Once they got to closing time they simply picked the phone up and hung it up on me after sitting there for nearly an hour. So incredibly unprofessional and just flat out rude. 800 number doesn't deal with the type of prescription we need filled for my child so I have to hold whenever they give us the runaround and make it impossible to fill his prescription that he has to have to function in school. I am going to research new pharmacies after tonight because I am tired of the incredibly inconsiderate treatment to their patients. I am a nurse and I wouldn't dare hang up on a patient nor speak to them in the manner these folks do. Patients holding for so long when they can't speak to the 800 number is also just inexcusable. Covid is over, your staffing shortages have been reduced, find a new reason to be so awful!

So, you ask yourself, why the heck would she say that and give them five stars?? Well, while it is a huge issue for me that I cannot fill prescriptions there with the coverage of my insurance, I ended up there the other night because CVS has decided, in their infinite wisdom, that this portion of Iowa does not need the ability to fill a prescription at 10 p.m. at night. My son, who was in the ER until his release at 10 p.m., would likely disagree. He really needed pain meds, and I had very few options to fill the script. I ended up at Walgreens, resolving that his physical health and well-being was more important than the cost-savings of waiting until morning to fill the prescription. They quoted me the price, and I told them I would deal... it wasn't enormous, and it was better than making him suffer until morning. The pharmacist was very nice. I couldn't fault her for the lame fact that they do not take military insurance. I waited, and they filled the script. When I went to pay, she told me she had found a discount (I honestly have no idea if this was a coupon lying around or the fact that I happened to have a shoppers' card, but either way...). I saved about half on the script and my son slept better that night with the pain meds I was able to get for him. If Walgreens starts taking my insurance again, I will likely not bother with CVS anymore. I much prefer being able to fill and emergency prescription and having a nice pharmacist available to talk to, even in the wee hours of the night. 24 hour pharmacy... what a novel concept!!

Main at Locust was able to sync all of my scripts so refills are all the same day. They were able to to secure authorization to ore- package my meds into pillow pack strips that have each days meds together by the time of day to take them. Makes my life MUCH easier! Yay!! Huger thank you to all of the staff that worked with me today to get scripts transferred, synced, and definitely simplified my life!

DON"T USE ANY Osco pharmacy, which, of course, includes the one in East Moline, Illinois!…read more I selected this location because they were a 24 hour pharmacy. They stopped that without telling customers. I pulled up to the driveway window to receive my prescription and the curtain was down. I had to go without my meds. and make another trip the next day. Osco had a very good system online to manage my prescriptions. Then they changed to a different system, which likely cost less because it does not work well. Every few months I sign on and it shows I don't have any prescriptions. Each time I have to call the toll-free line. Each time I'm told they will correct it within six hours. That is a lie. On Sunday 2-25-2024, I submitted a refill request which needed doctors approval. My doctor's office is very responsive. They usually approve refills in one day. The system didn't show the order was in process two days later so I called there. I was told then that my doctor hadn't approved the refills. That was another lie. They told me to call my doctors office to speed the process up. I had an appointment the next day so I brought the subject up. They told me they didn't receive a request and they believe there is a problem with Osco's online system. They were not informed about the problem. I then called the pharmacy and was told system-wide has been down for a week with no information when it will be fixed. They were in lie-mode when I was told my doctor's office was the problem. Today I started moving my prescriptions to a new place. I feel the relief already. The common reply from them is to ask the reviewer to contact them. No thank you. I'm done with their rude behavior and lies.

Pharmacist was beyond rude. I work at a pediatric clinic and we were trying to send a medication…read morethere that needed to be compounded for a patient. Instead of politely saying "we don't compound medications at this pharmacy" his exact words were "no, I'm not doing all that work when there's a commercial product available. It's quite labor intensive and I haven't compounded omeprazole in at least 15 years". All other compounding pharmacies will make this medication with no questions asked but because this medication takes mixing, he just didn't want to do it. Very unprofessional and very unpleasant.

After 30 minutes waiting in line, and seeing just one customer waited on, I left the store, along with 2 other people who left in discuss. I just had a molar pulled and really needed the pain relief too. Horrific service and I'll NEVER use Walgreens again, especially when there's a CVS right across the street. On the way out, I saw some cashews on sale for $2.98, I went to buy them so it wasn't a complete wasted trip, but the cashier tried to charge me $7.58!! Apparently there's a secret club and I wasn't entitled to buy anything on sale because I'm not a member. I threw the cashews down and left . I only went to this Walgreen's because the one closer to me on 16th St in Moline doesn't have a pharmacy.. Imagine that, a drug store that doesn't sell drugs!
