive dog, who was neutered yesterday and is in danger of reopening his incision. However, upon the pharmacist seeing this, she immediately became annoyed. Then made an issue of our lack of knowledge about this skeeping pill (we mistakenly said it was for anxiety). Despite four hours until closing, we didn't push when she said it wouldn't be ready until the morning... that's okay, sucks for my dog, but we understood that its a busy time of day. So, we check back the following day (today) around 11 am; the Rx was in a pile of other papers, not touched since yesterday. We were again told, it'd be ready later in the afternoon by the same lady. So, imagine our lack of surprise when at 4pm today, it's still not available. Worse, for some reason, she says the veterinary Dr. needs to be contacted to fill this, but she tried to call once today and nobody answered. Mind you, the pharmacist had both of our numbers, but never bothered to let us know she was having a problem speaking with Dr who wrote it. Nevermind that this is for 14 Trazodones and is not a controlled substance. Additionally, the Rx has the Dr's name, location, DEA and NPI numbers and clear instructions and a clear Dr signature. Making matters worse, this is a veterinary doctor office and they close at 4pm, so guess who's dog is again without his medication. That's already four doses missed. My husband requested our paper Rx back from the Pharmacist, and she had the audacity to say she hopes that we know its not her fault. After 3 seperate attempts to fill this, it most CERTAINLY is. It actually seemed that the minute she knew this was for a dog, she deemed it inconsequential. Like i previously mentioned, I've been putting up with my own issues, including having to follow up multiple times when I refill my medications. I hate that there are no other pharmacies around this side of town, but please save your time and sanity and avoid this place at all costs. Update: *Harris Teeter pharmacy is filling this right now, no questions or issues or delays.
