Pharmacy is slow.... Took several days to fill 10 day supply of as needed medication. Don't do due diligence when it comes to insurance. (Had a prescription that is covered with zero copay but was denied due to coding. Of note prior to COVID had 24 hour pharmacy hours at Clayton & Brentwood location with super diligent staff. Now the hours are same as mom & pop pharmacies with poor customer service. I also receive a medication from CVS specialty pharmacy and the staff other than the actual pharmacist were slow and uniformed. I really liked CVS pre-COVID. Drug store that is convenient and easy to get to. They have a pretty good rewards program that offers various coupons to help save money. The staff that I've encountered are always so nice and polite. They have a drive through pharmacy window, plenty of parking, and convenient self checkout options as well. read more

CVS is great to get any pharmacy or snack needs you may have. Joining rewards is free and it provides so many deals each week that it saves a lot of money! Everyone should join the rewards for that reason. read more

Better selection and lower prices for most items compared to many other nearby convenience stores.

If I could give them a ZERO I would. I purchased something and the digital coupon in the app did not apply and I said I'd like to return the item please. The manager, Nathan... took the receipt and said a firm NO! We don't do that. I said sir, you don't accept any return a with a receipt? I spent close to $50. He said no...if the coupon didn't apply it's not our fault and we can't do the return. I didn't have the energy to argue and just said ok...even though I knew I had the right to return the item... read more

If you need to call and speak to anyone be prepared to be on hold for an hour. When they pick up be ready to speak immediately or they will hang up and you can call back and spend another hour on hold. I once was given medication with no instructions useable instructions on how to take it. They put the instructions for pre-packaged does when they the gave me the unpre-packaged doses. Other than it having a drive through there is no reason to use this pharmacy. Go elsewhere if you can. read more

Been going into this cvs a while now, it has been 5 or six times now that a woman in the pharmacy named Christina (Tina) , that does nothing but complain , the last time , was I need to retire , oh look I filled your prescription by myself , I'm tired, She does nothing but complains ! I'm nicer than to add the other things that were said in past ! The manager told me he is working to fix problem , seems like nice guy, the pharmacist seems nice and seems to be legitimately concerned about her patients , this has been a issue that has been ongoing, And apparently not just by me . read more

It's a drug store. A chain drug store and it meet my needs. I was at the dentist awhile back and they took my blood pressure before they started work on my implants. I was a BP monitor style that I had not seen before and it was a CVS brand. Instead of a regular cuff that I'd have to put around my arm, this one slipped over the wrist. So easy. My regular doctor wants me to check my BP on the regular, so I came here to buy one. It was an easy find in the store and a great value when compared to the Omron brand also available in the store. Store was well organized and the staff was able to answer my questions about my investment in a new BP monitor. I'll be back? - I own stock in Walgreen's, but I just may be back to this store. They did a good job. read more

Honestly words cannot describe how rude and unhelpful the pharmacist was on the phone. I'm so glad this isn't my home location.

This review relates to the pharmacy only. The staff here have very little discretion when it comes to discussing sensitive client information in front of store employees and other customers. The pharmacy staff use a computer across the pharmacy to check on the status of your medications when you walk in to pick up a prescription, this requires the customer to share their medical information audibly enough for the tech to hear across the pharmacy. They will ask your name, date of birth, and the medications you are picking up - so if you feel uncomfortable sharing this information loudly enough for all of the pharmacy employees, and nearby store guests and employees to hear; I would suggest using a different pharmacy. Walgreens at Clayton and Big Bend is very close and has a much more confidential pharmacy. I have filled my Rx here 3 times, and 2 of the 3 left me feeling very embarrassed by the pharmacy staff. The first time I had to shout my name, DOB, medications across the pharmacy. The next time the pharmacist read my medications to me from across the pharmacy as they were pulled from the bin; loudly enough for all customers in line behind to hear which medications I take. If your medication is out of stock they cannot switch it to a different location for pick up, or return your Rx to fill elsewhere. The only option is to wait for the new order to arrive. Last time this happened to be I went 8 days without my medication as I was waiting for CVS's new order to arrive. I only started going to CVS because my insurance provider told me that my Rx's would be less expensive at CVS. One Rx is less than $1 cheaper and the other two cost a few dollars more than they did at Walgreens. I'm going to switch back. read more

While asking the cashier to check me out, she said "there's self check out right there." WHILE SHE WAS ON THE CLOCK GETTING PAID TO BE A CASHIER. I wanted her to take care of it because I always pay partially in cash when I have cash on me, and the remainder on my card, so I do not get coins back. When I was having issues getting the multi-payment working, and asked her if she can just help me, she stated "maybe you should help yourself and put money in your bank account." Horrible experience- no one should talk to anyone like this. Came back in later in the day, as I was busy at the time, to speak with a manager- and one was not on sight. I would avoid this CVS, as the person in charge of hiring, obviously is not hiring qualified people. After going back to speak with the manager once she is back in, I will NEVER be back. UPDATE- I came in tonight June 20, 2021 and spoke with the manager and explained what went on. All she had to say was OK. Not I'm sorry for your interaction here, I apologize for how she spoke to you, nothing. Just looked me in the face and said OK. Definitely escalating this to customer relations. read more

Rudest pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the St Louis area. Not once, not twice but multiple occasions. They're not only rude they don't know how to work their system to accommodate 90 day prescriptions and won't synchronize your prescriptions. I thought they were just ageist but nope, overheard them being rude to everyone. read more

Went in a little after 8am this morning. There was no cashier or anyone working at all. I called out 3-4 times "hello, anyone working here?" No response. Maybe they were in the bathroom? I left my stuff on the counter and walked out. Someone could have robbed the place and CVS would have no clue until they reviewed the video cameras. Someone was read more

I go to this CVS due to proximity to my house i didn't want to keep driving to Target when i have this pharmacy nearby. The store never has a lot of people in it and it's more expensive than Target for similar products. They always greet me when i walk in the door but that's about as helpful as they are. I always hear the staff gossiping or they will complain about other customers to me when I'm checking out. Someone who seemed like a manager was talking to a pharmacist about writing up an employee that couldn't come in for a childcare issue in front of me while i was checking out instead of in private or behind the counter. I will continue to shop here when I'm in a bind but it may be worth it to make the drive to Target. read more

My girlfriend and I both needed a few things. We went our separate ways, found what we needed and got in line to check out. The line was a little intimidating, but it moved quickly. Timothy was our friendly and chatty check-out clerk. He was a delight. I didn't look around much in the store, but everything seemed to be well-labeled and appropriately shelved, and the store was clean. Most of the customers were in the check-out line. read more

Pretty clean store but the staff is always completely clueless. They mess up coupons frequently which is frustrating. However I visit this location frequently because it's on my way home from work. Parking is easy and available. There is also a redbox at this location which is awesome! The redbox is located on the exterior of the store. read more

They didn't care about any of the 6 patients waiting after they were all tolf there medication was ready. I had to wait 30 minutes for a prescription that was supposed to be already filled. Other people were waiting longer where they were called there because there perscription was supposed to be ready and filled for them but instead they had to wait at least 45 minutes. The CVS in the Schnucks on Loughborough is HORRIBLE. My doctor called in another blood pressure medicine for me on Monday. They texted me that it was ready to be picked up, but it wasn't ready. They had to order it. About 1:00 today I talked to them and they said it was almost ready and they would let me know. While I was talking to them I had them refill my other 2 blood pressure medicines yet on their web page it says they were filled 2 weeks ago.. I have been there twice in the last 2 weeks and nothing was said about it. I need a new pharmacy! read more
