In the late nineties it was a great place to grab a cup of coffee and sit and chat with the locals. However in recent years, the service and the quality of employees who work at this location has taken a serious dive and done a disservice to the community which surrounds it. I have met several of these people outside of their prior place of employment and they have all told me the same thing: The people who run this gas station are rude, mean, manipulative liars who cycle through employees as if they get a tax break based on how many people they can push out of there every calendar year. Nobody ever has a smile on their face and the bathrooms are among the worst in the Quad Cities. The place is downright filthy and disgusting and I'm sure it's devalued the homes in the area a great deal. I have finally made the commitment to not spend my hard earned money at this gas station ever again. It's pathetic, and most of the gas pumps are non functioning anyway. When something breaks, it would take months for these people to hire somebody to fix it. Only regret in posting this review is that it can't be zero stars instead of one. Nasty.

The person inside told me there was no chip reader and to insert my card the other way and hit credit to make it work. She did not offer to run the card inside. The yes/no buttons on the pump are so faded, I'm not sure I was able to indicate credit accurately, but nonetheless, the transaction failed again. Annoyed, I went up the road to the next station and fueled. While I was there, I received notice that the Git N Go had charged my card $95.64. I went back to the station, and the worker showed very little concern and offered no solutions for fixing the problems. Beware.

If you have a prescription that they don't have at their store you have to go to a different location. They won't have it sent to the nearest store, you must drive to the neighboring city or state. Now the new store has your prescription. If you want it refilled you have to call the first store ask them to call the second store to get your prescription back so you don't have to drive all over God's green acres to get a refill. Now if you have a few automatic refills they send you text reminders that your prescription is ready for pick up. They don't tell you which prescription or which location so you are forced to start calling before you drive everywhere. Now this leads to the dreaded canned piano music you are forced to listen to while you are on hold. What happened to customer service? I've always dealt with Walgreen's prior to my insurance changing and forcing me to CVS. If the Walgreen's pharmacy was out at their location, they contacted other locations and had it sent to the original location for pick up. I'm very dissatisfied with CVS. And no, this isn't just a one time occurrence. This has happened 3 times in the 10 months I've been using them.
