It was my first time ordering through the CVS Health app for pick up at this location since moving to the area. I was promptly greeted by each employee that I walked by. Retrieving my online order was seamless. I even had time to grab a couple more items to take advantage of the 30% off perk I snagged by being a CVS member. The store was organized and clean. When I arrived home I noticed whomever fulfilled my online order included complimentary Haribo Goldbears and a CVS sticker. What a kind gesture! It certainly left an impression on me. read more

This CVS pharmacy is a joke. Everytime I come here there is a problem or miscommunication. Abraham who just stands around looking like a lost chicken has no idea what to do other than ask your birthday over and over and over again. At this point I'm expecting a damn birthday card from him when it comes around. Calls and confirms my prescriptions are ready then I get here for the 3rd time in a row and of course they have no clue what happened to it. If I could give this zero stars I would. Throughout the end of my high risk pregnancy, and two surgeries immediately after - not ONCE has my stuff been ready on time or in stock. I NEVER revive a call or message if they don't have what I need, I'll have a prescription sent at 8am and it's still not ready at 4p. I'd rather double my commute for a competent team. My husband is currently at store number THREE because this team didn't alert us they were out of stock and input the wrong address to a store that had what we needed. Mind you I got surgery at 7am. Luckily it's just pain meds but what if it was a more serious medication? Clearly quarterly training reviews need to happen here. This is the ONLY store I've had a problem with. Today I acquired Cottenelle bath tissue for a great deal and earned 5 dollars towards another purchase. For anyone wondering all other paper is made from trees and therefore abrasive. This place is horrible. It's supposed to be a 24 hour drive thru pharmacy and the service is astronomically slow. I sat in the car with my crying toddler for close to two hours waiting. Once we got to the window, we had to wait even longer just for the ONLY worker in the pharmacy to say "hold on." I wish I could give 0 stars. I've used this CVS since I was a child, and it was always our go to pharmacy location. For the past few years however, this location has become the worst CVS I've ever been too. I usually don't leave reviews this low, but this place has the WORST customer service, never answers their phone, and is just an awful pharmacy. I am currently sick and went to this pharmacy last night around 7pm. I went through the drive-thru, which is a long wait- however that's normal for a pharmacy. My friend and I finally got up to the window and I told them my date of birth and what I was coming to pick up. They informed me that they only had one of my medications that was ordered- they had my antibiotic, but no longer had the steroid that my doctor ordered for me. They texted me that my medication was ready- so I think it's terrible customer service to not contact a customer to let them know that you are out of their medication prior to them driving all the way there. I work at a primary care office, and I'm very familiar with medications, insurance, and speaking with pharmacies as part of my job. I simply asked the man who worked there at the window "what is the preferred alternative medication that I can ask my doctor to send over instead in place of the steroid? Specifically which alternatives are covered by blue cross blue shield (my insurance policy)" I just wanted to know what my doctor should send to their pharmacy so that I could avoid this happening again. The man at the window could not hear me, so I repeated myself a little louder for him so that he could hear me. The man then proceeded to accuse me of yelling at him- even though he had just asked me to speak up. Another one of his coworkers came over and he then proceeded to turn his microphone off and talk about me rudely- thinking that my friend and I couldn't hear him talking about us through the drive thru window. Every time I come here, the staff makes it so difficult for me to get my medication. I've lived down the street from this pharmacy my entire life, and it's sad how absolutely awful it has become. I recommend this place to nobody, don't even give this place your business. read more

Donna is maybe the worst employee I have ever encountered at a cvs pharmacy. She is rude, unknowledgeable, and has no interest in wanting to help others. She is argumentative and claimed that she knew more than my doctor. Claimed that my Presciption given was not an emergency and would not want to fill out the proper form so that my insurance would cover it. She would rather me pay out of pocket. I hope this community doesn't have to suffer under her lack of judgment and disregard for patients. It is appalling that a company like cvs has this person working as representative of theirs. It is sad to see how disgraceful and disrespectful this person was. It's no wonder why Amazon will take over the pharmaceutical branch of distribution. And rightly so. This is one of those "if I could leave zero stars, I would" reviews. I was traveling, forgot my meds, and had them called in to this cvs. Arrived about an hour after it was called in. Wasn't expecting it to be ready, especially given how busy they were. The tech went through the expected "this was filled earlier, insurance won't cover it" bit, which again, I expected. Said I'd pay for it, and that I'd come back in the morning. Came by over 12 hours later only to discover that cvs hadn't done anything. Same "this was filled earlier, insurance won't cover it" line. The evening staff had done literally nothing after I said I'd pay for the meds, asked them to fill the prescription, and that I'd pick it up. The morning staff were much more responsive, but the ineptitude and inconvenience caused by the first person I spoke to was inexcusable and unacceptable. read more

