Since I was going to have a 15 min wait and because I'm 73, I moved a chair from the flu shot waiting area to the front of the queue where I'd been standing. I had every intention of moving the chair back to its place as soon as the pharmacy reopened. It would never occur to me to leave the chair in the aisle where people were lined up waiting. When the pharmacy reopened, the young adult male manager called me out for moving the chair, instructing me to return it to its place, as if I needed to be told to do that, and when I tried to explain why I moved the chair he kept talking over me, not allowing to explain. He never considered that I might be sick or need help. He never offered to help me with the chair. He was all about calling me out for moving the chair. Well. I guess he got his say. Now I've had mine.

In the world of chain pharmacies- this is not done. One of the major chain stores will not even honor requests for specific manufacturers of generic drugs. By law, these generic medications are allowed a 40% leeway from the original formula. Your heart medication or seizure medication if generic, only has to be 40% as effective- and they are selling it to you. If that's not disturbing enough, these chains will switch to the least expensive (to the chains) every month. It's vulgar, dangerous, and dehumanizing. I know that part is not under the employee's control but her attitude is. They need to consider putting her in a different part of the store where she is not so customer facing... I gladly took my items and went to a checkout counter several aisles away where a cashier greeted me nicely and was super prompt.
