This place SUCKS. They don't know what the **** they're doing and one day it's going to kill someone. Tried to fill a prescription there. Left them a paper prescription. I went to check on it and they said I needed a new prescription. I reminded them I had handed them a brand new one and they magically found it in their pile. They said it would be 20 minutes. Then five minutes later they refused to fill the prescription because it was a controlled substance and written by a PA and not a doctor (both of which are perfectly legal in Virginia). So whoever is the pharmacist(s) and techs at this place - they are terrible people, suck at their job, and should find work more suitable to their skills. That is to say, get to digging ditches. Oh, and as I was leaving, the cops showed up to the place because we weren't the only ones they were screwing with and they had completely lost control of the store. read more

This is not even the closest pharmacy to me- but it's the one I use. The pharmacy knows me and has helped with problems that were not theirs (drug shortages, substitutes and beaurocratic nonsense) Great personal service. I think anyone who gives out 1 star reviews needs to learn about the hoops they have to jump through daily. read more

Opened at 11am and employees began walking into the pharmacy at 11:02. Took a few more minutes to open up. The bright side is the pharmacist takes the time to work through issues , pulling my history so we could determine the variance in my payments for the same drug. Very helpful. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Waiting area at cvs - Drugstores Near Me - Stafford, Virginia

Just another reason to not shop at CVS. Went in to purchase multiple birthday cards and a Home Depot gift card. At the register, the young man ripped the back off the gift card and dropped it in the bag. I had to ask him to place the amount I needed on the gift card. He proceeded to ask me if I had the money, not once but twice as I'm standing there holding my credit card. Then needed to call a manager. When I stated that it was rude to ask if I had the money, the manager stated it's the system. If you don't have common sense you shouldn't be working with the public. read more

Pharmacy is terribly slow and un-attentive. Staff seems to forget what they're doing and wander off. One cashier told me that she's be over with my prescriptions in a moment, so I waited for her. Then she dropped the Rx in the basket with the rest and wandered off. Then came back and started stocking shelves. Luckily the line had grown due to the slowness of the cashier, so I had time to write this review. AWESOME. UPDATE - now that I've spend 40 minutes in lines here, they run out of receipt paper. So I have more time to write reviews. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. read more

I would leave 0 stars if possible, this pharmacy has been nothing short of worthless for the past 2 years " oh we're under staffed " mean while 4 employees in the pharmacy standing around joking without a care in the world. With a long line of customers . Is what you should expect when walking in here Drive through is typically closed at odd hours or " out of service " Stay away Go somewhere else read more

This pharmacy is constantly making it challenging to just have my routine prescriptions filled. Whether it's their system flagging the refill or trying to get additional authorization from my prescriber, it's always something. Not to mention I get a text that I can come pick up my medications and that they will only hold them for 8 days. Just to get here and be told I'll need to wait another HALF HOUR til they are all ready for me. If you have alternative options I recommend you just go to another pharmacy. read more

Avoid if at all possible. Slow, disorganized and rude. After waiting patiently for quite a while, I had a young, female pharmacy tech adorned with multiple tatts and piercings search for my prescription. Now I'm OK with you looking unprofessional, but I draw the line at acting unprofessional. After not finding it for a while, she called me out in front of other customers by asking me loudly "Well, what's the prescription for?!" While a line of several customers were behind me also waiting. It happened to be something I'd rather keep private. Zero discretion or respect for privacy here. Come here if you want slow service, rude treatment, and public humiliation. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever! I was at the drive-through at 8:58, waited until 9:10 before I called the store. I was told the drive-through was closed. There was no sign on the window to let customers know this. This is unacceptable. I know the person working saw me and could hear that there was someone waiting. How cruel must you be?! read more