Pharmacy staffers have been more helpful lately, it seems like they have more employees working to process orders. Since Covid, I've been using the drive thru services a bit more, or can go into the store on off hours to get my medication. Pharmacist has also been helpful with changing name brand prescriptions to generic ones that are much cheaper (thank you!) Process time has been improved, and I really enjoy getting a text message when an order is ready for pickup. read more

I was forced to go to CVS after my insurance changed and aI would not recommend that anyone ever trust CVS with their medications. Walgreens is by far a way better pharmacy. I have ran completely out of my medications for the past 3 months due to CVS not having it in stock and not ordering in a sufficient amount of time. I can see it happening every now and then but it's seems to be a constant issue and it's not just one medication it's multiple. I was going yo try another CVS but apparently all of them are inept!! I will definitely be finding a new pharmacy. The WORST hold times when you call- don't even waist your time. They are understaffed. I would highly recommend taking your prescriptions elsewhere unless you are able to wait days before they can fill it! I called it in hours before I went to the store yet here I stand waiting on them to 'expedite' my medicine while they stand around chatting about nonsense. Even worse is the woman working the drive thru window is sneezing constantly and never cleaning her hands before or after touching items passing between the drive thru window. Apparently I'm not the only one with a negative experience because half the customers have walked aaay from the window mumbling about how they'll never return to this location. A large and very clean CVS. All pharmacy and household needs, and wonderfully friendly employees! The family I was visiting with needed detailed assistance at the pharmacy, and the tech made notes in their computer system with no hesitation. Up front when picking up a few items at checkout, the cashier alerted us to a BOGO sale, so that we wouldn't miss out on a deal. Fabulous! Do not go here to fill your prescription. I've been using CVS to fill my prescriptions for years. I transferred RXs to this location from SAT.... both have been equally terrible. I just had a csection and needed my pain meds the day I was released from the hospital. The earliest they said they could have my meds was the following day... after my husband told the pharmacist he was going to take it somewhere else the pharmacist said it may be ready that evening. So my husband left. Which here we are 4 hours later, 7 hours after my last dose and my pain is back and I can't rely in CVS pharmacy... save yourself the pain n poor customer service and go any where but here read more

I literally transfer from wal-mart to CVS like 2 months ago because of their 24 hour service, worst mistake I ever made in my life! This pharmacy is so HORRIBLE!! You call they keep you on hold between 30-45min, one time an hour! I guess they want you to hang up but I have time so I waited. Today I went up there on my 30MIN lunch break to get my RX, I get home, looked at the cost and realized they over charge me for my RX. Kristina answered my call in less than a minute, called my insurance provider when we ran into a snag, and called me back to let me know the prescription would be fulfilled in 30 minutes. Unbelievable service compared to my experiences at other stores. At the pharmacy, Nate and Imelda fulfilled the prescription and had me out the door in no time. I just moved to the area and had several prescriptions transferred to this CVS on Sunday. At 5PM Sunday, they not only had filled all of the medications, but failed to get all of them transferred from my old Rite-Aid in NJ. My old pharmacy called this CVS with the information on the missed prescriptions & I was informed the prescriptions wouldn't be available until the following day, Monday. One of the medications I take prohibits me from driving so on Monday I called to have the medications (including my blood pressure medication) DELIVERED to me. I was told they wouldn't be able to deliver them until the following day, TUESDAY. On Tuesday I called and was told they didn't have all of the information needed to deliver the medication, So I had to go through an automated system to get my payment information on file, at which point I was told they would be DELIVERED to me the following day - WEDNESDAY. On Wednesday at 3PM, after waiting all day for my medication, I called the pharmacy to find out why my medication hadn't yet been delivered and was told that they don't actually DELIVER medications, they use the USPS to MAIL the prescriptions and my medications were in my MAILBOX - about a mile away at the front of my development. If I was able to DRIVE to the mailboxes [in the rain no less] to get the medication - I might as well have driven to the damn pharmacy 3 miles away. I was told they DELIVER medications - not give them to the post office to leave in a box miles from my house when I can't drive - much less walk that far (in the rain) after being without my blood pressure medication and while on other medications which specifically prohibit me from DRIVING my car (which isn't registered & doesn't have plates yet since moving here from NJ). DELIVERY is not the same thing as MAILING something. If I have something delivered - I expect it to be DELIVERED to my front door - not dropped off at a box miles from were I live when I told the pharmacy outright that I take medication that prohibits me from driving and picking up the medication in the first place. How exactly does CVS expect other elderly and other disabled people who live in condos and developments with mailboxes located far from their actual houses supposed to get their medication DELIVERED? AND the pharmacy charges $4.95 for this INCONVENIENCE. If I could easily drive over to my mailbox - I could just as easily have driven over to the CVS and wouldn't need my medication DELIVERED in the first place. Don't advertise or tell customers you offer a DELIVERY service when you don't actually DELIVER medication to your customers !! read more

