The prices are great; in fact, I'd go as far to say that the local chains (Big Y, Stop 'n Shop) can't touch their prices. Their produce selection is amazing, and sometimes they carry local produce, which is always a bonus. Our budget is always met when we shop at Price Rite. If you're not into the heavy crowds that show up, especially on weekends, go late in the evenings on a weekday night for your weekly shopping. We're NEVER disappointed when we go at 8pm on a Wednesday night!

He accused me of stealing the items as I walked in and was not only rude but very unkind. Due to the weight of my return, the long walk to the register and my breathing condition I was not breathing well when I first encountered him. Although he could see I wasn't breathing well he continued to ask me questions insisting I answer him instantly. He treated me as if I was a child doing something wrong. I am a 48 year old woman . The policy is 7 days for perishables and 30 days for other items. It has been 4 hours. After I was banned from doing returns he followed me out of the store harassing me the entire way. He is a terrible manager and a unkind, unintelligent, cold, rude person. Everytime I shop there when he's working he's always just standing up front doing nothing. I won't be shopping there again. $17 return vs over $500 a month in sales. Not bright!!!

I am getting so very tired of people telling me they are going to call the police when I know I did nothing wrong this is the second time I have had an issue with this store the first time was with an employee getting a full attitude when I just asked a question. I have been putting my bags in the front and I have bought over $100 worth of food items. I was just using the bathroom and preparing myself some dinner. I thought this was a rest stop I am very disappointed at the way in which I was treated I understand if you suspect someone is stealing in that cast check the camera, but I am not a thief I am a hard working, tax paying citizen who has fallen on hard times and I did not appreciate the banging on the bathroom door like it was going to be taken off the hinges and being told, "Get Out My Store," and no reason given by the manager, just get out !! This is our primary go-to for adult beverages, as it's on the way home from work, and a quick in and out. It's obviously much more limited than a traditional package store, but makes up for it in convenience. Limited parking spaces out front, plus there's usually an off-duty ambulance parked in the handicapped space. Entrance to parking lot/gas pumps from Tapley/Bay St. is super bumpy. Cops are usually parked two at a time on site. The Dunkin' Donuts here is the second worst in the area (worst goes to the Irving Station off of Roosevelt and Bay St.) Their coolattas/frozen coffees are NEVER frozen and always only slightly slushy. Donuts are stale, too. Weird drive-thru set up, only accessible from the side of the building closest to St. James Ave. Other than some minor issues (like those mentioned above), this is a quick and easy stop for almost anything you need or forgot about... including, apparently, the Valentine's Day flowers I received.