Absolutely pathetic service from the pharmacist! Do not come here! We were there for our 6pm covid shot appointment. We got there before time, signed in and were asked to wait by the minute clinic. 630 rolled by and we weren't given any heads up that some one will be with or that the pharmacist is busy with other things. All this time we could see pharmacy employees in the pharmacy working with their masses pulled down and being used as chin covers! We asked on what is the delay after waiting for 30 minutes and were told oh we are short staffed. No estimate on when pharmacist will get free. All this while we were simply made to sit without any help. Absolutely horrible! stay away... read more

The pharmacy was extremely busy this morning, but the associates were very helpful and courteous. I was able to transfer a sitting prescription I had in HI to here with no issues and was informed throughout the refill process of my approximate wait time. read more

Well, I've never had a good experience at CVS, any CVS. They say 20 minutes to wait and it's an hour EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have never been in and out quick. One person at the register in the pharmacy and 7 people in the back area. They can't be filling prescriptions though or it wouldn't take an hour to get one. Don't know what's going on. But I know I don't like it here. read more

At least this CVS is very a friendly store and great staff. If you shop using your coupons, you will win! Otherwise, over-priced. Use your coupons and sign-up for the app. I always receive a 40% coupon almost twice a month. read more

The store itself is great and convenient, but the service at the pharmacy has always been poor. I've used this pharmacy for many years and I've always had some sort of problem when it came to prescriptions. Most of the staff is apathetic, with the exception of a couple people who were always friendly (one young man in particular was always very helpful). The final time I went, my last refill had disappeared from the system. The CVS I use now is MUCH better. Switching pharmacies was the answer, and I hope this one improves over time. read more

Pharmacy is terrible. They have zero customer service skills and make you wait too long in the pick up window line even when there is no one else waiting. May be worth the drive another mile or so to the other CVS if it's any better. Now very hard to have staff stationed for window purposes along with staff to take care of those inside. Get with the program. read more

I transferred to DC for work a little over 6 months ago and haven't had to deal with a pharmacy because my family has been good. With that said, we went here for our flu shots and were turned away because the pharmacy clerk couldn't figure how to input our insurance (that was already in the system) for the shots. She said that this CVS didn't participate in my organization's flu shot program so I called the insurance and they directed me to a CVS agreement with the insurance company to provide the flu shots. So...I went back and lo a behold a new pharmacy clerk did exactly the same thing. This time I called the insurance directly and the clerk finally admitted she didn't know how to enter the insurance information. Not only did she not know how to process it but the entire group, including the Buffon of a pharmacist, had no clue what to do, so they sent us away again. (BTW, Target processed our flu shots in minutes without issue and our information wasn't even with them!) The straw that broke the camels back came this morning after my wife picked up an incredibly delayed prescription. She woke up this morning and started vomiting uncontrollably and couldn't stop. She called the pharmacy and they said she was having an adverse reaction to the MEDs and not to take them further. She called the doctor's office and looked online and found that the medication requires a meal before taking it. CVS, said nothing and didn't print the need for food on the label!!! These guys are a joke, don't even bother going to them, try CVS pharmacy down the road or Target. read more