I shop this location regularly because it's very close to my house and is the only store open after 10pm in the area. This is my neighborhood pharmacy so I am here a lot ! Pharmacy is ok. Seem to have a problem remembering what programs I may be on for certain medications so always seem to have to wait while they adjust the price. This irritates me. I do however like their auto-fill program so I never forget to order my meds. They also text my cell phone when a RX is ready,, like that a lot as well. Staff is ok, not very friendly and certainly in no rush to help you out. The front store is fine. Good sales and they offer their own CVS savings card as well. You can have coupons go directly to your card so it's there whenever you buy anything. Always greeted with a kind "hello" when you walk in and a "have a great day" when you leave. I find the staff at this register to be much friendlier & helpful than the pharmacy. I LOVE that CVS has taken the initiative to stop selling tobacco products. Good for them ! And a bit worth a personal message,, I was one of the original CVS employees. Not at this store but at the very 1st one in Woonsocket RI way back in 1973. This is the worst CVS I have ever been too with the worst customer service. I came here to get my sisters pain medication after she had double knee surgery. I called before coming to confirm they had the medications I would need before driving to the store. Once I arrive I tell them that I need it as soon as possible since my sister was just released from the hospital. They tell me that theyu are not too busy and will have the medication within 30 minutes. I also had my dog with me so I had to go through the drive through. I sat in the parking lot so that I did not hold up the line and waited the 30 minutes. after this I got back in line and waited another 30 minutes to be seen again. It has now been over an hour so when I make it back to the window they tell me they don't have the medication and I need to go to the end of the line AGAIN becuase they needed 5 more minutes. When I told them how long I waited and i would just wait the extra five minutes at the window the associate started to threaten me and said they would call the cops if I waited at the window. They were so rude to me and not once I rude to them during this whole experience. read more

I love Burt's bees products, specially the orange extract facial cleanser and their toners. It's always so darn hard to find these two products. I've gotten both products here before yet recently they have every other BB products but the ones I need! Cashiers speak up and say: next in line. customers: do not f-ing cut me off. I am taller than the average US man and I not thin that you can't see me, shortass man! Do not cut people off. So dumb. Worst experience at a CVS pharmacy. The drive thru was 5 cars deep so I went inside. I stood in the "drop off" line and waited for 15 minutes while being ignored by the 3 employees. I went to the "pick up" line as that seemed to be actually getting attention. Another customer went into the "drop off" line and immediately was greeted and helped. I have better things to do with my time than stand in lines and be ignored by the employees. Never visiting this location again. The employees could use some customer service training. read more

On 10/25, I tried to fill an Rx for hydrocodone and was told it was out of stock due to an ordering error. I had to drive 30 minutes one way (plus one hour of wait time) to fill at another 24 hour CVS. Today, a separate Rx for OxyContin was dropped off for pickup by 7:30. I arrived at 8:30 and it couldn't be found. It was finally located under another patient's name. Then I had to wait another 10-15 minutes to have it filled. Once filled, I was told the quantity in the system was wrong and there wasn't enough to fill the Rx. I took the Rxs to Publix nearby, and they were filled accurately and fully within minutes, and for a fraction of the price quoted at CVS. I'm confused how two highly controlled substances can't be controlled in the ordering system, and the pharmacist (Benjamin) filed the Rxs under wrong names. These experiences proved to me why I will never take Rxs to CVS in the future. read more

I'm a cancer patient and every single month I check w them when I need to refill (just bc they are the closest pharmacy to me), and every single month they "don't have any left". Not only that but they refuse to tell you when they will get any, if any other cvs stores have it, and will not order it for me even though it's something I've taken every month for many years. I've been using this particular CVS on Gibsonton for a few years now. For the most part, the staff is courteous and efficient. However, there's been a few different occasions where the staff and pharmacist were rude. Today I was placed on hold for ten minutes because the tech just didn't want to be bothered with my inquiries. Someone else finally came on the phone and assisted l, however, I can tell she was in a rush. As I began to probe so that I can find out exactly to whom I was speaking, she was the pharmacist. I understand that they're busy but, there's no need to be rude. People don't take times out of their lives to call, be placed on hold for long lengths of time, just to hear someone's voice. They're calling because, they have legitimate issues If you can't handle that, maybe you're in the wrong business. read more

Worst pharmacy in the world. No matter what cvs I go to, the entire pharmacy is incompetent. They all stand around looking at each other like a bunch of bobble heads when you ask simple questions. They need to reevaluate their entire hiring process for the pharmacy. For a multi billion dollar company, they surely don't hire adequate pharmacy staff.
