This is the worst pharmacy in San Antonio. They never have accurate records. Their appointment system is inaccurate (I have had to show email confirmation because their system had no record of actual vaccination appointments) the staff in the pharmacy are rude and have zero hussle. read more

First thing I hear when I get to the pharmacy is "it's going to be at least twenty minutes because we are really backed up." And yet I see customers coming up with their stuff to pay and even the pharmacist accepting payments. Why am I kept waiting, here for a vaccine, and people are just able to walk up and pay. The pharmacy should be for pharmacy related transactions CVS! I do not appreciate that I am kept waiting but people who arrive after me are attended to. Very rude! You guys don't know what busy is, to me both of you working back there are slow, disorganized, and could not keep up with demand at some of the other locations I have used. This CVS is one of many in the area! Located off of Blanco Rd. And Wurzbach Pkwy, it is very convenient to get in and out and back on the road to go about your day! They really do have a little bit of everything here! Need propane? They can refill or swap out your containers. Looking for some makeup or perfume? They have a great selection inside. Also if you're needing some medicine or need to fill a prescription, you can take advantage of their large over the counter selection or utilize the drive through window! The only real downfall to this CVS is sometimes they seem to be a little short staffed which can make it difficult if you can't find something you're looking for. read more

Sorry about two months overdue review. But ya know I now hold the other CVS stores accountable on why they are not like this one! I was astounded when I walked in and walked past the first two isles and I heard a voice out of nowhere say, "Hi, Welcome." I looked around and saw no one. I backtracked and saw a CVS employee shelving something. I asked if he said something. He said yes. I laughed and thought that was nice of him. (Usually does not happen at other stores, just saying). The pharamacist is a comic. He gives me two injections (shingles and pneumonia). He asked me, "which one do you want first. The one that hurts the most or the other one?" I thought he was kidding. That Shingles shot HURT!. I did not give him a hard time because he took the time to call the insurance to verify some information. Ok, now on my way out, I hear another CVS employee walking by say to me "have a nice day." as I was walking out of the store. Thank you for the courtesy greeting and just being down to earth. It gives me a feeling of what every neighborhood store should be like. read more

I went to this location, which is not my neighborhood location To get a flu shot since the one I normally go to, inside of target, has poor hours for people who are working during the week to be able to get a flu shot. I get there about two hours before they closed and went right back to the pharmacy to ask what I need to do. I saw the pharmacist and what I'm assuming with the technician and yet neither one of them acknowledged me for quite some time. They've got three separate lines at CVS. One is for a consultation, one is for picking up your prescription and another one is for dropping your prescription off. There was a sign that said to get your flu shots here at the consultation area so that's Where I was standing. On one of the social distance circles on the floor and I didn't see anyone else in line behind me nor did I see anyone else in line at the drop off window. I did see 78 people hovering around the pick up window but since the pharmacist and the technician has still not ask me how they could help me I figured it was best not to bother them since I knew that I was in the right spot already. Well after maybe 10 minutes, a woman who is with the group hovering around the consultation window came over to me and told me that she didn't want me to waste my time but that the pharmacist had said to them that all of the lines had been merged into just one at pick up and I should join them at the back of the line. It was clear that out of the 78 people that were in that line, five of them were a family and I knew that it wouldn't be too long before the pharmacist got to everyone in the line. Well after another 15 minutes of waiting in this line and not one of them has been helped yet I asked the person directly in front of me how long they had been waiting. She gave me this irritated look in rolled rice and said almost 40 minutes And that they were all waiting for flu shots.That's ridiculous. Flu shots are going To become a huge part of the American experience in the next couple of weeks. They were only two employees behind the counter. One technician who was at the drive-through window the entire time I was there which was almost 40 minutes myself, and the pharmacist who also never once said hello to any of us in line. Pharmacy staff at CVS need to have their expectations and priorities readjusted at some point because you're gonna end up with a large crowd of people trying to get flu shots but the pharmacy staff is going to be trying hard to work on prescriptions which they know are directly what affects their key performance metrics. Either that or add additional staff that can help get flu shots while the pharmacist fills prescriptions. As for me, I thought to myself that I would just come back in an hour but once I left I had no interest in getting back out and so they lost my business that night. read more

It was difficult getting in and out of here, since this is at the corner of Blanco and Wurzbach Parkway, which is a very busy intersection. Unprofessional staff. Walked in 6mins before 10 they told me at that time to hurry up. I said ok I would. I'd Walked straight to the back where a man yelled from the back of the store to the front "I told you to lock the door a long time ago. How are THEY getting in here. What's she doing back here?" The rest of the staff also yelling about how they need to close...Checked my phone it was still a few minutes before 10pm... until they proceeded to rudely rush me out without finding/buying what I came for. read more

After being told wrong details and incorrect information, I was placed on a 25 minute hold. Then, I got to speak to a female pharmacist that was so rude and I could tell I was taking up her precious time with my inconvenient situation. I had to hang up with her because she was not helpful and I had spent my entire lunch break trying to get help but, instead, I was given attitude. Later, while in a conference call with CVS Corporate, she raised her voice at me, declaring that, in our initial conversation, when she informed me to call someone else for help, she wasn't able to tell me because I hung up on her. We should be joining together every day, show empathy, and realize that there is no room for petty, privileged people if we want to improve as a society. read more

The pharmacy at this location is terrible. They are extremely unhelpful, unfriendly and are very slow to provide any type of service. I had an appointment for a booster and after 30 minutes, still waiting. Save yourself the trouble and don't use this pharmacy. I have transferred everything to H-E-B and this will be my last visit here. read more

I took a covid test on Friday Dec 31 and still no results 4 days later. They said I would get results in 1-2 days but no results. Others went to another another CVS and got results in 1.5 days. Why? I always believed CVS is one of the better pharmacies but not this one. read more

I have been using this CVS for a while now, and I have started to notice their prices for drugs skyrocketing. What's up with that? I have been getting some eye drops here for my dog. Paid over $50 last month and today the price has shot up to over $90. So I called my vet ophthalmologist and they have it for $25. That's just ridiculous. Also Synthroid is now costing me almost $50 per month. That said, I have always loved CVS and I hope these are just anomalies. The lesson here for me is to shop before you buy your drugs!! UPDATE - CVS just called and found another discount card. Dropping the price down to $21 for the eye drops. I really appreciated the effort, so wanted to update their review. read more

Since we moved here a few months ago, this store has been our go-to for quick grocery trips and of course, prescriptions. I've used cvs for filling prescriptions off and on for years and the staff here is just wonderful. They're courteous and informative and actually try to get your stuff ready early or at least on time. The store itself is well kept, too. I shop for makeup here quite a bit and one lady is always in the cosmetics aisle stocking or straightening things up and she makes a point to talk to me every time I'm in there. It's nice to have a true neighborhood pharmacy feel in a big city! read more
