Terrible pharmacy. Very rude. We're totally inflexible about switching my children's flu shot appointments. Would not recommend AT ALL.

Publix is a really nice store kinda like a Harris Teeter or Kroger. I think it's in the Kroger…read morefamily. When you walk in they have a sitting area to eat at. A sub section, hot food like chicken, Mac, potato's, and etc, a salad bar,and take and go with prepackaged salads and entrees. The salad bar had a decent selection, but it still felt like something was missing. There were no lids for the salad dressing on the bar. But a nice lady from the hot food section helped me find something to put it in. The strawberry blueberry salads were only $5 which was a good deal and they were fresh. The chicken tenders were almost $10 per lb. That felt kinda pricey to me. So we got wings because there was a better deal. The staff was friendly and the store was clean and well stocked. My only complaint is some aisles seemed to small for 2 people to pass by with a cart. The water aisle specifically. I literally had to move over so someone could get by. That was kinda weird. It's a very nice store with a variety of things. They also have a store card for savings. I'd certainly shop here again. Check them out.

Do you like being misgendered by the manager after asking Jen to stop misgendering you? This Publix…read moreis right for you then! I as a transgender person had a horrible experience after Jen was called to solve an issue I was having at checkout. After Jen misgendered me, I asked Jen to not refer to me as the wrong gender and Jen proceeded to do it again and then tried to prevent me from recording Jen's name tag. Pretty wild that Jen has made it to management.

This review is for their pharmacy…read more My insurance requires me to use Walgreens if I do not use my insurance company's mail order service. In the past, I have not experienced any difficulties with drop off Rx when I have them. Today was completely different, with potentially serious consequences. My husband was discharged from a medical procedure and we were given a stack of prescriptions to fill that he would need to begin taking immediately. We took them to Walgreens and asked to wait. The pharmacy staff told us our insurance provider's "system was down" so we said we would come back later for pick up. OK. When we call later to see if the prescriptions are ready for pick up, only 2 of them are as SOMEHOW THE THIRD ONE HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO MAIL ORDER. What? How did that happen? Well, no one knew. When asked how do we fix this, Walgreens pharmacy staff instructed us to call our insurance provider and request a "mail override" in order for us to be able to pick it up from the store pharmacy. So we call our insurance company, tell them what is going on (we need this Rx right now so my husband does not develop a blood clot so we cannot wait on mail order and how did this even get converted to mail order anyway). Insurance tells us we cannot request a mail override. Only the pharmacy can do that. WTH! So we call Walgreens to relay to them what Insurance Company told us - they have to call to request the mail override and if husband goes with this medication much longer, he is at risk for developing a blood clot from his recent procedure. So can they please help us. Finally, they agree to call Insurance Company to sort this out. Finally, we are able to pick up all three medications. We still have no idea how or why one of the meds got converted to mail order or why it took so many phone calls to sort this out. But when people are sick or recovering from a procedure, they need help, not the the runaround. Delays in delivering their medications can create a health crisis.

I recently wrote a CVS review for the store in Bon Air and gave it 5 stars for customer service…read more Apparently, this one in the Village is the ugly step child of the CVS family. First, a positive note, which earns them an extra star: we came in just before a storm/possible hurricane watch which loomed in the forecast. Upon entry, the store had set up tables filled with emergency supplies; flashlights, batteries, water, rain gear, etc. Good thinkin' Lincoln! While other stores had their customers running amok, this one planned ahead! Secondly, the negative note: the cashier who checked us out was rude and impatient. While my sis and I were gathering our coupons, and emptying our basket, she didn't greet us but said curtly: "you can only use one CVS card". Well! Good afternoon noon to you too!! We said we knew that and she continued to be robotic and basically snatched our items from our hands. Astounded, we muttered how rude she was being which made her ever more disdainful and abrupt. Uh-uh, I was about to make a scene and go off like Bon Qui Qui, Sa-curity!!! However, my self-control kicked in... we paid and ended this distasteful exchange and wished her a better day!! The receipt said the woman's name was Rachel. No matter how bad a day you're having, try to be as pleasant as you can to your customers. Thankfully, we averted the bad storm, and hope to have a sunnier experience upon our next visit!
