Do not go to this pharmacy location. I had the worst experience I ever had with any pharmacy. The manager failed to put the "buy one get, get one free" signs for all VITAMINS. When I took my receipt, I figured out I paid for items, but did not get the free ones. Worse than that, the Customer Service failed to let me know the items were free after buying equal ones. The story doesn't end. When I asked for return, a poor knowledgeable manager (very young ) told me it's too big amount. She said it is a fraud returning over $50, while this happened due to their mistake! So even $60 for them was huge amount. I ended up only getting $30 back. Finally, the CVS manager (very young) was afraid of my attempts to tell her how to solve the problem. All these multiple mistakes are the results of poor management, and working with non-trained people. Good luck on CVS company to hire the right managers and train their customer service!!! read more

There is the absolute worst cashier that works here.. "a 71 year old man, who needs to be respected" as he likes to put it.. this is what he said to a 13 year old boy who was just trying to buy something on Easter.. When it comes to drug stores this particular CVS ranks pretty low. Why? Well its outdated, has dingy carpets, and the layout of this store is somewhat confusing. Think about how Walgreens and Duane Reade look and now compare that to CVS. Get what I'm saying? This store is usually disheveled and all of its employees are on the register. Cashiers are friendly though which is nice. Their pharmacy is ultra busy as its the only one in that neighborhood. Expect long lines at both the check out and pharmacy area. This CVS is extremely busy, all the time and I have NEVER had a prescription ready when they said it would be. Minimum wait time is 30 minutes so bring a novel and call before you go to confirm your prescription is actually ready for pickup. I am sitting here listening them tell other people the same story... I came to pick up the medication at 5:50pm 04/17/20.. The worker by the name of Joe wouldn't allow us to go inside stating that the pharmacy is closing at 6pm. I was trying to explain that 10 minutes is more than enough to pick up the medication. I was the only person outside, no line. Never had a Problem in 36 years living over here and going to the CVS. i remember when it was Save on and then Revco also. I Always get the help i need at the pharmacy and they are always there to help and nice. yes there are some managers that are rude and disrespectful in the store but that is everywhere you go. i really don't see a difference from this one or any other one on Staten Island. All seem the same to me they all have nice and rude employees. read more

The CVS location on Arden ave is pretty bad. The customer service in the Pharmacy is terrible and the long lines and waits just add to the misery. I recently waited on hold on the phone with the Pharmacy for more than 40 mins and then was hung up on instead of transferred. I would not recommend this CVS and will no longer be using this location. read more

I have always held off writing a review because anyone can have a bad day but this location continuously amazes me with the lack of stocked shelves and cashiers. The store looks more like it is going out of business instead of increasing business. Too many times, there is only 1 cashier who then has to stop what they are doing to call for help. What these people are doing in other parts of the store is unknown but one thing they are not doing is stocking shelves. One of the worst CVS locations on the island. They rarely restock their products. In the period of six months I needed to get baby formula (similac) they were always out of it. Does anybody ever check the shelves on what needs to be restocked? No infants tylenol, no basic baby items restocked. Photo machines are always down. Pharmacy doesnt pick up the phone very terrible customer service, mgr of the store stinks and doesnt care

I was dissatisfied with the overall service here at CVS at this location. I came here for the minute clinic visit on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at 9:30 AM for a physical. When I asked the nurse practitioner who she said her name was "Cara," a question on whether there is a correlation between genetics that can affect a new norm on the BMI, she simply responded, "well, that's your opinion." That was just considered rude and insulting; it was not even an opinion. I was merely asking a question and she failed to answer my question. Additionally, Cara claimed BMI to be a "very accurate" assessment of fat and said I was overweight when she didn't take into account the clothes I had on, plus she didn't even weigh me. She also said I have a lot of fat when I was actually wearing winter clothing on. She was rude and unprofessional with her responses. It seems that I literally paid her $89 out of pockets just so she can be rude to me. Not coming back here again. read more

I had my first encounter with CVS for my prescriptions. My insurance switched to CVS/Caremark. I have many health issues. Therefore, I had 11 plus prescriptions to fill. A pharmacist named Steve was the rudest person. I did not chose to have health issues. He was upset that the technician was taking too much time with me!!!! Needless to say after my experience with them,I will be returning to my Pharmacist in Brooklyn. The toll is worth being treated with respect. read more

The store in general is great. The cashiers are great, the stock people are great I have NO complaints at all except the PHARMACY. The pharmacist there KEVIN WALLACE is completely rude, arrogant and unprofessional! He humiliated me in front of about 15 people. For 2 months in a row my script was short. I let it go the 1st time but the 2nd time I called and told him. He told me to come down and he would give me the lost 5 pills. When I got there, he spoke down to me in such a condescending tone and made sure everyone heard. I just had a baby and have major postpartum so I am on some meds he may not "agree" with. He judged me by my meds and made me feel like a junkie. I walked out of the store in tears. I filed a complaint with CVS and they were great about it but never in my life has someone made me look like a lying junkie in the middle of the store. Here I am with my baby and he's telling me I'm lying and trying to scheme them. You have got to be kidding me. I understand there may be a lot of that out there but you can't just assume everyone is out to scheme you and make you look like a loser in front of EVERYONE. I was SO upset when I left there. He even had the audacity to tell me that he regretted giving me the 5 pills that were missing because he thought I was lying. He also walked away during our conversation. He just walked away!!!!! He came back but that just goes to show he didn't care at all that I was still standing there talking, trying to defend my character. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE at a pharmacy. read more