The worst!! Again!!! Computers Down! Didn't get order! Don't have in stock! "Go home. Call back." Can't call back: Recording needs an rx number Duh. I have no rx number. A new script. Won't put thru. Called front area. Need pharmacist. Call the pharmacy. I can't. I don't have an rx. You can't call here. You need the pharmacy. I can't call the pharmacy. I was told to go home and wait that your computers were down (again) Look for the rx. You have the rx, not me. Angry. She gets someone from pharmacy. I give him all info. He says wait. I wait thru their god awful tinny "music". Can I help you? No, someone is helping me. He told me to help you. Your name? I have him all that info. He didn't give it to me. I could go on. I won't. They called me the same day 1 of my daughter's pediatrician electronically sent a script their way. They told me they didn't have the product in stock. I asked could they send my script to a nearby CVS to have it filled. Staff said they will check other CVS & call me back. They called back informing no other locations they tried had the product in stock. I called this store the next day asking if they could order so I could get the script filled. Staff said they had it on site & I would be able to pickup that afternoon. Today, Saturday, August 20 is my next opportunity to pickup script. I am here right now (1:53p) to pickup the same medication prescribed to both of my daughters from their pediatrician. I went to the drop-off area 1st to get 1 of my daughter's script refilled (because I was able to get 1 script filled at a CVS in Fairfax days before). The staff informed the medication is NOT in stock they can order it on Monday. NOT enthused with this response because I am here picking up the same medication for my other daughter. I went to the pick up area to get my other daughter's script & mine. I asked the same staff if they will have to order this medication every time I have to refill it (because I have 2 daughters with this script & they each have 2 refills; reason why I tried to refill 1 at the same time I am picking up the other script). Staff said they ordered it, but they must have ordered ONE bottle for 1 of my 2 scripts. And didn't bother to order additional in case I don't have to refill the medication...uh, could they at least ordered 3 bottles?! I get it, don't waste money having a product that isn't purchased very often. As I am typing this review staff said they will use the 2nd bottle on site for a REFILL...HALLELUJAH! This review went from a 1 (ONE) to a 4 read more

This has to be the worst pharmacy in all of Virginia. I've dropped off prescriptions on multiple occasions, told it would be ready in an hour, only to come back and they not have the prescription in stock. Given a new date/time, come back again, and the prescription again not be there. Another time they lied and said they didn't have a prescription, sent me to another CVS. That CVS didn't have it and called back to the CVS who turned me away the first time, and lo and behold, they DO have the prescription in stock. I went back up there and got the prescription and they didn't even apologize for giving me the run around. I don't plan to ever use them again. I'll go to Dan's Pharmacy up the road, or another CVS further away. Less convenient for me but service is good. Justin that works there that is pretty cool though. He's tried on several occasions to improve the experience there. Had to at least give him a shout out. read more

The absolute worst pharamacy of all the CVS pharmacy's I've been to, and that says a lot. Yesterday my sister and I tried dropping off a prescription through the drive thru and was sitting there for God knows how long beeping the call button trying to get the attention of 3 people working in the pharamacy clearly ignoring us, we end up going in and talking to the pharamasists (which took about 10 or more minutes trying to get them to acknowledge us btw) and apparently they're "having trouble with their system" okay? That's fine, but what isn't fine is that they couldn't put up a sign outside to save others the time? Or even signal us to show it isnt working? Also its probably bull because I saw another car in the drive thru doing exactly what we did and you can clearly hear her buzzing the call button. We ended yo getting the prescription at the target CVS (amazing customer service as always) but my sister needed another refill and my father accidentally calling in the order at that same incompetant CVS, and they told him it was ready and can pick it up immediately. So I leave my house and get there probably 20 minutes after they had already said it was ready to go, and come to be met with the same inexcusable routine of not being acknowledged for 15 minutes, woman comes up with terrible attitude, and says "itll be ready in 10 minutes".. yeah right I got the prescription after waiting for 40 minutes. I can not make up how terrible their pharamacy is, but at least the workers on the floor make up for their pharamacy's complete awfulness. read more

This pharmacy is not great. They never can get tricare correct for some reason (despite us having no issues anywhere else) and then tell us to go talk to the insurance when it's their cvs system which has the problem. When we talk to insurance they tell us to tell cvs they're messing it up and the person working(same rude lady) says that's not possible. We can go to any other pharmacy(and do) without issue. We have bad customer service with the same gal. She's fast but rude. A few times I tried being extra nice in case she has a crummy life or something and still the same rude exchange. I tried using this place for a couple of months now and we have decided to try one of the smaller local pharmacies. Also if our insurance gives us ID cards with member numbers then cvs should consider using those numbers instead of refusing to (or can't) run the member id number and asking us for a social security number in a public place with a lot of people around. There is a reason they issue us all cards with the member numbers on it! read more
