Their prices are comparable to all other pharmacy chains. The value is outstanding. I highly recommend the Westport Apothecary. It's a real gem in a world where the remaining pharmacies have become retail chains with personalized services that evaporated when the giant conglomerates bought up all the independent pharmacies.

I'm sure the pharmacist had good intentions, but the lack of proper communication with the patient is inexcusable. Overall disappointing experience.

Nothing has compared to Walgreens on Purchase St. They answer their phones, are pleasant to speak to and they are extremely efficient. I am now one year seizure free and I can honestly say that I owe it to Odilia and her staff at Walgreens on Purchase St. They put my needs first and make sure I always have my medication in on time (even when they are specialty medication). I can (figuratively) breathe now and I no longer have the stress every month of worrying if I will have my meds on time. It truly has been the biggest relief and in my case, a lifesaver.

We were immediately struck by the more personal service we received here compared to the larger pharmacy chains and also the ability to be in and out quickly because the prescriptions were ready and there was never a mob of people waiting. The only somewhat negative thing preventing a five-star rating is that some prescriptions, such as meds for a child's ear infection, are not kept in stock and cannot be immediately filled after a child's sick visit with the doctor. Every single person working the window is quick, competent, professional, friendly, and efficient. If there is ever a line, which is rare, it never seems to be due to the employees, but the customers, and as soon as that person is finished, the line clears right up again. Any time I've had some issue that prevented an under-two-minutes pickup of my prescription, it was due to something other than the people at this location, like the insurance company. In several years of using this pharmacy, I have never had a problem caused by them. That is a huge contrast to when I used both another pharmacy company in the area which would tell me my Rx was ready when it wasn't, and another Walgreens at a different location where it took almost an hour for them to figure out how to put my insurance info in their system. These people at this location clearly take pride in their jobs, and it shows. I recommend them to anyone I hear complain about a pharmacy. Oh and I did go inside once for a covid vaccination, and they did that well, too. But I almost never go inside, so I can't really speak as confidently about that part.

This time however was different. I waited over half an hour and the guy pulls me into the garage to show me that my vehicle is not found. I thought this was weird because I just renewed my registration in January so I tried calling to RMV and the wait time was well over an hour. Instead I went to the RMV website and looked up my registration status. Sure enough it was active and all my info was correct. I called Bliss to let them know that my car is registered and there must have been something wrong on their end. He tells me that he will try it one more time but will not waste his time on my vehicle all day because I'm the one with the problem not them. So I told him if I am wasting his time then I would like my money back and I can try somewhere else. Then he proceeded to tell me that he was doing me a favor by allowing me to go back for free after this problem was sorted out (which is not the case because I paid for an inspections ticker and have yet to receive one) and that he's gonna be real nice to me by allowing me to get my money back and go elsewhere because my vehicle was wasting his time. Staff is incredibly rude and take forever only to do a mediocre job or not complete the job at all. Do not go here if you can avoid it. Never going back to Bliss Express.
