This one was different - I snapped two photos and have added them here to my review so you can see what I'm talking about. The shift supervisor asked if she could assist me (staff was friendly and accessible!) - I didn't need help but I told her how clean and impressive her store was. She thanked me and said they work hard to keep it that way. I bet they do! This store is an exemplary example of what CVS can be.

Through a series of events, out family's prescriptions have been sent here about a half a dozen times over the past 6 months. We've been trying to transfer service to a locally owned pharmacy where we get much better service but office records all have Walgreens in our files. Slowly getting them all changed. We've had to wait between 48 and 72 hours for both antibiotics and pain meds with several incidents requiring additional Urgent Care and Emergency Department visits because Walgreens is holding the prescription hostage. Three separate times I tried to pick up prescriptions to find that it was closed because there was no pharmacist available. This is not patient-centered and I don't know how licensing boards allow them to stay open.

I accept that they are a small town pharmacy and often don't have, have to order, or can't get some of my prescriptions and I'm always flexible despite the inconvenience. However, today when the pharmacist Megan refused to fill a prescription for one of my long-standing medications and told me I needed to "tell my doctor that he needed to write another one for a lower dose" I could not believe what I was hearing. This is a medication I've been on for seven years. This is the same dose I have historically been on. This is not a narcotic medication, it's used for my MS. Where in the world does the pharmacist get off Practicing Medicine by overruling my doctor and deciding the dose of my medication??? That is between me and my doctor and we've already discussed it in office, he wrote for it, his office faxed it in and I believe they even had to do a prior-authorization. Sorry, Stuarts Draft Family Pharmacy, this is a 20 year-old on a POWERTRIP trying to overrule my DOCTOR who has been practicing medicine for longer than she's been alive. You need to fire her and then I'll come back. (will miss the rest of you, especially the senior pharmacist- and sorry for venting my frustrations to Stephanie, obviously you were being used as a shield by this egomaniac, and from your reaction, I'm sure it's not the first time)

The absolute worst prescription service that I have ever experienced. I receive alerts regularly…read morethat the pharmacy is "permanently closed" only to receive notice that they are open and operating again two days later. Evidently, they have no backup plan to keep the pharmacy open for the high staff turnover. There is no way to get your medication during this time and they will not help you with another way to do so. Also, you will sit at the drive-thru pickup window for fifteen minutes ignored, only to watch someone walk up to the counter inside and get helped right away. I receive notice that my prescription is ready for pickup, then drive to the pharmacy only to be told that it is not ready and won't be ready until the next day. If you have to call with a question, you are kept on hold for so long that you finally hang up. And their customer service is nonexistent! They either talk to you as if you completely lack the ability to comprehend what they're saying or they are just plain rude.
